Having been to many different casinos including underground ones. This casino is one of the worst you could go to the Casino pays out 70 percent of all the revenue it collects. Anyone who understands gambling will know this is extremely low. If you do go to this casino out of pure curiosity like I did, please do not take much money. The games are extremely tight. The hotel rooms are very clean and comfortable and the food is moderately good. However the main reason anyone goes to a casino is to gamble, and this casino is locked tight. I recommend you walk around for at least 20 minutes and just watch people play like I did. This is one of the only casinos I have been to where 1 in 500 people was winning anything. What I mean by that is in most casinos if you make 3-4 dollar bets you win at least 3-4 dollars and thats just breaking even or you dont win at all. Here you bet 3-4 dollars you win 10 cents-30 cents per spin and the payouts are terrible all around. Just so people know I am not one to complain this is not a complaint, it is a warning. I believe in treating people right and this casino does not do it. I believe the payout is even lower then 70 its only 70 percent because of all the progressives this casino has and this casino has many progressives so the machines dont pay out until someone hits the progressives and this only happens 1 maybe 2 times a year per progressive. I do not recommend this casino to anyone if you are thinking about going somewhere I recommend just going to Corpus Christi TX, and just doing some coastal fishing. Or if you are thinking about going to a casino you cant do better then Win-Star. It is only an hours drive from the Dallas TX area, and the legal age to gamble in Oklahoma is 18 not 21. So you can take your 18-20 year old friends if you want to make a trip up their like I do this November. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff at Kickapoo the food and the hotel my only concern was the extremely tight game room. I did notice however the high limits room was paying out extremely better then the rest of the casino so if you do go to this casino do not mess around go straight into the high limits room thank you for taking the time to read this review please take what I say to heart before going here. Your better off buying lottery tickets then taking your money to Kickapoo they run off almost the same system that lottery tickets are other casinos dont do this its bad for business as the payouts suck and they have to compete with other casinos in the state. Since this is the only casino in Texas it has nothing to worry about and a few disgruntled gamblers I am sure dont matter to them. I am sure they read all the reviews but eventually it will catch up to them but I will continue telling all my friends and family not to go to this casino as long as I live. Or at least until they change the system the games are on.

Even though I know the slots arent the real deal, we decided to go there anyways. No this isnt like Vegas,Coushatta,Lake Charles or any other casino around Texas......why? Class II" slot machines!! (also known as "video lottery terminals" or "VLTs") are connected to a centralized computer system that determines the outcome of each wager. In this way, Class II slot machines mimic scratch-off lottery tickets in that each machine has an equal chance of winning a series of limited prizes. Either class of slot machines may or may not have a player skill element. Besides this casino not having all the slots you see in Vegas I still have to give them credit on having decent slots. One major gripe about this casino was the AC. It was 105 outside and about 85 in the casino. I was sweating inside the casino!!!! A lot of the slots wernt working or wouldnt take your money. Because it being so hot in there I didnt spend all but 3 hours and I only lost 50$...i was extremely lucky. I could not get use to a place like this. Also the people there hog 2 machines at the same time even though there are stickers on the slots saying that you cant do that at peak times!!.

The drive there was full of long roads but the hotel was a relief to see after traveling what seemed like forever down the last long road to arrive at the casino. Service was great in all aspects except for the players club staff that day. A woman helped me get signed up as I had never been to the casino. Her attitude showed me that I was a burden for bothering her. She was rude and wasnt much of a talker except for the questions she couldnt avoid asking me about my email and a phone number for the players card. After that, we walked around the casino. The older building was alright with plenty of slots and a bingo area but wasnt really in my interest. During my stay I found myself drawn to the newer side of the casino which had more slots and a few clubs and restaurants. Overall the experience was great, the hotel rooms were spacious and nice. I would definitely go back again but Ill try to avoid that one woman who seemed like she hated customers.

I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the Lucky Eagle. The rooms were large and roomy and very comfortable. No complaints from me about them. The casino was large and very spacious. The machines were spaced out nicely so that you were able to walk around without bumping into people and I was able to sit at a machine without people bumping into me. The food in the buffet was excellent. Prime rib was some of the best Ive eaten in a long time. Desserts were first class. The staff at the hotel and the casino were very nice and helpful. I cant say one negative thing about our accommodations or the casino. If there was any negative, its that it was a good way out of Eagle lake and I wish there were more signs directing the path. In spite of having printed out the route from the computer, it was difficult to navigate especially at night. If I didnt live so far away, Id definitely go back.

BETTY the supervisor at the hotel front desk IS THE REASON Im giving a 1 star. Mothers Day Floral Arrangement gone missing and BETTY is the only supervisor available to talk to! HORRIBLE experience dealing with her. She was very rude and would not let me talk, she kept yelling over me. She was trying to blame the flower shop saying that they put the wrong information on who it was supposed to go to. I called the flower shop to doublecheck and they told me clearly they had the correct information on the receipt that they had. Now what I think needs to happen is BETTY needs to be RETRIANED and learn how to deal with customers and if she cannot be patient with people she should NOT be any part of management. This hotel and casino is a WONDERFUL place to come and weve never had problems, but when you have someone like BETTY representing it thats NOT a good thing for them..
