For what I could tell is an independently run theater they have made some obvious genuine attempts to keep the quality of the viewing experience and the appearance of the building at Top Notch quality. But I did notice some lack of planning in the design and upgrades. When I chose my seating when buying my ticket the map of the room definitely did not match the layout of the actual room. The seat I bought which appeared to be in the very middle was pretty far to the right and I ended up going back to the counter to exchange for a different seat. and I suppose for some liability reason they have very tall railings in the stadium seating. So when you recline your seat this railing is in your way when viewing the movie. At least it was in the auditorium where I saw War for the Planet of the Apes. So I ended up sitting upright and not utilizing the reclining feature of the seat. Ive never cared much for the snack bar in theaters so I dont care about the bare-bones selection of snacks that they offer. But in their appreciated attempts to keep the theater top-notch they have made some hiccups. Its the first Theatre Ive been to where Ive had a railing blocking my view of the movie.

We had our kids birthday party here and it was amazing. The birthday package included 2 pizzas, soda, birthday cake, pre-assign seating of our choice, a kids snack meal for the movie, tokens for the games, and reclining seats in the theater. What really amazed me was how accommodating the employee that was assigned to our party was. Before the movie she had the kids line up to wash hands before getting their movie box snacks. Then she lined them up for the snack box and drink. Then she ushered all the kids to their seats. In most party packages we have got for our kids they usually show us to our party room and the rest is up to us.

nice theater but the prices on days other than Tuesday are way too high.. like honestly $8.50 for someone like me who makes minimum wage, its just too expensive. for how much profit there is in the ridiculously priced refreshments, a ticket priced at $5 or around that all the time, would surely attract more customers. the River falls theater sells out for nearly every single show all the time.. and im sure they are still plenty profitable, the Hudson theater could just do that on an even bigger scale. i speak for others besides me, the Hudson theater is less enticing due to its prices.

Clearly Megan has no idea what working at a Movie Theatre is like. I worked at one for 3 years and it is more difficult than anyone thinks. When I visited the staff was helpful to all the questions I had and even went out of their way to help me carry my concessions to my theatre. By far one the most polite staffs I have ever seen at a movie theatre. You would probably not have popcorn stuck to your shoes if other customers cared enough to not spill everywhere. I HIGHLY recommend this establishment for anyone looking for a great movie experience!

The building is beautiful, the design is amazing. The problem is they clearly have the same employees the old Hudson theater had because the place is so dirty you will walk out with popcorn stuck to your shoes. Please consider hiring a productive, motivated, dedicated staff!! This theater has such potential... Please think about the repurcussions of a dirty environment. Need staff specifically for cleaning and organizing customers when the theater is full.

I try no to go to this theater because of all the bad things that can and do go wrong here. They really need to update things. I went with my wife once and our seat literally fell off. It was not only embarrassing, but also painful. I brought the seat to the manager and in return got two free tickets... Thanks for visiting our crappy theater, here are two tickets so you can repeat this experience. We didnt use the free tix.

Love the atmosphere, the staff is friendly, the theater is always clean, the seats are comfortable, and 5 dollar movies all day Tuesday. To Charley below, you get what you pay for. A quality theater has always costed 8-12 bucks for a movie, you have to understand the theater is significantly larger than River Falls so it costs more for upkeep. Plus the River Falls theater is a budget theater.

Originally rated 5 star but things have changed not for the better. One star rating is based solely on reduced cost on Tuesday. There are fewer seats and chances of spontaneously going to see the movie of choice is greatly reduced. Forced to reserve seating with extra cost and prices were increased to cover the reclining seats in all screening rooms. Not worth it. Floor seats are still the worst.

Comfy seats. Went and saw lego Batman. Line was long to get ticket. Girl yelled out about using machines. I did that. Was ready to get my ticket and pick my seat. Got into theatre and the seats were plush and comfy. The had leg rests that were nice and I could lean back. Actually fell asleep while waiting for the movie to start. I didnt get and thing from refreshments, so I cant comment on that.

Was perfect before they had to go and change to kiosks and fancy seats that they charge an extra dollar for and the only way to get good seats for popular movies is to either get them DAYS in advanced or on line for an extra dollar tacked on to the $9.50 price. Go back to the way it was, this is a movie theatre not an airplane. Never happy when I leave here.

I love this theater but the popcorn was chewy and old tasting , candy was old and horrible tasting ! My friend said her cheese curds were bad too. We had seen Tulip Fever a 7:10 pm showing, would think popcorn would have been fresh especially with IT OPENING . We are coming back tonight to see It at 6:30 pm , hoping to have a better experience!

This is our theatre of choice...First run movies, great comfy recliners and the staff excells at customer service and caring...James at the concession has blown me away on multiple occasions with fast, friendly and accurate service...He goes above and beyond in caring, enthusiast attitude. We go to more movies, due to Hudson 12 Theatres.

Had a good time with the kids at this Theater... Friendly staff, everyone seemed to be doing something. I my self am a manager and I enjoy seeing a team work together. I told them all good job and got smiles and thank you. The clean theater was a plus also! Movie started on time and everything! What a great experience!

With the recent upgrade to the new lounge seating it is real comfortable to see a movie. Nothing better than an electric lazy boy to ease back & watch a movie. The online ticket purchasing reassures I will get the seat I want every time we go to the movie. Excellent job with the upgrades.
