Awful. Tickets are more expensive than Scranton, the theater was freezing, bathroom was freezing, toilets didnt flush and the floor was all wet. The theater was very small and the seats do not ascend so your neck will hurt from looking up. There is little to no leg room so the seating is very uncomfortable. Possibly due to no floor carpet, all i could hear for the first hour of the movie was peoples candy wrappers crinkling - very annoying. it was louder than the actual movie which had a lot of talking at the beginning that you needed to hear for anything to make sense. bottom line - this was my last visit to cinema 6.

Very rude, they check your bag to see if you have any outside food, such snack nazis. My wife couldnt bring her purse in because it had "outside gum and candy". Give me a break my wife only had tic-tacs and just a few sticks of gum and they made us put her purse in our car which was bad because she had a sore throat that evening and her cough drops were in it. Even though we bought popcorn and soda from them they still checked her purse and made a big deal out of tic-tacs, a few sticks of gum and cough drops. All I gotta say is dont go there unless you want your bag searched like at the airport.

Had a very disappointing experience. During the trailers one of the speakers stopped working and just started emitting static. When the movie started we couldnt hear any of the characters on the screen talking over the nouse of static and background music. My boyfriend went and spoke to someone about how the speaker was broken, but they never fixed it. The whole movie we heard hardly any dialogue and mostly static. Actually, that was a lie. At about 3 minutes left of the movie, the speaker started working again. So luckily, I could hear the credit music very clearly.

Hello everyone. I am from Honesdale Cinema 6 and Im here to announce that we are under new ownership. We are doing everthing in our power to make our theater a more enjoyable place to visit. We would like to appoligize for the reputation this theater has from before our ownership. Cinema 6 has new workers in the box office and the concession. We are planing on purchasing new seats, equipment, and some change in interior decor, but we need your help to do this. Please take a stop down and see what what we have to offer.

What a wonderful change. First visit under the new ownership to see John Carter. Staff (especially at the concession stand) was was very nice and pleasant and the man in the booth even found a customer inside to return an overpayment at the booth. Spotlessly clean and, to my immense surprise, the butter on the popcorn seemed REAL! That would be a first in many years of seeing films. Ill certainly be spending more time at this theater than I have in the past.

You couldnt pay me to go back to this theatre. First, the popcorn was so horrible that I threw it away. Just to make sure I wasnt being picky, I had the rest of my family taste it and we all agreed. Secondly, the seats are not staggered and the floor is barely inclined so the ladys head in front of me covered the left 1/3 of the screen. Literally. Im not exaggerating. It was so bad I took a picture. I dont blame the theatre that the movie was awful as well.

They cancel scheduled show times. I had to drive almost 1 hour to this theater just to learn that their equipment was broken for 12:30 3D Kids movie. Never again I will go this theather! Btw, even if one calls in advance or check the web site - there will be no information that move is canceled!!!

Its a nice home town theater... Its actually rather cheap compared to other theaters in the county. Since theyve gotten a new owner the theater has been getting steadily better, with everything from better seats, food, and sound control. I reccommend if your int he area!

Old theater, packs you in like sardines in older, uncomfortable sears. Hot in theater this past weekend. Stay away on very hot days. middle aged guy taking tickets not friendly when we were there. I will drive further to find a better place in future.

So much room and wasnt sold out. Only problem was no one showed up at the ticket office so we yelled for someone for 4 minutes. But easy to get snacks. Has a little bit of an older feeling but not old fashion. Just like 2000 era movie theater.

When you walk into the theater you pretty much stick to the floor. Is moping so much to ask? Anyway the picture sucks, you are better off sitting on the sticky floor rather than the seats, the popcorn is from the 1980s, and i payed $8 for this?

I went here with my kids in my normal pirate attire, planning to have a good time. But then one of the employees pointed at a sign that said "no pirates". I was then shot multiple times in the chest. But the kids had fun.

While its not an upscale theater, the staff take extra care to make sure have a good time there and if problems arise they often give you free popcorn or soda. I love going here, best small town theater around.

Very nice movie theater. My to go place when Im at Honesdale. Seats could use an update, they are old but the place is clean, sound and image are good, prices are in the cheap side, I cant really complain.

Free Fresh Popcorn Refills with Real Butter made by in house! Quiet clean. Do not come late you will not get a chance to see what you missed. Movie times are limited. We are good with that.

Average theater, smallish, but it works. They are big on inspecting your bags for food and candy, so either hide it well or buy it at their concession stand.

Its very old fashioned and dirty, but in this area it is the only choice you have that does involve you driving 30-45 minutes away.
