The reason I rated this one star is for one simple reason. My son and his friend are two seventeen year old boys who are fully capable of making their own decisions. This includes choosing what movies they would like to see. At age seventeen kids (young adults) are legally old enough to see a rated r movie. Tonight my son and his friend went into the movie theater to see the movie "Sausage Party". However, the women at the front desk told them she thought the movie was too inappropriate for them, so she feels that they should be 18 years old to see the movie. So my son asked if either my wife or I could come watch the movie with them. She told him, "no, no one under the age of 18 is aloud to view this movie, period." So my son and I called the manager. The manager told us that as long as my son has a state issued id that states he is 17 years old he is aloud to view this movie (which he has and showed the cashier). This movie theater needs to address the rules to the employees and make sure everyone is on the same page. My son is a 17 year old young man and does not need an employee to tell him what she wants and doesnt want him to watch. That is what his parents are for. Talk to your employees and fix this. Please and Thank you.

We normally love to visit this place, and I love the movie quality here vs other theaters, as well as the food. But the treatment we received today turned me away from this place forever. We have kids and like all kids they had a bad day being too noisy in the theater. No problem, we took them out and when they quieted down brought them back in. Well this was too much for the workers there, who asked us to leave. Again, no issue with us, we can always come back, these are KIDS. But they wouldnt refund us our money or give us a pass to come back again. I asked to speak with a manager who, on top of being completely unprofessional, said that we could sit on the couch outside of the theater if we liked but she would not allow us back into the theater or refund our money because it wasnt her fault our kids had a bad day. Well, I can certainly say we will NEVER be visiting this theater again. Parents beware of the not-so-family friendliness of this establishment!

Visited your establishment on August 4, 2016. The bartenders were very overwhelmed and were not able to handle the influx of customers. I waited several minutes to order 3 drinks. Once the bartender took my order she proceeded to make two of the drinks and then took another customers order, handed the other customer their order and then checked that customer out. When I asked her why she did not complete my order she started arguing with me about how busy they were and that she would make my drink now. Why she chose to not complete one order before moving on to another customer and then arguing with me is why I have rated your establishment with 1 star.

I would usually give this place a 5 star; been there many times and have always enjoyed myself however last night I had a very bad experience. Right at a very critical part of the movie the manager decided to stand in front of me and block the movie until I signed my credit card receipt. It had already been run so there was no rush to sign it. Very unhappy about this treatment. Spent alot of money between drinks, Food and ticket prices so do not understand how they justify making me miss the movie by standing in front of me with a flash light in my face till I signed. Could have squatted down and nicely asked if I could close out.

Be careful when purchasing online tickets for this theater! The purchasing process does NOT appear to to be a secure site, and there is little information posted on the nearly blank white and very amateur pages. The vendor is some no-name "Mercury" process. Since we use a safe AmEx card, we tried anyway and the card was denied both times. It was easy to change our plans to Cinema Cafe. The movie and time were the same, and their popular online tickets service was secure and worked just fine. I advised the manager of Beach Movie Bistro and he seemed like he didnt much care to hear my concerns.

A fun experience. They have tables for each set of two chairs and you can order from your seats before the movie starts, or from out in the bar once it has begun. I like this system - it keeps disturbances to a minimum. Ive been there twice so far and it seems easy to get good seats. The theater has a slightly dated, local vibe, but I find that common for beach communities, as well as sometimes a little charming. They have local artwork in the main foyer.

This movie house is a great way to take that special someone out for a night on the town. First start with dinner and a movie. They have a wide variety in their menu. Surf and turf, popcorn, personal pizzas. Including a fully stocked bar. The meal is prepared and brought to your table before the movie starts. Comfortable seating as well as a dynamic sound system. This is a definite return place. Its also only a few minutes walk from the beach.

I actually love the set up here. Each pair of seats has a little table for drinks and food. The bar service is quick if you want to grab something on your way back from the bathroom. The downside is they give the tables battery candles to deliver food orders but no way to differentiate so our popcorn went to a bunch of tables before they finally found us. This is disruptive to the movie watching process.

I really enjoyed going to this movie theatre. It ended up being my second choice after Cinema Cafes movie was sold out. But I have to say that this will be my first choice from now on. The customer services was great, the bathrooms were clean and the food was excellent. The food is a little on the expensive side but overall it was a great experience. I will be going back!

Wonderful place, decent quality food- not superb, but decent enough. Why do I love it? Because I can combine mac and cheese from the kids menu with a glass or Cabernet and a snickers bar without anyone blinking an eye! Truth be known, it is the young staffers that truly make this place a fun experience- they hire well, all very affable and accommodating.

The movie was excellent but the food was horrible. Sarah our server add more to her tip which I did not like very much. I call the place and told them what happened and they told me I have to call back tomorrow. I will never go there again and I will let everyone know how they think its okay for their servers to steal from guest. Such a shame

If this place were a bistro or a movie theatre only, it would not probably be first class and I would not be a regular. However the combination of both delicious sandwiches and great movies makes me fond of the site and "forces" me to return whenever I have the time, the money and the entourage.
