My experience here was at first wonderful. Quaint establishment newly renovated. However out window was left open when it was painted and so we could not close you window! There was no screen in the window and do when we came back from the wedding nextdoor our room was full of bugs!!!! Also we were charged 2x for our one night stay and at 277$ a night thats sort of a big deal! I have been trying to get this charge refunded since JUNE! each time it is at least 20-30 mins on the phone to confirm that yes we infact stayed there and yes we were over charged. Then im told that the manager has to call me back! Twice i have heard back fro.the manager and given them my card number. Twice I have been assured that the charge would be taken care of! Both times it was not! Now i cant even call the hotel, I get the resort management answering machine that doesnt even have du village as an option to leave a message! I have never delt with such incompetence before! At this point I have now paid more in interest over the past 5 months than the extra charge!!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! If they refund my charge and do something to address the fact that I have now paid more in interest because of their incompetence i will gladly change my rating.

My husband and I had been staying at this hotel every years for the past 10 years when we go to New Hope. The staff is so wonderful and amazing. We love it here because it is so nIce and have the most beactifull landscape. We always start our trip with unpacking going out to eat at the restaurant and trying something new on the menu like rabbit. After we eat we like to go out is been a night out on the town. We always like to end the night with taking a dip in the pool and go swimming before we go to bed. The next day before we go back in town and go shopping we always take a nice walk while holding hands around the beautiful landscaping. This has been our go to get away routine for the last 10 years and it is wonderful.

Great location to unwind for a few days. Cozy, access to swimming pool in summer, nice fireplace dining, great dishes (the rabbit dish is excellent, a good spin on the ingredients), tennis courts, close access to the picturesque New Hope, Lambertville and Lahaska surroundings, even a fishing pond; all these and more make this a great getaway, and the lack of TV sets in rooms only complements the whole getaway idea. No reason to stay glued to a TV when there is so much to enjoy. If you need 5-star resort accommodations, look elsewhere. This is a family owned B&B and restaurant, down-to-earth and friendly owners and staff in a hilly-farmland-woods location. Just simple and honest, old but clean buildings and welcoming decor.

We went to a fundraiser last week Oct 2015 which included the dinner. The Hotel is beautiful and service was good. The food , pork tenderloin was very tough and we all agreed. Tried to cut it with a knife , even as thin as the cut was, it was tough. Im glad we had horduerves prior to the dinner and that was just ok. The portions are usually just tooooo much, but 2 thin slices tough pork, 4 string beans and a swirl of pollente really was skimpy. It was an embarrassment to have 150 people there for a fundraiser and be served with the above! Lovely place though. The warm apple cider was good .

Our daughter and now son-in-law had their wedding here on July 9th, 2016. Everyone of the staff helped make this a wonderful day but Tara and Gabriel were outstanding in their support and advice. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone wanting a wedding in the country. Everything was just as they said it would be, and despite threatening storms and then an actual downpour everything went ahead flawlessly. Great team effort with a beautiful day to remember.

I was at Hotel du Village to check it out as a potential wedding venue. Our tour guide was very pleasant and helpful. The space was beautiful even without foliage in the winter and is a great potential venue. The presentation was informative and all of our questions were answered. Renting the larger side of this venue is expensive, but would be great from anyone looking to have a farm/French wedding.

The restaurant was great however the room at the hotel was very disappointing. Mattresses were old and not comfortable, trace of humidity on the wall, no large towels available and a ridiculously bad breakfast even though the price was more than $ 150 per night. The people were friendly but the hotel need a major renovation. Yes for the restaurant but dont stay there overnight.

Fantastic venue. The service and staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and all around helpful! The location is a beautiful site that continues to offer different picturesque scenery as the seasons change. If planning a wedding, ask for the wedding coordinator, Tara. She is exceptional at building and providing truly memorable and wonderful experiences.

GORGEOUS VENUE, so excited to be having my wedding here this fall! Staff has been super accommodating so far and the hotel will be reopening in just a few months. The amount of thought and care that has been put into renovating this space is overwhelming. :-D :-D XOXOXOXOX SO EXCITED!!!!!

My daughter had her reception here this weekend. I cannot describe how amazing the staff was, and their attention to even little details. The hotel and the venue were gorgeous, the food was fantastic and I would highly recommend this place for any event!

This has been closed for several years with the promise that it will reopen. First as a wedding venue then as an inn again. It still has not happened. I will definitely miss the incredible restaurant and do hope the inn part will at least reopen.

I was there for a wedding. The food was great and the service was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The building has a nice charm and was very clean. The only negative was a broken toilet seat in one of the two available bathrooms

We went to the restaurant in February and were delighted with the food, ambiance and service. Last weekend, however, the bread was stale, the food mediocre and the service less than attentive. For the price very dissappointing....

This visit was to look for wedding venues. We have not chosen one yet but as far as looks and professionalism I was very impressed by the staff and wedding planner. If we decide to use this veneu I will add to this review

Very nice facility/hotel. Was there years ago for dinner. Stopped in recently and found out they dont have the restaurant any more. They just do large affairs like weddings. So I cant give a review on the food.

Stayed here as part of a wedding and really enjoyed the property. Staff was very nice and had plenty of room for an after party around the fire pit to spend more time with friends and family that were staying.

What a lovely venue. Many venues try to be both rustic and elegant, but very few pull it off. Hotel Du Village is a hidden gem, surrounded by serenade landscapes. Ideal for any event or weekend getaway!
