So Ive never been to the Skylark cafe until this morning. We went for breakfast today around noon. Ive heard they have great little concerts, an array of beers on tap and its just a cool place to be, if ever there was one on Delridge. I heard the 5.95 eggs, skillet potatoes, sourdough toast and flacid bacon w/ a side of Hollandaise were out of this world. As are the spicy bloody Marys. Im a moderate foody however, so I opted for the Spinach & Feta Omelette and coffee (they didnt have any iced tea). The potatoes were great. The toast was average. But the omelette definitely should not be a "bright and shining star" on their menu. The spinach was obviously frozen and the tomatoes were ruggedly cut so that the presentation was more of a "thrown together last minute" kind of dish. And the coffee was like brown water. Bottom Line: if youre looking for atmosphere and Stella on tap, definitely come here. If you need a greasy breakfast with a spicy Mary on the side to cure the hangover, look no further. But if youre wanting a "gourmet" omelette, youre better off going to Beths or the Hurricane.

Almost all food served here is prepped from scratch (tater tots and bread are the exceptions) and it definitely shows in the quality and taste. The meats are smoked in-house. The fried chicken is top-notch, as are the brunch tacos. There is an excellent beer selection featuring many local favorites as well as wine and a full bar. Bartenders are friendly and provide great service. The acoustics in this place are incredible, and it makes for a wonderful experience to see a show here. Karaoke on Tuesdays is probably the best in Seattle.

Im a sound engineer, came to the Skylark for a friends show tonight. I thought the bar was great, decently priced, good food, nice beer selection and atmosphere. Giving it 2 stars because of their horrible mixer. If you deafen patrons multiple times with feedback and other mistakes during sound check and then crank it so loud that the people not wearing earplugs are nearly constantly plugging their ears, you are doing it wrong.

Really friendly owner and sometimes that counts for a lot. Food here is solid and they have a really good happy hour deal on tots and popcorn. Its become a regular stop for us thanks to an outstanding trivia night every week. Brunch is great here but it can get really crowded on the weekends. Havent been to a show here yet but I can tell the owner is serious about music. Nice place

Saw the amazing upcoming band "Idlehands" from San Diego. Staff was super friendly and sound was loud and good! Had a veggie plate with humus that was surprisingly good for a "bar and grill" type joint. Not many people there, probably because it was one of the 10 really nice days here, everyone was down at the beach bars! I would definitely come back to hear more live music!

Skylark is the hidden gem of West Seattle. The food is all pretty much made from scratch and the meat is cured in house. Everything can be made gluten free without taking away ingredients. The staff is super nice and easy going. It stays pretty empty most of the time but it shouldnt be. Also, a perfect place to watch the game.

Place is great...perfect atmosphere, GREAT FOOD - The BEST smoked pastrami, chicken, bacon, etc...and other great non-meat dishes as well. Beer/tap/alcohol/wine selection is diverse and well populated. This is one of the best go-to restaurant/bar/venue spots in Seattle.

Quirky little music venue with excellent beer selection and good pub grub. Be sure to consult their excellent web site for tips on parking. There is plenty of close by parking available but it is tricky to get to.

Best brunch in West Seattle! The owner smokes all the bacon and other meat personally on-site. It is sooooooo good. And they have pint jars of mimosas. Seriously this place is so much better than Luna Park.

If you ever want an amazing Eggs Benedict than Skylark is your best bet! The homemade browned butter hollandaise is out of this world !!! There is a great atmosphere. I always am craving the Skylark brunch.

This is a great little venue to catch a show. The sound was well mixed and visibility was good from anywhere in the bar. Plus, theyve got great pub grub, like fried pickles, truffle popcorn and churros.

I always enjoy my time here! Usually there is some kind of live performance, and the combination of live entertainment turns this otherwise dive bar into a shabby-chic mecca for a fun night and a brew.

Nice spot with REALLY great & elevated food. Bit of a middle-aged crowd. Food takes a long time so prepare to wait a while. But trust me, order the fried pickles, grilled cheese, and cheesesteak!

Good beer and atmosphere, but the food was burnt and greasy. Burger was overdone. The bartender was secretly taking shots when no one was looking. The only good food was the french fries.

I usually just go for food and drinks. Great during day time, kind of a bummer when there is a show, but the show attendees are having a good time. Try the philly

Because its easy access either walking or by car, the place has a great entertainment, musicians and singers. Besides you can choose some shacks or food to eat.

Food is okay but often a bit greasy. Nice place for an afternoon beer or two. I really like their rotating selection of artwork, its often very good stuff.

Above average breakfast with above average wait times. Takes forever to get your food even when it isnt busy, or Im just consistently unlucky.

Best dive/venue/trivia/smoked meats/beer selection/daily specials/art/people in Seattle. Yuppie types stay away, this place is perfect.

Cool place, different types of entertainment every night. Food is great. I suggest the Seattle Cheese steak with the fresh cut fries.

Went for a dragshow, the venue was a bit strange at first but seems nice. Loved the show! Had a good gin & Long Island.

Dont know why the mixer got bad reviews, the show tonight had many different bands, and they were all well mixed.
