An affordable movie theater for families. Parents are probably wary about taking multiple children to the mall and paying big money to see a movie. At the time of this review, Hollywood Theater charges $3/ticket! You will get to see recent movies after theyve overstayed their welcome at Regal Cinemas. Because there is only one screen, there are only several showings a day. Make sure to plan ahead and arrive early. With the newly installed, leather reclining seats, its important to make sure you arent arriving late. While there is an abundance of seating, theres less than before so it may be hard for large groups to sit together unless you arrive early. Concession stand prices are reasonable with a wide variety of candy to choose from. Popcorn and Nachos are also available. Staff is friendly, theater is clean (did not visit the restroom). Location is a Pokestop for those who play Pokemon GO

I find it funny that people were complaining about the blue seats they put in a couple years ago...those seats are 10 times better than Great Northern Malls seats...at least they had cup holders. Now the Hollywood has comfy red leather reclining seats, similar to the seating at Movie Tavern. Skip the malls and come here for a much better and more affordable movie experience. The things you all are complaining about is what makes this place awesome, sticky floors? So what!!! You only paid 2 or 3 bucks for your ticket. Get over your pretentious self!!! I will always LOVE

For a discount movie theater, this is a great choice. Their prices are low, and they have fun family-friendly movies playing frequently. Its a great way to have a movie theater experience on a budget. At Christmas they show older holiday movies, like The Polar Express, which makes for a great date night or a night out with the kids. The theater is old, but it doesnt feel dirty or unsafe in any way. It just feels old... Which when youre watching a movie in the dark really doesnt hurt the experience much. Overall, I highly recommend this budget-friendly theater!

Although i love the new comfortable seats There is a lot of familys being turned away, Because there is not enough seats. I thought this was a community movie theater For families to come and enjoy low cost for families who cant afford the mall theaters. Owners need to consider the old chairs so everyone can see the movies together as a family.

I love the Hollywood theatre!! The movies are affordable enough to bring the whole family. They have great customer service skills and always make you feel welcome. They also just installed new electric recliner seating which is absolutely amazing. If youre looking to have a great time and enjoy yourself I highly suggest trying this theatre out.

Movies here will be long gone from mainstream theaters... CHEAP tickets, OLD seats, BAD sound, but I LOVED it. It was my first time here, and the "usual" crowd and overall atmosphere was somehow very comforting. Plus, its so cheap that I dont mind if anyone talks during the movie! I believe they show Rocky Horror for Halloween.

Great place to see a movie. You cant beat the price of a ticket. Many times Im busy when a movie comes out. They show the same movie a few months later. About $10 less. Now they have nice new comfortable recliner chairs. They staff is always curtious the food is fresh and the lines move fast. Ive never been disappointed there.

Amazing price for a movie that may have just been in at Destiny. $4 for a movie for my husband and I, rather than $25 at Destiny. Seats can get a little uncomfortable towards the end of a long movie and sometimes, you may get someone on their cell phone in front of you the entire movie. Overall, for what you pay its worth it.

The first time I took my great nephew there I remember him standing and asking the usher what theater the movie was in???!!! The guy responded "Buddy, this is theater 1 and the only one"---they were so use to the 15 theaters in the mall---a step back into time. They are very nice and the snack bar is very reasonable.

Simply amazing. 3 dollars admission. Full power reclining brand new seats. Refreshments at less than half the price of first run theatres and you see the same movie, just a month after it comes out. I dont know if I will ever go to first run theatres again. Going there seems like getting mugged in the alley.

Very cheap movie tickets, seating is very nice. With the low price, comes the draw back of the audience. They tend to be the loudest, most obnoxious bunch of people Ive ever heard in a theater. Literally every time, you can only hear about half the movie, because of all the people talking.

With the new seating and ticket prices less than $5, its worth the wait for new release movies to hit the Hollywood. Aside from the new seating, the theater is pretty dated and could use some paint here and there - other than that, its a decent place to see a cheap movie.

This is a great place!No one has $60-70 to spend on a movie for a family of four with popcorn and drinks at the mall!It is a rip off.I will wait a couple weeks for the movie to come here,and spend $20 for the same thing.Go here if you have any economic sense.

You cant beat this venue-- big screen movies with big screen sound for $1.50. I dont ever pay full price for movies, I just head to the Hollywood a few weeks after they open and catch them here if I want to see them on the big screen.

Its hard to beat a 2 dollar movie. We saw the last movie for the day and during the movie they were cleaning the lobby and so for like an hour there was a super annoying and surprisingly loud sound of plastic bags crumpling.

Very cheap matinee prices, decent popcorn and snacks. New seating is nice, however, the location is always less clean than other theaters. Things are in need of repair and the atmosphere feels like it is a work in progress

Great theater I just wish they played more teen/adult films. The majority of the movies they play are for children and they often will play these for several weeks in a row but the adult films have a lifespan of 1 week.

Where else can you go for fresh popped large Popcorn with a large soda and the Movie ticket for $13 for all 3! New power reclining seats with great screen and sound. Kick back and relax to a fantastic experience.

Get past the debris-riddled exterior, and this place is great. Brand new super-comfy seating, decent audio, good 4k projection, flipping $3 a ticket. Well be waiting for all the kid movies to get here.

Super comfy chairs and cheap movies! Quality isnt the same as what youd get at a first run cinema in terms of sound or picture clarity, but it is fun to see movies you missed on the big screen.
