My first time here with my 5 year old son and we went 2 days in a row... We only went on rides in the snoopy area. Some people think they are soooo smart.... they have one adult stand in line ALONE Then another adult walks the kids over after getting off another ride and walk right up to the adult whos been standing in line by themself.... Meaning they are jumping the line which of coarse is not allowed. This happened MULTIPLE (MO lie more than 30 times plus more than 1 child cutting, usually between 3 and 5 children just walking on by per time) I litterally tried to physically stop children from walking past me and my child. Once I stuck out my leg and asked them where they were going, 4 of them, the solo father was like theyre coming up here with me!!! I said oh no they are not! If you want them you need to come back here and get them because you are not cutting us. His wife comes over and we get into a screaming match and the ride attendent does NOTHING. I tell her shes ADDMITTING TO IT and I got a couple of other riders to say that they cut them too and she just shrugs her 17 year old shoulders. Another time the same thing. I ask the children to please not cut us in line. The father is about 30 people on front of us. The man behind me had the nerve to say , awww come on! They are just babies!!! I said this is MY BABY and hes been standing patiently on line for 30 minutes. One little girl dips past me and the stranger picks up the other girl, walks around the metal fence to the father and hands the child over. Im screaming at the ride attendent to look at the line jumpers and to call security but again they do nothing. Dorney park I am telling you right now.... The next time someone cuts me in line and your ride attendent does not tell them to get in the back or if security isnt called to eject them from the park I will hop whatever fence I need to and prevent the ride from operating until you get the line jumpers the hell under control. I would never cut in line and after the trash is taken out I will rejoin my place in line and continue to wait for our turn to ride. I paid my money. My 5 year old and I have waited parienty in line. You need to get your animalistic trashy clientele under control before someone gets in a violent altercation and injuries are incurred. I shouldnt have to worry about getting into a fight with some idiot who breaks the rules and my son and I dont deserve to be disrespected and have our waits be longer because of your poorly trained staff and lack of security to enforce the rules of no line jumping. We are ALL there for the same reason. To stand in line to go on rides. Who in the heck do these people think they are to cut people in line??? It is infuriating. Everybody has to wait and I WILL NOT ALLOW IT TO HAPPEN TO US AGAIN. I will quietly and peacefully protest the line jumpers be sent to the back of the line or ejected by simply sitting in an area that will prohibit the ride from functioning. And you better not have the NERVE to throw ME out for wanting justice to stop the line jumpers..... Hire a ride operator or 2 and a Seperate postion where someone monitors the line constantly to keep the park safe and fair. Not just adult rides either. Snoopy world need it desperately too. Civilized patrons should not allow these savages to get away with line jumping. I was shocked I was the only one trying to stop it. People need to stand up to these morons and not let them take advantage of you and your families

We went yesterday on a group bus ride for my nephews birthday, it wasnt overly crowed which was great but there were some downfalls that chalks this rating up to a 3. 1. The lockers are gravely overpriced... $25 for a standard, $35 for a large and $50 for a jumbo. Dont be fooled or waste your money, I got the large and it was the size of a standard cube shaped locker used at gyms; if you had a duffle bag or oversized bag (like most women who travel with kids carry) and 2 pairs of sneakers or other footwear than my friends you have filled this "large locker" to capacity. 2. Parkside Pavilion "All you can eat buffet", we purchased this "lovely culinary package in addition to the food court vouchers, water/soda bottles and game booklet vouchers" (no expenses spared to celebrated his birthday). Heres how this SummerFest reads: Summer Culinary Series Lineup: PITMASTERS RIBFEST July 8-9 Celebrate summer the All American way with All You Can Eat Ribs with a variety of homemade BBQ sauces! Menu includes pork ribs, hamburgers, hot dogs and more! Heres what you really get. BBQ and plain Ribs...no variety of homemade BBQ sauces, frozen cook hamburger patties, hot dogs and the "more" consisted of baked beans, potato salad, raw red onions, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, cornbread, salad dressing. and watermelon. The lovely added addition to this is the hot metal tongs to grab the food, this information of the tong being too hot to handle was told to a worker by anotger patron and the workers response to the lady was "you could use a napkin to pick up the food", I had to nicely explain customer service to the young worker, how to speak to people and how to solve a problem as well as point out to her that young children are also handling the tongs and if its too hot for me aa an adult to handle then it would be extremely hot to their little hands...I spoke with a supervisor who switched the tongs out for the longer handle ones, was this a solution yes and no...yes, it was temporary fix and no, theyll get hot again; permanent fix would be to get the ones with heat resistant rubber handles. Sadly these workers were not wearing name tags. 3. The Ice Cream shop. It says "Turkey Hill Ice Cream" (soft served). I eat Turkey Hill Ice Cream and this it is not, what this is Ice Milk (tasted and "melted" like Ice Milk...which is one step away from being Fro Yo. There was nothing creamy about this concoction which I paid a total of $6.43 (including $.99 for sprinkles). I know the different textures and taste of my cold treats. As far as everything else, overpriced food, overprized gift shop, toys and overpriced games for $2-5 prizes, thats the old carnival shim-sham; thats all amusment parks. So based on these boosted, some falsely advertised products and bad customer service experience Dorney Park gets 3 stars.

Entrance - Four dif lines to go through (or three for pass holders): Parking, Metal Detector, Ticket and Entrance Line. This can range from a couple of minutes to more than half an hour all together. The more people the more time everything takes. This past Sunday we were in line for almost an hour getting a friend pass. Def buy the day before cause usually the same day it might not be available. Wild Water Kingdom - We had plenty to do, especially my kids. DP&WWK provide life jackets and wrist bands with kids height restrictions. I always go to water works cause its very hands on. WWK now has access lifts for handicap in certain areas of the park, happy to see that. When ready to leave there are two changing room areas and one shower area. I would not recommend going barefoot, especially the bathroom/changing area. Plenty of food choices. Also, a possible line. Dorney Park - Just like WWK there are many family rides and even an area just directed towards kids which parents can join them too. Live Entertainment, on a schedule though. Plenty of food options throughout. Food - Majority of locations just have fries on the side. So def look at the Dining Plan list. I recommend the Smokehouse BBQ. You will always have access to drinking water, you can ask for a cup of water. We enjoyed the buffet this year. It was really good and fresh. $$ - If you are going to come a lot Season Pass has its benefits ie discounts (A lot of discounts), special events, early access (get that seat in WWK). If you want to play games for prizes, I always purchase (its more of an exchange) the save and play booklet, theres a lot of benefits (coupons to use in the back). Cotton candy bucket is a refill of 99C for either popcorn or cotton candy for the season. Then you have food and drink plans. Leaving - You can get a stamp to come back in that day. Exiting the park has three ways, mostly. If you are going to 78 any way is fine. More direct is going through the top. If you are taking Hamilton St towards Allentown/22 take the bottom exits to get to the light. In the end we always enjoy ourselves and there is a lot to do. I gave four stars due to customer service. Its really, REALLY lacking.
