We came to the Bungalow Lake House Restaurant in Sterling, Virginia; on Thursday August, 27 2015. Their server (Abi) was great! The flat bread pizza was terrific! It was one of the best flat bread pizza’s I have ever eaten. We had a wonderful time! I could not wait to eat that pizza again and asked my husband when we could come again. Our second visit was on Tuesday September 1st. Our server (Justin) was also very good! However our pizza came out of the kitchen cold and stale. Perhaps yesterday’s leftover. The manager was summoned to explain our concern and she quickly brought us a completely new and fresh one. Then a woman with 2 kids – 2 y.o. and 3 y.o. came and sat in the booth behind my husband. Screams, crying, and whining yet Mom could care less about their behavior. Who wants to sit next to this type of client? Not me!! My evening came to an end immediately. Drinking establishment restaurant’s need to limit entrance to adult’s with small children. This is not McDonald’s or a restaurant whose primary business is serving family oriented meals.

The worst experience I ever had in US. First time I went to this place was for a company celebration and the food was bad, my husband even found hair on his food, but we have the positive attitude that it can happens everywhere. So recently we went back for drinks with a group of friends. First one of our friends ordered a Burguer with fries and he had to request the waiter to bring it back because it was cold and looking like it just came from somebody else leftovers. Then we went inside bad and besides I having a water in my hand I was "invited" to leave because I had a suspicious behavior. Just for your information, I didnt talk with anybody beside my friends, I wasnt dancing or doing anything called "suspicious" as they said. So if you want to have a pleasant time stay away from this place. Also this isnt a place to have a nice dinner either, unless you are ok with lack of higiene or low quality food with high prices. The one star is because I have to do it in order to post my comment.

This was not a good experience. The food was very over-priced and unimpressive. The staff was unprofessional and unconcerned. The lack of service left me shocked. Our waiter failed to tell us that the three mile long wing sauce was EXTREMELY hot. So, we ordered it thinking it would be a nice change from the regular BBQ and my mouth was set on fire. I asked for them to change the sauce and they were mad at me!! The cocktails were virgin cocktails. Eventually I asked if I could have a different cocktail so I got a Cosmo. Then, the cosmo was STRAIGHT vodka and I felt sick after having even one sip. These were not good cocktails at all. The crab dip is $15 and they give you a TINY bowl with many tortilla chips. This was a horrible experience and I will NEVER be back again. So much for a nice date night.

Everyone I know likes it here. Ive had tons of friends work here. I really dont care for bungalows and always try and suggest another place. Its got a smoking lounge, but i dont smoke. The bar area is wierd and claustrophobic. They have taken out half of the pool tables since they have opened. I always get bad service (except from friends) from some cheeky waitress. Everytime. If you complain about someone half pouring a drink in your purse they make you pay for it explictly tell your drunk, even though all the alcohol is in your kate spade purse. Everything is STILL over priced even though its not the "new" place anymore. Im just really over it.

The place is ok. The servers are nice and their service is decent. The food was overpriced for the quality.I had the worst lamb gyro in my life, just came from another state and this was my first visit Im a restaurant today. The meat was dry. The entire composition and the flavor was off. I had wasted 13 Dollars, I just should have went to McDonalds.... Im so disappointed. In addition to that, my stomach is upset.I ate some of the fries, and less than a third of the food. because I was hungry, but stopped, I could not bare the taste anymore. Its absolutely disgusting. I just want to throw up. Im going home to have a coke and settle my stomach.

Love the atmosphere and decor. I ranked a 3 star because the food we ordered just wasnt up to par. My wife order was filet mignon and it just had a weird taste to it with the gravy/sauce they added. I ordered the pot roast and it was just too dry and seemed over cooked. On the good side, I did like the appetizer flat bread and cup of chilli. The chilli even had a fun presentation with all the toppings spread out on the side. Recommend fixing the dinner entree issues, we didnt complain to management but highly recommend they work on the dinner entree listed above.

Great food, great staff! We enjoyed: Fish Tacos,Gyro, Crab and Lobster Ravioli, Scallops,and to end the Chocolate Lava cake; which were all amazing. Glad I didnt listen to the "bad" reviews, Im not sure what some of these folks had but they have a great menu from expensive to very reasonable; and while the expensive entrees are slightly over priced for the amount you get they are very well prepared; and the lower priced menu items were portioned very well, and was some of the best food ive had in a long time. I definitely feel we got our moneys worth, and will be going back.

So they charged my card twice on a hundred dollar bill (from a special occasion, Im not rich enough to rack up a c-note sized tab on the reg). So, while theyre "taking care of it" Im sitting on an overdrawn account for 3 business days, five real days, with all the charges that apply. Oh and the manager said this happens there at least three times a day. Im tempted to give two stars because of good beer selection and their pizza was all right, but frankly their mess up is costing me too much money for me to be that generous

Went there today for a company celebration. Pricy food, but vey nicely done. The waitress was amazing. She gives you another drink as soon as your cup goes empty. And she remembers what each person has. I commented on her when she went away, not realizing she was already back and was right behind me. Every one got a good laugh. She gave the best service. Very professional. I regret bringing my guest to red lobster last time. I should have come here

Upscale pub and restaurant. The bar area is large and has outdoor seating available overlooking a private lake. There is also a cigar bar area here with a decent selection of cigars, liquor, beers and wine. The food is very good and the people friendly. Large screen TVs are in the bar so you can watch the games on with friends. A very popular area for after work meetings with friends. Highly recommended!

My wife and I planned our first rehearsal dinner at The Lakehouse. Cheryl,Julia and all the staffer were very helpful and friendly. All of the 35 guests were very impressed with the atmosphere, food, drinks and especially the service.We could not be happier and look forward to booking our next gathering at The Lakehouse..Thank you all so much !!!
