I wanted to have the experience of going to this theatre myself, and personally, I was quite satisfied. I took my daughter and her friend there, what is important to me is safety and making sure you dont have idiots running through the movie theaters acting like clowns and that they have lost their mind, and it was a real peaceful and cordial environment, I would say the only downside is that the chairs are somewhat old so they appear to be rough looking and tattered, I will say one thing though, it aint the old hippodrome on Greenmount Avenue, thats for sure, lol. but I also want to commend the ownership for even having the guts and courage to come on a Google review and answer peoples questions and ask for their insight you do not normally have that in Corporate America ,so that act alone takes an ample amount of courage and guts, when I saw that in the reviews I was like damn, thats bold for anyone to open themselves up to criticism like that. Im not a fault finder, I accept a situation for what its worth hoping it will get better.. If not, we all have the right just to go somewhere else.

My family and I have been coming back to Flagship lately and have had great service. Love the newly remodeled theater 4. We were there this Tuesday for Ninja Turtles and our experience was awesome. However my family and I are huge horror fans so we wanted to beat the crowd Friday for Conjuring 2 so I took a day off work and we went to the 12:20 p.m. showing and that movie stopped and restarted 6 times before management finally stopped it altogether 3/4 in to the movie and as their apology they gave us a ticket to come back and see the movie at another time. Im disappointed because it goes without saying you needed to refund the movie we paid for, however I feel excellent customer service would have additionally either given us free snacks when we HAD to come back, an additional free movie for our trouble or our money back. I was disappointed that the manager was just like sorry guys the film must have been a bad copy and handed us a ticket and let us leave disappointed. I will say its much better since new management and we will be back but Im very disappointed in the way Friday was handled.

I see alot of people on here bitching. Thats Kinda annoying this movie theater is close to home. We live in the hood so to expect it to be like White marsh or a 5 star restaurant is over shot. The only thing i will say bad about this place is they need more food options and maybe a new bar for there condiments. Other then that everything else is as expected. The thing with no ticket taker sometimes is a little off but thats because this place seems to be under staffed. Thats there problem not ours. If your not intelligent enough to read your ticket and see what theater maybe you should go back to school. I will always go to this theater when they have the movie i want to see. Christmas time there is a nice display of trains. Largest size popcorn and Soda come with free refills. If you go during the daytime almost always able to practically have the theater to yourself. I average going to this place about two times every other week or so to support movies that i have interest in. The experience is what you make of it.

Located in a swath of abandoned and rundown industrial centers and decades boarded-up, long defunct retail establishments, Flagship has its work cut out for them. Portions get remodeled and then immediately are run down, vandalized or ruined again. The urban clientele and the neighborhood surrounding really work to overwhelmingly antagonize the establishments strongest gains. However, Flagship is currently one of the only active businesses in the area attempting to actually build, restore, or renovate the Detroit-esque rundown that is Essex. Its nice to see something building up right for a change and for the picture quality and the concession and ticket prices, this is hands down my choice for a theatre over the local AMC whose prices are legitimately double. Otherwise I trek up to the new Cinemark if I dont mind driving that far. Eastpoint (Flagships) popcorn is way better than any of the other nearby theatres too, by the way.

Absolute horrible experience. I used to go to this theater as a child and thought it would be safe! My children and I arrived to find out Smurfs 2 wasnt working. They didnt offer any type of coupon or barely an apology. We decided to stay and watch Despicable Me 2. After paying $50 dollars for tickets and snacks including watered down punch and EXTREMELY stale nachos, we had to stand and wait for the ticket person. 10% into the movie, the movie stops! 5 minutes later they get it working again, but again, no apology or anything. The theater was dirty and smelly, there was trash from the previous shows on the ground, the customer service was completely lacking! Totally disappointed. Never again!

I went here for the second time on Tuesdays they have a deal you can see a movie for $6.50 and if you dont mind it being crowded then its a good deal and you have to not mind they dont have alot of employees either so they had one person working the ticket window and they have 2 fast ticket machines but then they move just as slow as the person in the ticket window and then the machine went down and we had to wait about 25 mins for the manager to come over and say oo you can just go to the concession stand and they will get you youre tickets and the seats are comfortable they recline just if you go on a Tuesday either go late or be super early 6 to 7pm is not the time to go its over crowded

The most AWFUL movie experience ever!!!!! They remodeled and it looks nice but it being completely destroyed with having no security and inconsiderate people RUINING the movie for everyone else!!! They dont do anything about it. I came in the 9:45 "Rings" movie after a long day of work hoping to enjoy a movie and the entire time was horrible!!! People yelling, cussing, running up and down the steps play fighting, talking, the ENTIRE movie, no joke! Never ever again!!!! Ill stick with white marsh movies and its a shame I have to take an extra 20min drive to a movie theatre and its one 5min away from me! I couldnt even enjoy the movie! So disappointed!

The place overall was good but there was a problem at the snack bar. My fiance and I got in line and was greeted by a girl in a red shirt, she took our order in a blah tone. After we ordered our food we had to wait for my fiances chicken tenders and fries while we were waiting we noticed that the girl in the red shirt was the only one doing anything, besides the girl making the food, with customers in line. The other 4 were standing in a circle laughing and having a good time. When we got the food the girl making the food slid the chicken tenders on the counter without saying anything. Our experience would have beengreat if not for that.

This is the most nastiest place ever!!!! Dirty, filthy, pissy smelling bathrooms toilets filled with crap. So I order popcorn they was out of butter. I wanted a hot dog but didnt have any at the time. I then ordered tinder and fries, didnt have french fries nor any sauce for the tenders (WTF) !!!!! so I wind up ordering cheddar cheese chips that costs nearly 11 bucks. The one girl was working by herself doing it all then she called for help. The manage came out and had a look on her face like (what the f#$k do you want) the manager didnt help this young lady and watch as her employee worked in misery.
