I grew up playing this course as a kid in the 60s and still hold it dear in my heart. Played it for 50 cents back then. It was not much but still challenged us kids pretty well. Used to hit off mats when teeing off. Not much has changed but the second hole lost a HUGE tree to the front and right of the green. Made the hole tougher. 3 years ago at age 59 I shot even par here for the very first time ever. Its a goat track for sure....but a special one for me and lots of city kids from Oak Park and Austin in the 60s !!

Beautiful course but manager has an bad attitude. One day We played and my buddie had to leave After becoming dehydrated half way thrrough the course, because there was no water on the course. When I spoke with the manager about it she replied I can sell you a bottle water now if you like. As if she was more concern about making money then her customers well being.

Hey, im not saying this is the best course in chicago or in the world. In the year of 2016 the summer, it was a fabolus course, the greens were perfect,i thought they could improve on the fair way but for me it was easy to make a divot. Rough is easy to find a ball in and there are absolutley no mosqitous. Fun course to play.

The fairway was like concrete. I would almost avoid it due to the risk of a risk injury when taking (attempting to) a divot. Greens were inconsistent and I couldnt stay within a good range with my puts. Really hurt my score. Very cheap but not good

If you enjoy playing on hardpan, then this is the place for you. Yeah it may only be 11 bucks to play, but your body will pay for it dearly. Almost impossible to take a divot! Greens were just okay.
