We took our 4-year-old son there for his birthday, along with our 1-year-old daughter. Here are the complaints we had for our visit: 1) The price was too high for the limitations we had. Our Son is under the 42 inches, so the slides he could ride on we were told we couldnt go on! So he was limited to the section for babies/toddlers (I think it was under 36 inches), the lazy river, or the family whirlpool, and maybe the frog pond - which was closed the entire time. Im not sure why we were told we couldnt go down the smaller slides since the only explanation we received was “it’s the rules.” - So youd have me send my 4-year-old down a slide while I have to run back down to the bottom to get him??? 2) Since our daughter is 1, she stayed in the baby section the majority of the time. This section was closed for 35 minutes because (we were told) another child urinated in the water. ??? I used to work at a YMCA so I am familiar with the CDC recommendations for "waste" in a pool. I suspect that the staff are either not aware of the actual recommendations or it was a BM in the pool - which the CDC recommendation is closure of the pool for 30 minutes after removing the solid BM (which I did not see). Also - While waiting for this section to re-open, one of the "lifeguards" was spitting in the water as he was pacing back and forth. While this may not be a sanitary concern its incredibly unprofessional and Im not sure why this type of behavior is tolerated. PS – Saliva contains more bacteria (microorganisms) than urine (which is sterile). 3) The attitude and professionalism of the "lifeguards" was terrible. For the price you have to pay - customers should be treated with courtesy and respect. I saw a "lifeguard" swinging a stick around like a baton while pacing around, spitting in the pool, others laughing and not paying attention, and not explaining the "rules". And while I was trying to get my son situated on a tube at the lazy river, I was "whistled" at twice and told I couldnt walk the river - which is fine - I just needed more than 10 seconds to get him situated before getting into a tube myself. It wasnt even busy when we were there, so I have no idea why we were getting so much attitude. (September 1st 6pm-8pm). It was pretty obvious that these employees did not want to be there. This was the worst customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. You couldn’t even ask any questions without being met with sarcasm or attitude. The kids had a good time, which is why I rated it 2 stars but I would honestly not go here again. And I wouldnt recommend this for children in that age range 3-6. I cant believe we paid full price for two adults who didnt even get wet above the knees. There should be more options for people who cannot (or who are told they arent allowed to) go on any slides

My experience here was awful. We went on 3/11/2016. It took at least 15 minutes to pay to get in. The male at the front desk was charging me extra and I proceeded to try to show him how he was charging me extra and he was not opened to here how. I was trying to explain how he was incorrectly charging me. I proceeded to pay because I felt like he wasnt listening and I did not want to argue. As soon as we walked through the doors the fumes were very potent, it wasnt long after until my eyes started watering. I was tempted to walk out and leave but I unfortunately would have upset the children. An hour into our playtime I had to take my daughter upstairs in the gift/arcade/hotel area so I and her could breath some fresh air. As we were walking around for an hour half or more and until she finally fell asleep a worker did ask if I needed any assistance. I nicely said no but did inform her why I was up top walking around. She said oh Im sorry then softly shrugged it off and didnt not offer a solution the response I got was "well when some people are feeling well they sometimes get and are sensitive to the fumes here". I didnt know what to say at that point so I just continued taking care of my child. By the time we got home I could not place a call into the park since it was closed. I called first thing the next morning and explained to another manger my experience, she did go over the transaction and had to go over the video footage. She was polite and potentially tried working with me. She did say the worker that day did seem to charge me more than I should have been and that he was misunderstanding me. I paid in cash so she was kind enough to send me a gift card for the mistake on his behalf but I politely told her I would never be able to visit the park again due to the fumes and I once again told her what had happened and her response "I am sorry but our park was running up to par that day and unfortunately since we didnt get your wristbands that day Im unable to do anything". I guess in the end I should have yelled that day and argued some more for them to do something but I was just trying to be polite. I will never visit this establishment again and I would never recommend it. Ive been to a lot of waterworks through out the United States and this one is by farthest one the worst. I live in Boulder Colorado and I come back to visit my family with my child in Pennsylvania.

This was my first experience at an indoor water park. My family tried to talk me out of it saying its more for kids but we decided to still check it out. We had a nice time. The water park has about 7 or 8 water slides and they are fast and extremely fun (unlike Sandcastle) There were both body slides and tube slides. I will admit, the body slides HURT! the edges inside scratch your back the entire way down.. we started to avoid those slides. Other things to do here: wave pool which was fun but had pretty weak waves. Also, it was roped off at 4.5 feet which was a bummer : They also have a kids/family hot tub & a 21+ hot tub.. loved the adult one. It closed off and so peaceful. Splash lagoon also has a ropes course (extra $) and the infamous aqua tumbler (also extra). They also have a pretty cool arcade and a few restaurants & bars. We ordered a long island at the wave pool bar (Soggy Dollar Bar) and it was strong. The lazy river was relaxing and you cant forget that giant Tiki Bucket that drops water on you :) i cannot comment on the food because we left and had a picnic lunch on the beach. you can re-enter splash lagoon all day as long as you have your wrist band. I really liked that. We did the rides, left for lunch, came back and enjoyed the rides again then left and came back. It made it more exciting to come back rather than being there for 12 hours. I do however feel that for the number of attractions, its a little pricy. Its $40 for adult which may seem fine, but add a family of 5 and youre looking at a pretty big price tag. Splash Lagoon offers promos sometimes... for instance sometimes they have "Carload Tuesday" which means up to 6 people can get in for $120 ($20 a person) I would take advantage of the promos. Be sure to check the website because it isnt always offered. One thing i do want to note, everyone working here was very friendly. Lifeguards were alert and always aware which may seem obvious for a life guarding job, but the ones watching the lazy river and wave pool have to pace back and forth for hours to keep an eye on the entire section. They didnt mind and very happy & friendly. All of the lifeguards on the slides gave us a smile and "see you soon" before heading down the slide. It was a nice touch rather than cranky workers.
