The rooms were horribly small... even for myself and 2 toddlers. You have to pay for disney channel shows so the hotel is definitely not kid friendly. You have to pay for the internet and if you forget to disconnect imagine how big your bill will be. The hotel staff was very rude... except maybe one of the front desk clerks. The concierge gave myself and my family very discerning looks. Made us very uncomfortable. The hotel only gave me one key upon check in when i had paid for two... I had to take time out of my day to go to the printer (which was out of paper) to reprint my confirmation. We went to the rooms and the room 401 had the oldest looking keylock i have ever seen and i am only 24yrs old. The lock cover was off and exposed to the whole world. The room itself was "okay". The bathroom sink knobs were disoriented not even facing the same direction. When we went to the ihop across, (the door to the hotel room was pulled and closed tightly) the street, service was ok... not the best and there were shady people standing outside of the doors. When we got back to the room i noticed the handle to the door was facing down, when i inserted the key, the lights never lit up but i pushed the door and it flew open. This was very disheartening being as though i had 2 little children with me and our room was in the corner of the end of the hall. I had alot of valuables that could have been stolen. The a/c unit in the hotel was the loudest and weirdest that i have ever heard. The a/c would blow, cool down the room to a comfortable setting... then the heat would cut on to warm it back up and then the a/c again to cool it down... this happened all night... I woke up everytime the heat clicked on because it was just soooo loud. This hotel is the worst that i have been too and for priceline to rank it a 3 star is unacceptable. I will not be returning to this hotel. I had a wonderful stay at the Courtyard Arlington Rosslyn though and it was $15 cheaper. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE AND THE CONCIERGE IS CREEPY!!!

Im giving this hotel one star even though I have not stayed there. I attempted to reserve a room for several nights while visiting the Office of Naval Research nearby. Most hotels in DC offer a government rate, although a particular hotel on a given date might not offer it. The Hilton, when you select government rate plan, offers a rate 25% above the per diem rate with the advisory "GOVT PLUS 25 PERCENT. GOVT ALTERNATIVE GSA GUIDELINES PERMIT INCREASED PER DIEM RATE." (they actually offer the same room with both a 25% and 35% surcharge, in case paying only 25% more is not enough for you.) Well, I suppose that they can charge whatever they want and call it a "government rate", but government employees can only be reimbursed at the standard per diem rate. I travel often on business and I have never seen this anywhere else. I can imagine that an unsuspecting government worker might stay there, thinking that its OK because the hotel says that "GSA guidelines permit", only to submit his travel voucher and find out that he has to pay that 25% (or 35%) per night out of pocket! A hotel in the middle of government offices should not be fleecing government employees!

I will definitely stay here again. Its very close to the freeway to get just about anywhere. Even though there is construction going on right now, I had no issues getting to hotel even during rush hour. Friendly staff, clean lovely rooms, comfortable beds and comforters. Plush clean carpet. I actually over slept because the room was so dark after 9 am. Those some good curtains! The "First" breakfast hours are perfect, but $16 a person for a buffet breakfast is over the top. I just wanted some bacon and orange juice so I could be on my way. They do offer a la carte in room meals just about all day, so in comparison with the buffet price and a la carte price the buffet makes sense or just map your way to the nearest IHOP. Its very close to Six Flags, Cowboy stadium, huge water park, baseball stadium, shopping mall and about 25 min from airport.

The room was tiny and there was no shower tub -- only a tiny stand-in shower. The bathroom door blocked the entrance. The internet access was terrible. They actually charge for internet access $3 for 15 minutes and 25 cents per minute after that. Plus the signal strength was terrible and the network access kept getting disconnected in the middle of my work. Even a low-end comfort inn gives free internet access. They charge $5 for a small bottle of water in the room. You can hear anybody and anyone through the walls. Parking rules were ridiculous: at checkout time, they tried to charge me 3 days parking when I had parked only for less than two. The woman at the reception was skimpily dressed in her nightgown, as if she just woke out of her bed. I will not stay here again.

So my trip from Nashville to Arlington started pretty bad. Lost luggage and left my cell phone in the cab from the airport. Feeling helpless without a phone, the staff here made it there personal mission to help me get my phone. Cintya in particular went above and beyond. Checking the cameras for info on the cab, showing me how to login to Google to send an alert and message to the phone, letting me use her personal cell to make some calls. This type of service is typically lost today and very rare. Excellent service, clean, well-kept lobby, bathrooms, and rooms, this is the place to stay if you are coming to Arlington or surrounding. Again, a big 6 stars to Cintya for making my stay as good as possible with all the trouble I started with.

This was our first trip to D.C. and it was amazing! We were impressed with this facility and the location. We were able to get an outstanding rate for the few days we stayed. We were at a Hotel a little further away and transferred to this Hilton because of the convenient access to the Metro downstairs.Everything you need is at this location....Food , The Mall, and an awesome walk around this Upscale area.My family will definitely be back here. The service from this crew was outstanding! The room was very clean and the shower was approved by my wife! (she wont stay anywhere with a lousy shower). Personally, I give this place 5 stars...and you will to!

Do not book this hotel. I booked a room on the Hilton website over a month ago for New Years Eve. My plans have changed and I called to cancel my reservation and I was told that my reservation is non-refundable, even though I am giving them over a weeks notice!!! The customer service rep was totally rude and told me it was my fault that I cannot cancel, saying the website gives you options as to what type of reservation you are making. Obviously the site was not clear or I would have never selected a non-refundable reservation. They would not refund me my money. I will never use a Hilton hotel again if I can help it. Beware!!!

I was traveling to the area for business and had a subpar stay at this hotel for a few reasons. The internet was slow and would often disconnect, making working from the hotel room difficult in the evenings. Apparently they dont have a service elevator, so an elevator would be full with a cleaning cart. The walls are pretty thin so I could hear all my neighbors. A normal conversation next door was enough to keep me form falling asleep. The breakfast was pretty good with friendly staff, but you need access to the executive lounge to get the breakfast. I think they should open it up to everyone. Overall, not worth the rate.
