The food is a little overpriced but decent enough I guess. The only thing that really makes Sunset Tavern notable is that they have very little regard for traveling musicians. Theyre happy to reap the rewards of having a touring band provide them with diners and drinkers, but the purse strings tighten up significantly when it comes to sharing those rewards with those who actually provided the occasion. With all the amazing options in Seattle, Im pretty sure I will never see the inside of this place again.

Went to see Whiskey Myers and Deception Past. The venue was small and cozy, and the band members were part of the audience. It makes for a great place for anyone who has been on the music scene to get in to the show and enjoy some great tunes. Friendly staff, good Pizza from next door, and generous bartenders. I reccommend you pick a band you like and go. Enjoy:)

Really love the new upgrades to the Sunset. There are lots of little details in the decor, which are fun to explore while drinking with friends. Taking in a rock show in the back is a lot of fun too, its so intimate you feel like you get that house party / garage band sort of experience.

This place has good drinks and hosts some really interesting bands. The Decor is very theme based around the 1960s sailor bar look. The bar apparently has a lot of history involved with that. I did not have the food so I cannot speak to that. Its a pretty decent dive bar if nothing else.

This is a cool bar with some old history. Thought it was kind of eh until I read more about the place. Plus they do live music in the back. Not really my genre of music, but its still a cool scene. They also have a beer shot combo. Definitely a good sign.

What a great venue. Saw Steve N Seagulls there and it was a grand show. I bought tickets online and picking em up went off without a hitch. Cant say enough positive stuff about the place.

Great bar / lounge with a small but cool music venue in the back. Drinks are reasonably priced. Staff is pretty friendly. Definitely worth a visit for a drink or two.
