My fiance and I were very happy to find CNGCC for our wedding reception. We booked a year in advance just to be sure we got our date. It was definitely the best deal around. Our wedding was scheduled for August 1, and I contacted Richard from CNGCC in February to set up tastings, etc. He said their kitchen was closed for the winter, but we could set up something in the spring. (They never contacted us to set anything up.) In early May, I was about to order my invitations. I decided to contact Richard just to be sure our date and time was firmly set before I put it in writing. He was "just about to call me" (even though he hadnt contacted me since we signed the paperwork nine months earlier). He wasnt sure if the space would be available for our date. They were doing "renovations", and they might not be ready by August 1. After doing some searching, we discovered that there had been a fire there in October (October!!) that they had never told us about. Richard promised to help us find a new place for our recpetion, but he said he would start calling places "tomorrow". Like any bride who suddenly found she had no reception hall less than three months before her wedding, I freaked out and started calling places right away. By the next day, Richard had no leads and I had three. To make a long story short, he kept saying he could call me and update me or help me, but he NEVER once called me. My fiance and I ended up spending more money than we would have at CNGCC (though the new place was nicer), even though Richard said he would help us get a deal where we would pay the same price. CNGCC never gave us anything for our troubles. Not even so much as a gift certificate for a free round of golf or a gift card to their restuarant. Had I not contacted them, we would also have had to pay for new invitations! (As it was our invitations went out late.) They told me they would check with their board of directors about getting us some sort of compensation and they would get back to us. That was over five months ago. Were still waiting. My advice: If youre at all worried about your blood pressure, dont book there!

We joined this club several years ago and despite the promise of a "country club" experience, found ourselves going less and less. I think we just got tired of the dated decor and poor maintenance but the bigger turn-off was sporadic cleaning practices in the pool, changing room and rest rooms. Wife was grossed out, we stopped going and ended our membership after the year was out. Heres the kicker... Upon signing up, we were told we had to make an "investment" in the club in the form of class C stock that would be redeemable (aka get our money back) shortly after we ended our membership which I was told would be "within a year or two after the board meets". Every time I called, I got the run-around "were checking into it". 3-4 years went by and my calls were no longer returned. I finally got a letter in the mail a couple weeks ago stating that my stock certificate is worth ZERO based on the fact that the club has no assets. Nice way to screw members with slick selling and accounting. Should you make the mistake of joining this club, consider the stock investment a sunk cost.

The lay out and condition of the golf course is beautiful. Well maintained and taken care. You can defeintly tell its a private course. The upstairs bar area is wonderful a real focal point that shouldnt be missed if you have the opportunity too see it. Food is outstanding the Chef does a wonderful job. The restaurant manager Scott is fantastic at his job and anticipating members needs. One of the hidden gems of Centreville, and a must see location.

Perfect for an outdoor wedding ceremony, patio cocktail hour for photos on the grass, and an indoor banquet with delicious foods. Passed appetizers for cocktail hour were not particularly unique or delicious. Gary was the most experienced and charming bartender; I enjoyed every cocktail he made me! Otherwise, catering staff seemed well managed and were professionally responding to any requests. Overall a great party space!

Been a member since August and we love CNGCC. The staff are excellent and the course and grounds are outstanding. We expect only more great things now that CNGCC is owned by ClubCorp. They are making outstanding investments and the expanded benefits from ClubCorp are second to none. If youve ever considered joining CNGCC now is the time!

Nice course in Northern VA. Has some really good water holes, is scenic and fairly quiet. We play here several times a year. The course and clubhouse were recently renovated. The clubhouse restaurant and bar have some really good food options ... even if you are not there to play.

We had a great evening on the upper deck. Food was good as was the service. Only issue is they shut down at 9. But they didnt kick us out and we stayed until 9:45.
