Too pricey for my middle-class budget, but everything here tastes PERFECT. Whos ever considered putting bananas flambe atop sushi? TEAK HAS. Go for the Crazy Monkey (sweet potato tempura, black rice, banana, avocado, creme fresh) &/or the Black Mamba (black rice, shrimp tempura, avocado, banana tempura, spicy king crab) - alike but very different. Also amazing is their Sabu Sabu Stir Fry (close to chicken ka-prow for those who are familiar with traditional Thai fare, though a bit sweeter) & the BBQ Korean tacos, which are juicy & spicy & wonderful. The only thing Ive tried that I didnt love was the Next Spider roll. Something about the texture felt slightly off - & off-putting. Also off-putting are the prices, but for dinner this delicious, Im willing to pay a little something extra. Teak, I freaking love you.

Ordered the Jacinto roll and it had an overpowering lemon taste to it.Told the waiter about it, and he explained that it was the ceviche sauce in it.Told him would like to order the Skirt steak instead....the meat was tender and flavorful but the size of the steak was ridiculous, especially in comparison to the size of the colossal plate they serve it in and its cost $29.00 with a little bit of greens and 5 yuca fries! Also the menu does not disclose how many ounces of meat you are getting, unlike most restaurants that do.Make matters worse they did not remove the roll charge on the bill. After a bill of $122.00 , not including the tip we left hungry and very dissapointed with Teak.

We had reservations, but saw a good number of people in the waiting area. Parking wasnt easy to find, although we visited on a weeknight. Good sushi rolls and signature sushi dishes (in particular the roll with deep-fried soft shell crab) as well as tasty cocktails. I was missing the original Japanese Kewpie mayo, which adds a lot of umami to sushi. The wait staff was extremely nice and attentive, and the food and drinks came quickly. The place is unfortunately a bit noisy with a reflective ceiling, making it hard to have a conversation.

Ive frequent Teak many times over the course of yrs. But as I was walking up I noticed "under new management BISTRO BOYS" I should have known better right from there! It was myself & my husband and mondays are "supposed" to be 1/2 price sushi... not only was our bill a crazy amount for 2 people but the food tasted old !! The sushi was 1/2 the size of normal.. and the rice was disgusting !! I will never goto Teak again !! I can eat in so many other GREAT places thats 1/2 the price on a normal night !

We had an amazing dinner at Teak in Red Bank served by Carlye the food was great as was the service but after dinner we wanted to check out the rooftop and the "bouncer" if you can call him that stopped my husband for wearing flip flops... news flash...there was no line and we are in Red Bank not NYC so Im sorry how are flip flops not allowed at the Jersey Shore? I must have missed something. We will not be coming back needless to say and no wonder Teak couldnt survive in Hoboken

We came out to enjoy a nice family dinner for my sisters birthday and Ive never felt more rushed eating at a restaurant. We had drinks apps and entrees and were out the door in under 45 minutes. The bussers are like hawks and the second you were not chewing something they were coming to take your plate away. I had to tell them 3 times I wasnt finished until I was fed up and had them take my plate.

Absolutely love their calamari salad and lettuce wraps! Unique sushi combinations and fresh ingredients throughout the entire menu. Super attentive bartenders! Check out lunch and happy hour, as its a bit quieter and you can just relax and have some great food and drink. Overall, I highly recommend Teak. Its a true red bank staple, and I imagine will be for years to come.

Waited for 3hrs to be seated. Spoke to the "manager" who was young and obviously has no idea what good customer service is. The man who does the seating was extremely rude. I couldnt tell you how the food was because after 3 hrs of being pushed to the side we decided to leave. And headed to Applebees where we were taken care of n treated like the paying customers we are.

Terrible service! Put our name down for a table, hostess said it would be 15 minutes, well an hour later when we checked to see how much longer she totally forgot about us. Food was good but the service and the amount of time to wait to get your order was awful. Overpriced and bad service.. Stay away from this place! Thanks for ruining our anniversary dinner.

This place was airtight. The server was able to meet our time constraints and its very close to the Count Basie Theatre. I had a burger which was a bit too charred if you ask me but the person I was with enjoyed her sushi roll. The drinks were well made though. If it werent for the burger I would have added a star.

Excellent food prepared and platex very well. I started with "KFC" Korean fried chicken wings which were excellent, six wings per portion. For a main course I had the calamari salad which had an abundance of fried calamari. The apples and cashews worked very well with the miso dressing.

Korean BBQ tacos were heavy handed on spice which assaulted the taste buds. Thai chicken lettuce bowls were just weird - didnt sense the Thai as it was akin to chicken salad. Overall I dont think they get the nuances of flavors in their version of fusion. Perhaps the rolls are better?

Teak is under new management, and its much improved. The service was always great, so not much to improve on that front, but the food, bar and atmosphere have only gotten better. Looking forward to their expansion and rooftop dining! Keep up the good work, Teak!

i went with a big group and my food didnt come out. the waiter offered me a free drink, when i accepted he brought out a bill for the drink and then the drink itself. the food turned out to be excellent but i cant bring myself to deal with the service.

I love Teak! The food is amazing. A great selection of sushi and to die for wine! The new roof deck is a great addition. This place is not to be missed when in Red Bank (and worth a trip if youre not already there!)

One of our favorite sushi restaurants in the area and their Monday night half price menu is just a great extra perk!! we especially love it because they offer gluten-free sushi options and gluten-free soy sauce!!!

DJ was good expect for playing the same songs one too many times. The rooftop section was nice. If you go for drinks get something bottled or shots because the mixed drinks are basically flavored water.

Food is great! Love the jalapeno margarita also. If you have never been, you have to try the Black Mamba roll and the Jersey Girl roll (they are really different and delicious!)
