I took my daughter to see Big Hero. When the movie started they didnt turn off the lights, so i went out to the lobby for help. The staff was just sitting around doing nothing. I told them and the lights went out 5 minutes into the movie. When the movie was over, they didnt turn on the lights so everyone could see to gather up their things and children. So again I went out to the lobby for help. And again the staff was just sitting around doing nothing. I said to the staff that they should get up and do their job, I got dirty looks. I then told the female manager about this and with a nasty attitude defended her lazy, smart phone addicted employees. They could use a lesson in customer service.

Ive been to this theater before and have no problem but this experience was one this after another. First all the movie times were wrong on multiple websites and the phone line and when the staff was questioned about it by multiple family they finally got a manger. Once she(the manager) was unpleasant and rude. She said it was not her problem that people were looking on the wrong sites. Then after waiting for over an hour to finally see a different film than intended the picture is all pink and green. I was told thats just how the movie is, which I highly doubt that. So I will now be driving an extra half hour to go to a different theater that is more reliable.

I dont know what these people are complaining about. All movie theater food is overpriced. When you use the Groupon for $6 you can see a movie & get a small popcorn. So who minds spending a few bucks for a drink? Some people ALWAYS find the bad in things. So sad for them! :( The theater & restrooms are always clean, seats are very comfortable & the teenagers that work there are always polite to my family. Never had any problems whatsoever. Close to home, new releases shown & great price. Whats not to like? I give it a thumbs up. Wish more family entertainment would come to our area!

Just a nice small movie theater; all these bad comments are ridiculous; all movie theaters have pricey food, the staff is just normal teenage kids, the sometimes ask to take your bag to hold until you get out because people sneak in candy from the dollar store nearby often but its not some big movie theater so it really doesnt matter, the theater has plenty of room for the number of people that go, and the Milford/Matamoras area has needed a movie theater for years since the drive in closed ages ago. This one is just fine for the area.

This place is horrible. I have given it multiple chances and always leave upset. The staff is terrible, and rude, as is the owner. You van hear the movie located next to your movie. Is always filled with loud obnoxious people carrying on through thew movie. Also the movie times listed on the web are different then the actual movie times. You must have their exclusive site on hand. Just terrible all around. Last week I could barely hear my movie over the crowd and neighboring screenings. Once again the manager is a nightmare.

For going to the movies its fine, but it probably wont be memorable. Everyone says the snacks are overpriced, this is factual. I get the same thing from the snack counter whenever I go to any theater, and at this place it cost $8 as opposed to the $5 I pay elsewhere. The theaters range from crappy and small to huge and fancy, it depends how popular the movie is. I dont think its right to bash the staff too much since theyre all teenagers, you can bash the person who hired/trained them though.

Not sure of all the complaints here. I frequent this movie theatre at least 4-5 times a month. Its a nice movie theatre. I have never had an issue with any of the staff here.My bag was also searched but whatever.....if you dont have anything to hide I dont see a problem with it. You should form your own opinion & go experience it for yourself. They also have GROUPONS that they offer. What other movie theatre can you go to and receive a small popcorn & movie ticket for $6???

I have no complaint about the staff but last night my husband and I arrived for a 7:00 show and we had to sit through 30 min of commercials. It was torture especially that alot of the commercials were repeated. My husband was so annoyed he went out to complain and was told it was out of their control. I think it is ridiculous to sit through so many commercials. That is not what I want to do when going to see a movie., especially what the price of a movie ticket costs

Food and drink are way overpriced. Yes, all movie theaters are overpriced, but this one is way too high - especially for where it is. Theaters are too small, and while they have high back seats, the floor is not slopped well enough to compensate for them. A shorter person will have problems seeing over the chair in front of them. Staff is all teenagers who really dont seem to care about being there at all. I cant say I blame them.

This movie theater is 5 stars! I would DEFINITELY look forward to going to this theater. The popcorn is DELICIOUS, but there under new management which I think was one of the worst decisions the theater could ever make. The kids cant even play games because they took them all away! But it is still worth going to see a GREAT movie, and having the time of your lives!

this place is the best theater in the area. All movie food is over priced, but at least there are free refills. The staff was nice. they checked my wifes bag to see if we were sneaking any food in, which was no big deal we have nothing to hide, and your not supposed to do that anyway!!! Its a lot better than going to Middletown to the mall for sure.

Theater rooms are tiny with VERY poor sitting to get surround sound. Food is very high priced and they run out of some food items even on a Friday night. I travel for work and this was one of the worst theaters I have visited in 15 years. The only reason I would think people would want to go is you have 20 miles to drive to get to a better one.

Everything is fine besides cleanliness. So disgusting. In the theater there is garbage everywhere. But the bathrooms are terrible. I was there last Thursday and there was dirt and old waste in the back stalls. I came a again on Tuesday and it was the same. No one cleans its disgusting. My friends n family have been going to majestic for years. They always have the new releases, its clean, the attendants are very nice n polite and, the bathrooms n movie rooms are clean. The prices are reasonable n its minutes from home. After a movie n dinner, I can go shopping in the nearby stores. Lots of parking too. I love it!

All movie theaters food is expensive its how they stay open. It is the only other way they can make money. The place is pretty clean and I never had any issues here. Its great I dont have to drive all the way to Middletown to watch a movie. I would definatly recommend this theater. Decent amount of movies playing as well.
