I used to think the discount Tuesdays were a great way to keep my Regal Crown Club Diamond Status. I was wrong. I paid for three different movies (Cure for Wellness / The Great Wall / Fifty Shades Darker) on Feb. 21st and only received credit on my account for one ticket. This mistake is compounded when you add the Universal See 4 Get 4 promotion going on that provides additional incentives such as 1,000 points extra for each movie viewed. Two of these (The Great Wall and Fifty Shades Darker) were available for viewing on the same day and I held tickets for both. Overall I received one Diamond credit instead of three and only got points for one movie without any of the bonuses. I was told that I should have mentioned this when I was paying and only bought one ticket at a time. The reason I didnt buy one at a time is the whole reserved seating issue. To top things off I had to leave "The Great Wall" viewing because of excessive talking within the audience and cell phones being used by people sitting on either side of me. I used to think discount Tuesdays at Manchester were a great thing, especially in regard to earning my Diamond status points and credits. Now theyve found a way to even take that away. Considering this is my second time around at Diamond status you would think they would appreciate my business and my former "glowing" reviews but apparently I am mistaken. I even drive 60 miles round trip to watch my movies here at Manchester instead of the one (Manor 16) 12 miles round trip from my house. Obviously I need to take my business elsewhere.

Its alright to go see a movie there. But really its old. The theater seats are uncomfortable and they need to remodel the theaters so it can be enjoyable to watch a movie. Its just out to date. You cant even buy tickets at the ticket booth anymore! Whats up with that? I really see in 5 or 10 more years that theater will be closed, because York just opened up a new theater a while back at queensgate called Franks and its really nice the seats are really comfortable and can rock back and forth so I guess they recline. Its really clean very modern and new which I love. You can even put your own season and butter on your popcorn. If someone were to ask me which movie theater should I go to west Manchester regal or Franks. I would say FRANKS all the way. :)

Supercomfy recliners, excellent staff (Ive summoned managers for stupid talking/texting idiot patrons etc and the managers have been awesome). Audio can sometimes can be a bit loud (but thats just me), so earplugs or headphones. Usually minimal and fast moving lines, if there are lines at all. Convenient kiosk to pick up online tickets. Multiple bathrooms! A bit chilly but I hate air conditioning and bring a hoodie or blanket. Food is insanely expensive, but it is in every theater, and I came to watch movies, not nosh. Fabulous number of comfy theaters with all the latest films. There have been technical difficulties but theyve been fixed quickly... or mgmt gives you a rain check. Great theater.

3 tickets , 31.00 snack bar and 1/2 hr of previews. 5 mins before the movie started our family was told we had to move that our tickets that were purchased online were sold at the theater and had to move to different seats or give us passes for another time. They refused to give us a refund, this took about 30 minutes to discuss in which time the movie had already started. Around $60 to watch previews and eat crappy snacks. Will never go there again! Left and went to Franks! Had to give 1 star to write a review. VERY disappointed. Recap: $60, previews, no movie, crappy snacks of popcorn and drinks ($31) overpriced is an understatement, and refused to give a refund.

Regal has really stepped up their game. We just started going back after being told about the upgrades. The new reclining chairs they have are awesome and the updated sound is great. Not sure if they are 4K yet. The lobby still needs a refresh, and they need to add some bathrooms but other than that the movie watching experience has improved 10 food at this spot versus their competitor across town. Just a quick tip. Buy your tickets online and you dont have to wait in line. Even pick your seats right on your phone!! Its quick and easy. Everyone was looking at me when I bypassed the line that was out of the door and went straight in.

I bought my tickets weeks early for Valentines Day. I showed up for my movie at 10 oclock , as my movie started at 10:10 . I sit in the theater for a HALF HOUR after movie start time . I go out and ask whats going on , and they tell me that the movie doesnt ACTUALLY start until 11:15 ???? They reassured me that I would be in the same theater , just have to wait. The real movie time comes around , and once again , NO MOVIE . then they tell me that they have to show it in a whole different theater . They promised two of the promo tickets for next time , BUT WOULDNT HONOR THAT PROMISE AFTER THE MOVIE . RIDICULOUS. Beyond ridiculous.

The movies are dark, I love the seats and love how close it is. But ive been here now 3 time, both of the last 2 the movies color and contrast was way off. It was super dark. I even got up and got an employee. He came into the movie and saw it was super dark. But then he just kept saying "i dont know if its supose to look that way or not". I was so turned off i now travel 45 minutes more to a different theatre. I no longer want to gamble on the quality of the movie. Maybe, my experiences are not tipical. Maybe they have fixed this problem. But Im not going to waste my time or money anymore.

Connie at the box office is HORRIBLE!!! Completely rude with no cause to be!!! How about some professionalism. Had I not been there with friends would absolutely have turned around and left, first impressions are everything after all. While the new recline seats are comfy, the assigned seating is a real disappointment. Unless you buy your tickets online before coming to the theatre you have no idea if everyone in your family or group of friends will be able to sit together. Overall disappointed with my experience here.

This theater is convenient and quite comfortable. I have rarely had to wait very long in any lines. There are numerous ways to acquire the tickets. It is very digital friendly. They seem to have enough workers available for the crowd. It is clean and the employees are polite and friendly. The bathrooms are clean and well supplied. The seats are assigned with the choice to buy your seating ahead of time. The seats recline and are fairly comfortable. The parking is adequate. I usually enjoy my visits to this theater.

They need walls between the urinals, and some serious ventilation in restrooms New chairs they got are simply terrible and almost impossible to find a comfortable position, they should have left the originals. The staff is too slow and often can not figure out the coffee machine Sometimes you have to buy ticket at front entrance, another time you have to go at the food counter, One time they want to see the tickets, other times no one around
