This is in response to the review left on previously on this page. Olde Towne Carriages does not discriminate against anyone and Olde Towne Carriages gives carriage rides we are not in the business of giving customers rides on our horses. Olde Towne Carriages has to deal with many personalities, people who feel bad for our horses and accuse us of abusing them (which is not true, our horses are part of our family and very well taken care of) and then there are people who think our animals are machines that they should go on and on like a car, bus or other vehicle. It is a fine balance to keep our horses happy and healthy. As a responsible animal owner we do not ever over burden our animals and yes there are weight limits as to how much an animal can safely pull and how much they can carry. If this insults someones feelings we are sorry that is the way it is, the animals welfare comes before the desires of unreasonable people. Our carriage holds six individuals and we dont ask our horses to carry adults or children who are over the weight of 275 lbs, they are not large horse and asking them to do so is abuse.

Dont waste your time. The owner is very rude. I booked a ride for my engagement. She called with a truck breakdown. I said, no problem....I was very understanding. I asked to reschedule it. I tried and tried contacting her. She would only respond when I said I was going to the better business bureau. She finally responded, and said shed refund. I had to text again to ask where my money was. Finally got it, but not for the full amount. Its a shame to do business this way. I am a lifelong native of Fredericksburg, and love the city and the concept. But this lady needs lessons in people skills. I will tell everyone I see now about my experience

Did the Santa ride last year for my 3 year old grandaughters birthday. It was amazing. She wants to do it again!
