BEWARE OF SHORT CHANGE AND PARKING GARAGE THEIFS!! Regency in down Stockton was not very good. Yes, Stockton is a Ghetto as you can get. First off the girl that we bought our tickets from short changed me $14.00. When I whent to buy popcorn I realized she had shorted me. When I whent to question her she seen me walking up and said "I shorted some $14.00" Instead of chasing me down to give me my money. She was obviuosly waiting to see if I would come back. Count your money before leaving the window. To top my afternoon off when I got back to my vehicle that we parked in the Free" parking at Hunter and Sutter we found our vehicle had been broken into and cleaned out of about 800.00 worth of items. Everything you read and hear about Stockton is true. Trash and Ghetto!!!!

This place was just ok. I dont know what it is about the employees here, the line to the concession is always long and the waiting is long as well. The restrooms are usually messy and in need of help. The theater seats them selves have a stench to them that hits you as soon as you walk in to watch your movie. Other than that the theater is pretty big. I like it because its close to home. Usually, i go there early in order to avoid a crowd and to be able to walk around the water front after my movie.

The place is clean and well staffed. Seats are comfy. They sell beer. Ticket-sellers require attendees to pick assigned seats, which double the time it takes to pay for a ticket and move on. Refreshment lines are long and snacks and drinks are exorbitantly overpriced. The theater forces paid ticket holders to watch 20, 30 minutes of movie trailers, commercials and just time-wasting run of the mill mindless nonsense before the feature finally rolls. Bleah. Dislike. Just run the damned movie.

Lets just say that after seeing several not nice looking people roaming around the parking lot staring at me shamelessly, and then seeing a car that had been broken in to (the little back side window was broken), I decided to get my money back for the parking and go home instead of seeing Guardians of the Galaxy in IMAX. If youre going to go see Avengers 2 here, make sure to borrow a ghetto car, and leave nothing in it. Stockton is the worst.

honestly all the reviews about it being nasty and ghetto and trash are really irritating. they are most likely from some older non-poc who had one bad experience there and decided the whole city is terrible. yes, there are some bad parts of Stockton but this movie theater is not one of them. families can always go here and have a great time. stop talking down on Stockton because of what its reputation has been in the past.

Love the new big black leather reclining seats. The new sitting placement are much more spacious all around, makes for a better movie experience. No matter what seat youre in youll have a great view of the screen. Every seat is the best seat in the house!! Theaters with old fabric spring seats just dont compare. Regal Cinemas at the City Center in Stockton is always my first choice just like catch a flick...

I love taking my girls here for movies, and the new custom recliners are awesome and very comfortable. I just wish the popcorn,sodas and treats were not so CrAzy expensive. $5.00 for a small soda and $5.50 for a small popcorn? Really? Last I checked those items are very inexpensive outside of the theater. I understand needing to make a profit. But at least make it affordable to go to the movies.

I took my twins to the movies for the first time. About half through the movie we were evacuated. (Not sure why, there was no fire.) My boys were scared to go back in so they have me three tickets for anytime, at any regal theater. Most companies would have said, too bad for your luck. Either go back in and finish the movie now, or lose out. Im super impressed with the way they handled it.

I have seen the management and staff go out of their way to make sure you have a safe and enjoyable time. They try their best to solve any complaints and I know some feel this is not the best part of Stockton but it is a clean well taken care of facility and there is plenty of security and police presents to make you feel safe. Enjoy a movie we do often

I think its a very nice theater to see a movie, I notice everyone talking about the kids , ghetto . What else do they have to do ? If your truely scard of the kids stay home drive a bit farther .wasnt like the batman shooting was in a ghetto, but it happen so you think about it. Get sick of folks with that ghetto stuff. Its everywhere , an live with it

Seats are great here. First class seats that transform in a sofa. The sound system could be overhauled though. It is not bad, but there are better nowadays. Make sure you park your car in the nearby garage (it is safer than the parking lot). They validate the ticket in the theatre. Staff pointed us to the direction which was very nice.

Regal has some very comfortable seats and great movies they show. However many times I have come here, the floor still has some trash and sometimes it would look as if they just skimmed the surface and left it. I guess it depends on who works. Their drinks and food could use some work but they are desirable and good for a quick snack.

Its a nice theater but one employee at the front has a big mouth.He said something about me last week, he better be careful! I wasnt bothering anybody! I go to enjoy the movie and to relax.But I can show up there for something else if that is what he wants to cause.I think he was a bastards security plain clothes officer.

Downtown is such a nice place during the day, but at night the place is full of nasty ghetto kids roaming the streets thinking they are something worth looking at. It simply makes me not want to come back! Its sad that you see police standing all around the area just because Stockton is simply NOT CIVIL!

I tied my dog up to go to starbucks. Security steve came in starbucks with a raised voice and said is that ur dog I said ya, he said get ur dog off the property or Im callin police department. Then have the nerve to threaten to mace my therapy dog . Jus cause hes scared of dogs. Bit#h not all dogs bite

Decent place to watch a Movie. Friendly staff; the place is clean and well kept. Location is close to downtown Stockton. Few restaurants around hence giving you options. If you ever are around, give it a shot you wont be disappointed. Oh I almost forgot, they have electric reclining chair. Very cool

Came here to watch the Spider Man Homecoming movie late night. Ordered tickets online through Fandango VIP, picked up at the kiosk, and had reserve seating with reclining chairs. Overall nice and clean, dont forget to get your parking validated (up to 4 hours) when leaving.

Decent Theater for locals. Just go like an hour before the movie starts to get the best seats. Great for the family. I would suggest parking in the parking garage to the East of the Theaters Main Entrance. Havent had any problems with theft. Bring you own snacks, its pricey.
