The vineyard and tasting room are tucked beautifully into the mountains. The barn that contains the tasting room is nice, but I wasnt overly impressed by the lady who did our tasting. The wines were underwhelming. The Chardonnay was least to my taste, and I found the reds much too light. One had a metallic taste, and I thought the petit Verdot tasted almost vinegary. White wine drinkers may prefer this winery to some of the others in the area, because their Sweet Life and Vidal blanc were both very nice, and because the reds are so light.

Let me just say that this vineyard is amazing. Their wine is absolutely fantastic and the owners and staff are bar none the best. They really make you feel at home. The wine experience here is better than any other vineyard I have been too in Virginia. Dont pass up this vineyard.

Happy that this winery is now open every weekend. Stopped by for the 1st time in May and been 2 more. Very good wines. Whites are great, Reds are excellent. Prices are even better. Will always be a stop.
