Staff is top-notch, and were helpful at every turn. From the front desk, to the restaurant to the bar. Room was clean and very quiet, with the exception of the in-room AC unit, which is a bit too noisy when it comes on. As a result I set the fan to be on at all times so it was eventually just white noise to me. The biggest issue is the water. You wont enjoy a hot shower here. Even after letting the water run at maximum hot for 5 minutes, the water is lukewarm at best. And on the last day the water was brown, and needed to run for a while to become clear. I overheard others in the lounge mentioning the water temperature issues as well. Thats a deal breaker No full length mirror, which is uncommon, but not a big deal. Restaurant staff are a little too attentive in the early morning, likely due to a lack of patrons. One day I still had my face over my plate while putting a forkful of eggs in my mouth and the server was taking the plate away. The next day the server was asking if everything was ok at 2 minute intervals. Chill! Im still waking up. Hostess was great. Food is OK. Im not big on the full carb overload in the morning, but the fruit and cereal options are sufficient if you dont want eggs, French toast and bacon. Bagels were so stale you could have broken a window by throwing them at one. Local craft beers only on tap - well done! Most big hotels arent that brave. I wouldnt return here unless I was assured the water issues had been resolved. I would also have given it 2.5 stars if that were possible.

Nice property however needs to be more user friendly Selected a 3.5 star property in the Rockville area via an online bidding site and was happy to see it was a Hilton. Located in a suburban community(Rockville) vs. a downtown property, I had no idea they would charge $15 a day for parking. If I knew in advance this property would have been off my list. Pros: I received a good room rate(not knowing about the parking fee), and the property was clean, renovated, updated, with all the amenities of a higher end property. Rooms were clean, in room Cuisinart individual pack coffee maker, very large, dual entrance to hallway and atrium entry(kind of cool), and MOST IMPORTANTLY - Quiet walls- did not hear a peep from other rooms. Cons: $15/night parking fee(yes, really bothers me), have to pay for Wi-Fi(really?), very loud air conditioning unit( I suggest keeping fan setting to ON vs. Auto, to avoid silence and then a big boom as the unit goes on. Keeping the fan ON is a constant sound, however it quells the boom when the condenser goes on). No recycling can for bottles, paper, etc. Wonder why they promote eco messages regarding towels and linens, but dont recycle bottles/paper? Would I stay again? Yes if they removed the parking fee - OR- the rate was so low that paying the parking fee still kept it within my usual room budget.

From a convenience standpoint, it was outstanding. Easy to find, *right* next to the Twinbrook Metro, and on-site parking. The facilities were acceptable. Its not a new building, but its kept reasonably well. The pools hot tub was broken during my stay, which was disappointing. Room was clean, but not glowing. The building layout was unique, and I liked it. From a value standpoint, it fell flat. $200+ Rooms, $15/day parking, and $10/day internet. I was there on a work function, so the price didnt impact me directly... but if youre footing the bill, you may not feel its worth it. The service was extremely hit or miss. The one day I ordered room service, it took a full hour to deliver a cheeseburger and a salad. My calls to the restaurant at 40 minutes and 50 minutes went unanswered, and got rerouted to the front desk that said they would check on my order and call me back (they didnt). When I did get my food, I wasnt given utensils. On checkout, I *did* have an extremely helpful manager who removed the room service charge, and comped me my internet as well... so at least some of the people there are trying to make things right. I would stay there again, for business.

The staff has been friendly and the cleaning lady has been wonderful, however, this is the second room I have stayed in and it has been consistently hot. The first room was checked out by maintenance who determined that the ac was broken. The second room has the same issue even now. It is nearly 80 degrees at times in the room. The ac never kicks on and only runs the fan. I havent reported it again since Im here for an extended amount of time and I really dont want to be moved again only to have the same issue. I have overheard other guests complaining about the ac while at the front desk for other reasons. No complimentary breakfast. Even run down motels have complimentary cereal or muffins. The parking garage is 15 bucks a night regardless of it not having security and having rusty leaking pipes everywhere. What kind of establishment charges their patrons for parking in a scary parking garage? I wouldnt stay here again.

The Hilton Rockville hosted our unique wedding weekend, which included two wedding ceremonies and a reception on the day-of, as well as a block of rooms for our guests. Paula Smith, the Catering Sales Manager, ensured that everything went off without a hitch! A day-of wedding coordinator was not in our budget, but Paula provided top-notch day-of coordination instead. Paula was extremely responsive from start to finish, and ensured that all our vendors knew where to go and when. She also even helped the wedding party keep everything on schedule throughout the 15+ hour day. The Hilton was so accommodating of our unique needs (differing from the Christian wedding ceremony to the Hindu wedding ceremony to the Indian-style reception) -- and was a gorgeous newly-renovated venue for our wedding at a very reasonable price. We highly recommend the Hilton Rockville for any type of wedding!

The hotel was very nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The shower was so nice and powerful. Just what I needed after a long day of touring Washington DC cherry blossoms. The negative was the front desk incompetence .They gave us a card to a room that would not open. When we called down we were told to go back down to the front desk, which meant all our luggage also to get a new card for a different room. Also we were not informed we would have a 50$ charge placed on our credit card . We called to see why and then were told it will be refunded after 5 days. I think they should have told us about the charge before charging our card. ps.For the price you would think a small breakfast would have been included

If you like sleeping in the dark, dont expect it here. Our room door allowed light from the very bright light in the hallway to seep in on all sides, especially underneath. Perhaps thats why we could also hear other guests being quite loud in the hallways. The hotel felt very old and dated, although the room itself was clean. Would have loved a washed comforter like so many other hotels do nowadays, but instead got a comforter covered with an external sheet. Had some funky black stuff in the ice bucket the two times I emptied it (first time I gave it only a brief thought, second time made me not get more ice). Staff was nice, location across from the metro was great, but overall, I would not stay here again.
