It is a cool building which makes the atmosphere pretty sweet but that is where the good review stops. I was told the Jambalaya was great here, so Im not sure if it was an off night but I would say it was ok, especially for the price. The Flatbread Pizza was one step above frozen and their bear selection was mediocre. The waiter was just down right terrible, he completely ruined the experience. We had a good size party so his tip would have been nice but he failed. We talked about how slow he was, how he didn’t open his mouth to speak, how he didn’t refill drinks, how he didn’t do his job as a waiter. If I did my job as bad as he did I would be unemployed. I know waiting tables is not an easy job but a little effort goes a long way, especially when you are working for the tips. We won’t return.

Ive only been here twice. Once for happy hour and once for brunch. HH was decent - a litter nicer than the usual pub options in the Yunk. Appetizers were good but I dont think you can really mess up buffalo wings and nachos. The second time I went was for brunch. Ordered the Eggs Benedict which was pretty good - however, the fried potatoes placed as a side completely ruined my experience! I have never had potatoes that tasted this horrible - dense fried cubes that absorbed so much oil it tasted as if it was double fried. I would have rather gotten fast food fries! I just didnt expect such a low quality product from a place I considered to be of higher caliber than the standard in the Yunk. I guess I would be willing to give this place another try - not likely for brunch though.

Honestly my experience was a real downer. I came here with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday and it just did not live up to expectations. Our waitress wasnt very friendly, but that wasnt that big of a deal. My major issues were the fact that two people at my table ordered the same thing and the portion sizes were COMPLETELY different. The worst part of the night was dessert. The waitress brought out a birthday dessert for me, which was never asked for, and charged me for it. $6 bucks isnt a big deal, but I didnt even request dessert. If youre gonna bring something out that isnt asked for you shouldnt charge for it. Definitely will not be coming back here.

The wife and I were in town for a cousins wedding and decided to stop here after the rehearsal dinner for a quick drink. On a Friday night it wasnt too crowded but the atmosphere is lively with live music and stuff going on. We were a group of five and just wanted a little something so we ordered calamari, artichoke dip and Cheesesteak egg rolls. That was plenty of food for the five of us. Which ordered cocktails I had the Black Cherry Collins and wine a rita. The wife had the Sparkly Pear. All the drinks were very creative and quite good. The food and drinks were good and the atmosphere was fun. Overall Bourbon Blue is a cool spot to hang out.

I was having a great time until I saw a mouse run across the floor - after I had already paid and my uber was outside. I have NEVER seen a rodent in a restaurant; thats not to say its the only place ever to have them but I certainly have never witnessed them with my own two. The restaurant was pretty quiet - Tuesday night. We were the only people in the dining area after a group of two left. We sat in the corner, and the mouse probably thought it had the entire place to itself. I do not recommend, and I will not return.

I ordered some soup for delivery. over one hour later there was no food delivered. I called the restaurant, found out delivery was never attempted, even though it was marked for delivery. Apparently this restaurant just lets food sit and doesnt follow up on the orders. I wonder if they were ever going to call me to figure it out... Receptionist didnt even make an attempt to correct the mistake in any way. Indifference would be the best way to describe it.

Went here for brunch. Seemed like a cool place in the middle of Manayunk and Im sure its a fun bar scene but do not go for the food. They do have some authentic cajun menu items, but the execution and service were abysmal. Menu descriptions were misleading and special requests were ignored. We had a fly in our water and asked for another glass, the second glass we received had debris in it. If I could give this zero stars I would.

I love this place! As a wing connoisseur, who grew up in New York state and went to school near Buffalo, Id say these wings take the cake in Manayunk. I dont think they get much better than here. Its a total college bar, so expect large crowds on the weekends, especially if theres a game on. However, if you can get a table, the drink specials are awesome and you cant beat the food! Easily one of my favorite spots in Manayunk.

Great place! Ive dined here for brunch, happy hour and dinner. Ive also held two events here in the private dining space. The private dining space is intimate and has a cozy, rustic look and feel. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the food and drinks are very good. Melissa is wonderful to work with and has gone above and beyond to make my events special. I would highly recommend this restaurant, you wont regret it.

Excellent food, excellent service, excellent venue! What more can you ask for? The food was pricey, as is expected for this type of restaurant and this area. It was no more expensive than any of the other comparable places, and the food was more enjoyable. The waitress was as pleasant and attentive as could be and the manager stopped by our table several times to make sure everything was good. We would definitely go back!

Had some of the best food Ive ever eaten, Jambalaya is one of my favorite dishes, and they do it right, nice and spicy with dirty rice! The filet mignon tips for an appetizer may have been the best steak I have ever tasted. Very juicy, and had tons of flavor! The only drawback, is that my Jambalaya was $20 which is a little expensive, but worth for indulging once in awhile.

Everything, I love variety. I sometimes want one pancake , one piece of French toast , and just one egg .... Not two but one. Not a problem at bourbon blue, not to mention the Make Youre own bloody Mary bar makes you feel like a kid at a candy store. To top it off the staff is extremely enjoyable to talk to as the ower Mel makes sure all is well. Jimmy

I had my sisters Bridal shower here this past weekend and I was very pleased. Melissa was very attentive and accomodating as were the staff members that serviced us. The food (especially the dressing for the Caesar dressing) was amazing. The space was very intimate and worked very well for our needs. I will hope to use their services again one day!

Very expensive, very small portions, expensive drinks. Paid 9 bucks for calamari and only got about 10 very small pieces. Also paid 8 bucks for a awful drink they call an orange julep. The meal cost 17.50 plus tax and 20% tip and only got a small crab cake and some fries. they have New York prices and terrible portion sizes. Never going again.
