We have lived in north of the town for 33 years and have been to the theater lots of times. We love it cause its cheap, good food, close to home and have never been disappointed in any of those things. The only negative are the rest rooms being down a long flight of stairs and I have disabilities walking a distance and with a cane and sometimes a walker. But the people are friendly and I love taking my great granddaughter.

The Hamburg Strand is a great little movie theater in the heart of quaint downtown Hamburg. Ive rented the facility several times and have gone to watch movies with my wife and family. We love it. It sure beats the impersonal modern theaters. It brings back the old time charm of going to see a movie.

This place was great. A little run down in the actual building but GREAT prices and service. Ten dollars for my son and I to go and a roadrunner cartoon before the trailers! If I didnt live two hours away, I would make this my regular place. I just might anyway!
