The course itself is decent, but the staff are nothing but unpleasant. First Terry at the pro shop does nothing but complain about how "jammed" the course is all the time. One time he wouldnt let me go out on the course because I didnt know the name on the tee time, only the time. Not to mention this was on a Friday evening only playing 9. Also I had an old gift card that was good at all three courses. Terry told me he would transfer it to their new cards. What he didnt mention was that now I could not use that gift card at Greystone. Lovely, now I have all this credit at a course I dont wish to play at. Then there is a ranger, skinnier guy with glasses that does nothing but follow you around the course no matter how fast or slow you are playing, he is nothing but negative and a PITA. It is sad that Pines closed, because now everyone jams SL and adds to the unpleasantness of it overall. Save your money and sanity, go to Ontario CC, Blue Heron, or even Eagle Vale,.

I had my bridal shower here. There were 3 other showers going on that day however with the way it was laid out, it really wasnt a bother. When I arrived the room was all set up and decorated (thanks to my friends), and the weight staff was on hand. We headed out to the bar to get a drink before everyone arrived. My drink was free since I was the bride! woo! They didnt have mojitos which stinks, but their mimosas were delicious. The parking was a little tight, however there is a loop where you can drop things off if needed. For food we had a buffet of cold cuts and salads. They were all very good. OH, and the sangria...it was DELICIOUS! Everyone seemed to be pleased with the food. At the end of the shower the staff even helped us load all of the gifts into the car, which was greatly appreciated. I definitely recommend having an event here. Its absolutely beautiful!

Shadow Lake was the perfect venue for our wedding! The food was superb, staff were there every step of the way to help us keep everything running smoothly, grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Our coordinator throughout the wedding planning process was amazing and quick to respond to questions that we had. The day of our wedding everyone did a magnificent job making sure the wedding was as seamless as possible!!! I highly recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a venue!!! I cant thank everyone enough at Shadow Lake for making our dream wedding come true!!

My new wife and I recently hosted our wedding at Shadow Lake and my onlt regret is that we cant do it again tomorrow. We had a blast! Ryan Carbone, Mike, Isiah, Jack, and the rest of the staff are awesome. The food, golf course, drinks, and accomodations to details and requests from ourselves and vendors was pulled off with fine professionalism. We cant thank you all enough for all your hard work.

Golf is great, staff not so much. Had a blast on course despite having to eat a dry turkey sandwich at 820am, at the turn, on fathers day, because the grill wasnt hot. Breakfast items on menu never available, snack girl informed- Not morning people i guess. Complained to obese proshop guy who could care less. Eagle vale much higher quality establishment for 2 bucks more, no brainer.

Shadow Lake lost another client... I went to shadow lake to play nine holes and my wife was to ride along because she enjoys watching me play. Apparently they do not allow spectators so we were not allowed to play. This is ridiculous. I have had no problems in the past playing golf courses and have someone ride with me, this is a first, #Lame

Nice venue for a company dinner which was the reason for my visit. The food was good, the service was good but the facilities are horrible! There is only one VERY small ladies room with only 2 working units, not enough for any establishment that hosts company dinners, parties or events of any kind...

Not good. The food was obviously something pre-prepared from a food service such as Sysco. Service was mediocre. Very expensive for what we got. Dining room was okay, clean, but the place was pretty dead at 7:45.

Pace of play was extremely slow. Over 6 hours. Price was not consistent with course conditions. Almost $50 for what I would consider a mediocre course.
