my experience here was so wonderful!!! Im an out of towner and it was a rainy day in Erie, so we decided to see a MOVIE. we got there with such ease and recognized the building as a movie theater immediately. Half the billboard was missing but maybe theyll fix that eventually. The TICKET man was pleasant and wise. He didnt judge our movie choice and told us to enjoy. We walked in and decided to go right past the CONCESSIONS after asking if they were serving Bad Ass Kabobs today. They were NOT. this depressed us, but not enough to lose a star. I agree with my fellow reviewers(@KBen & @dancoleman) about the amount of commercials. it was QUITE excessive but that is OKAY. Now lets talk about the overall day. The movie made me cry and i felt judged by staff a bit as I walked out. but AGAIN. NOT ENOUGH TO LOSE A STAR!!! Also, a random man walked up and down the steps in my theater in the middle of the show too K Ben!!! Maybe we were in the same one? That would be cool. Lets be friends. HMU. Sorry guys back to the review.... but yeah I felt judged so I ran to the bathroom. I went in the stall closest to the changing table and I felt the toilet was a bit high. I had to jump up onto it. There was also a woman peeing like a racehorse next to me and it made me a bit jittery. I politely asked her to stop and she just ignored me. I waited for her to walk out of the stall so I could kindly tell her in person that she needs to empty her bladder more often. she ended up being an employee and wasnt very happy with me. but if youre seeing this, know that I FORGIVE YOU DEBORA!!!

Sooooooo great! Loved the comfy chairs and the prices were so reasonable!!! A little rough on the outside but super clean and classy on the inside. But let me go back to the chairs for a second... These chairs were da bomb. Im talking soft faux leather, slight rocking, and so much cushion. Seriously da bomb. This theatre will not let you down . One thing, smells kinda like a doctors office but not enough to loose a star. In fact, it gained a star. Youll enjoy it, just the right amount. Didnt get a chance to stop at the concessions but I didnt see anyone with kabobs like one fellow reviewer had said theyd like, sorry bud. I totally agree but I guess nobodys perfect. There are quite a few commercials, more than usual but I guess you gotta put up with crap for something decent nowadays. As far as the staff go, didnt have much interaction. Our ticket booth employee was chill. He seemed like the kind of guy that would just be super chil to backpack across Europe with. I mean how many people would do that? Certainly not my mom. So basically what in trying to say is the staff was chill without being sucky. One little thing before I wrap up here: one worker walked all the way up and down the stairs in the middle of the movie- wtf? To you other reviewers out there, stop your bitching about this is the only theatre. Like seriously this is one of the chilliest/comfiest/acceptable theaters Ive been to in quite a while so who cares if its the only one. Bathrooms were subpar.

I gave this theater three stars ONLY because it is the ONLY theatre in the ridiculous burg of Erie PA. Not the theaters fault true, but an objective review ought reference a rating t I other such entities, implicitly or explicitly. Erie is a one horse town so it fits having a single theater. As for Cinemark out there - way out there - on Peach Street, it is a fine theater. I am referring to the theater seating, screens, decor, restrooms, parking, layout: Excellent. The prices at the well stocked food vendor are OUTRAGEOUS! Whether or not the employees will permit customers to smuggle in there own food and drinks I dont know, but typically theaters nowadays dont allow that practice. Ive enjoyed many movies at Cinemark Erie and can testify that the viewing rooms are comfortable and clean. The audio is good quality sound which always enhances the video. Overall this is a great theater, just dont go to see a movie while you are hungary.

I was in theatre 8 and a couple of the seats are broken but all in all it was an enjoyable experience. I was there to see The Lost City of Z, It had to be an awesome movie because Charlie Hunnam is in it, and Robert Pattinson from "Twilight". They are explorers together. Both so very good actors that they made the characters believable Its not my type of movie so I probably wouldnt have went to see it, but ITS CHARLIE. at $3.99 for a senior ticket its well worth the cost. (Id have paid tons more) my only complaint was the "commericals" you have to sit through before the movie starts. Its ok to have previews of coming movies, but not interested it Coca-Cola or whats on tv stations. Oh and I did not see or get any bedbug bites like everyone was talking about. Cinemark is still the best show in town.

The TINSELTOWN CINEPLEX is a VERY NICE, CLEAN, ATMOSPHERIC & COMFORTABLE Theatre. The Dolby Sound System is perfect & the seats are VERY COMFY & RELAXING. The Big-Screen commercials are IRRITATING & OBNOXIOUS tho!! You see these MORONIC 30 & 60 second spots at home on TV where YOU CAN change the Channel, but at TINSELTOWN you dont have that option!! The delicious scent of popcorn hovers above & that reminds me of other great visits!! Each movie auditorium has great views & each 1 is VERY CLEAN! The staff should be PROUD of their hard work & they arent afraid to SMILE & Say HELLO!! TINSELTOWN is a totally ENJOYABLE VISIT & you definetly want to go back again & again!!

Dont go on a Friday night its very crowded and we went on a date night Tuesday and kind of stunk because we could hardly hear the movie there was a young minor kids in their pop and chip bags and that day and just didnt go well at all it kind of stunk we couldnt hardly watch the movie because it was really loud in there minor kids work kicking a chair and theyre being obnoxious their parent or parents werent watching them very good like a fifty fifty percent chance you get to watch a good movie however the parents need to keep their children under control so it can go a lot smoother and you can hear the movie and not disrupt the other patrons

ZERO STARS. (if that was possible) Just drove 30 minutes across town to go to see The Conjuring 2. Already had family in the theatre. 3 of us are well over the age of 21 and one of us didnt have an ID so they would not let us get him a ticket. Even if he WASNT old enough to see this film, we have three guardians that are allowing him to watch it anyway. I was very kind and patient and even had to talk to a manager who also told me i could not buy him a ticket. This was outrageous.

Very nice place and one of my cousins works here and he really likes his job! The staff are very nice but sometimes they will be popcorn on the floor but it is what you would expect in any movie theater. The movie theaters are ok, like I said what you expect in a movie theater but the screen is pretty good! When I saw a movie in 3D it looked pretty good! The arcade games are also pretty good to! The popcorn also tastes really good! Hope you guys never close! :)
