Im going to be honest. This place is like 2 parties in one. There were two sides, and yes one side was filled with dancing, food, and is always packed out and hype to the max, but there was another side. The Abar side was much different. It was smooth and much less packed out. There were wraparounds to sit in and watch sports and such on the large flatscreen tvs that were all around. I find myself going to the ABAR side to drink, then back to the other side to dance a few, and then I go back to the abar side to cool down. MUSIC is excellent, and there are alot of haters up here, cause the truth is the alley is ALWAYS bumping on saturday nights. Wednesdays is a slightly younger crowd but still packed. Get there early, or pay and wait in line..simple as that. SEE you there along with several of the other people up here that have written negative reviews because they didnt come dressed correctly or got there late expecting to get in free...smh...

Lets see...where can I start....well first of its a very nice club...woman looked great...drinks were pricey but good....me being a DJ I was not too happy with the music. It was many times I heard people complaing that the dj was playing too much BS. And I could agree. A dj feeds from the crowd. DRESS CODE?? hmm...Im all for dresz codes but I think it should be made public what the dress code really is....its not on the website nor the facebook page so as a regular patron coming to party they not going to know the proper attire to wear. Then if u not in dress code they sell stuff there or you can pay 100$...overall I give the club as a whole 7/10

I visited the alley the Door Lady didnt let me in. Everything I wore wasnt good enough, I took my jacket off, then she said my girly thermal colored shirt wasnt good enough. Then said sucked her teeth and said I cant let you in. HOwever, I young girl under 21 came in dressed before me with a skirt as a shirt no panties, high heels,dressed like a prostitute was let in and dressed appropriately. However me cover up, wasnt good for their clientle. Friday nite on the 35 plus older crowd side, everyone was very friendly including the bartender. DOOR FOLKS GET A NEW JOB YOUR ATTITUDE SUCKS!!BAD FOR THE BUSINESS.

The Alley knows how to rebrand itself. Very good in a business. More people should give it a try. From the front door to, to the bartenders and the drinks, the food and breakfast buffets. The Alley does really llok out for the patron. The security is on point. Everyone really must experience the VIP decks and bottle service (its well worth it) If you NEVER want to forget the night, stop by the picture booth and capture the memory forever. The Alley hands down is the best club in the 757. Something for everybody!!!!

i absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE The Alley! if I could go every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday I would. Great Food, Music, and Atmosphere! Great place to go that is Drama Free, and I love the new look! The staff keep it professional and seem to have fun doing their jobs. Best DJ around town! If your every in the 7 cities, The Alley nightclub in Newport News is the place to be for complete FUN! LOVE U GUYS!

I’ve always been a fan of The Alley since my very first time going that’s the only club I know I’m guaranteed a good time. The DJ always on point keeps the crowd rocking, the drinks definitely on point and they have the best chicken wings ever (lol)!!!!! I must add that the renovations look very good The Alley is definitely stepping they game up and it shows!

Well from the pictures and comments it appears to be an ok spot...Too bad the night me and my cousin was driving pass for the first time the line was all the way to the dump we was trying to check it out so we could go. However some damn goons quickly interrupted everyones peace and zen by firing shots so we had to speed the hell off and never looked back

Since the Alley has started its makeover, this is the place to be. I have seen a huge improvement in the atomsphere. I stopped going for a while had my first visit to the new improved Alley a few weeks ago. All I could say was WOW. Even got an ID scanner system to keep down the drama. I dont drink so I go for the fun and it has improved.

the best night club in the 757 where you can go to have a wonderful time. had a bday party there and it was the best.a place you can go thru the week on a wed where the happy hours are the best.a club to take the drive and im from norfolk and i drive just to enjoy my self.f you havent tried it try it you will return.best club

My first time at the alley my phone was stolen and sercurity did nothing about it even after we told them who stole it. they literally did nothing!! Its full of ghetto low lives. if you decide to go anyway I wouldnt even set your phone down infront of you at your table. Now Im paying for a $500 phone that I cant even use!

They held the line til 8 so everybody could pay lol! I called the girl while I was sitting in the parking lot to See what was going on. She basically lied til I told her I was sitting in the parking lot lmao, then they held the line After they opened to make it seem like the club was popping when it wont HA !

Everytime i go here it is an amazing enviroment wit great food great prices and good secruity..this is a place i recomend to all my friends and family when they just want a relaxed time on a friday or wednesday night. i wouldnt ask that yall change a thing in the world..keep it up the alley

The alley is a hood club and I hate it..always smokey...the security guards are wack..especy rico..I been stop going there..its always drama n nonsense there but what do u expect from that hood club thats full of hoodboogas...somebody needs to close it down for good....
