Ive been here twice now, and while I loved discount theaters where I used to live and in sugarhouse, this cinemark is horrible. The floor is always sticky and dirty, which could be overlooked for the ticket price. But, the restrooms were also awful as they smelt of urine and again were sticky everywhere. Finally, each time Ive been here, there were never any employees in the lobby when movies finished. As a result there have been large queues waiting to receive refills for the overpriced concessions they paid for. Its not that difficult to provide customer service in a movie theater, but this cinemark falls short everywhere, especially considering a customer paying seventeen dollars for concessions should receive his or her free refills. I could never recommend this place to others. If youre trying to just do something fun for a date night, I believe movies are out of the picture in this town. Maybe its time to pirate a film, stream a film, or go and do something else. The experience youll have here is always going to fall well below your expectations. Worst theater ever.

Overall good experience...sound was great and 3D was beautiful. Minus two stars for over the top snack prices (even for a movie theater)...kind of encourages people to bring in own snacks. As soon as the movie started the coke cans began to pop open and numerous sounds of people digging through bags to find noisy plastic wrapped snacks. However, plus one star for the manager who made up for lack of customer service at box office with an exchange for our prepaid tickets. The show was sold out and even though we arrived on time we would not be able to sit together. Was originally told, to paraphrase, too bad. Hated to do it but asked for the manager who exchanged for next show no big deal.

I give this theater 5 stars for families. I love that there that there is an affordable theater that families can go to. Families of say 6 people that have to pay $5 or $8 (or more) for each ticket - just cant afford it - then to buy a popcorn too - YIKES!! The staff is very friendly and the theater is always clean and very nice. I love the comfortable and upgraded stadium seats. Yes, the movies have been out a while, but who cares? We dont HAVE to see a movie the INSTANT its out. Great movies - good sound. All in all a GREAT movie theater and in a great part of the valley. Thank you for being there Cinemark Movies 9.

Im a teenager on a budget whose addicted to movies. I go alone most of the time, but the staff here always make me feel welcome and part of the crew, instead of looking past me for the friend im going with like they do at the Megaplex. Its clean too! no sticky floors, or crunchy popcorn and candy wrappers everywhere. Sure, its simple and not super ornate, but im not there to stare at the walls and floor. Sometimes the screens are a little old, but the movie is usually great quality. Its family friendly too! My family likes to go on Monday for the 75 cent admission. this is really the best theater in the neighborhood!

Its a little dingy and the seats are worn but the kids had fun. Also, they have something on the screen prior to the previews and it helps keep the kids in their seats. Its an older theater so its not stadium seating but they do have boosters for children. Thats a plus. The boosters themselves are also dirty and could use a wipe down. Maybe a container of wipes like you would find at the gym mounted to the wall would be a feature parents would love to see. All that said, wed go back. Where can 4 people see a movie for less than ten dollars?

This theatre sucks balls. So there I am watching a good little flick, when one of the movie attendants comes in and gives the guy next to me a brown bag that smelled like shiz. I then proceed to move away from the man. But he comes and sits next to me like a minute later. And that was just one time. There was another time when I saw a half eaten pizza crust on the floor. And thats pretty gross. All in all this place sucks super big nuts and I would recommend not to go there. Also the prices for food are waaaayyyyy to expensive.

As far as "Discount" Movie Theaters go, this is one of the nicest I have been too, and I go on a regular basis. Generally the seats are in good condition and the floors are generally clean. Parking can get crowded, but generally have a good selection of movies and showtimes. Saturday Afternoon showings of Kid Friendly movies are typically very very crowded. Seating is not assigned so "first come first serve". You may not want to try to cut it too close for a a weekend date night.

Ive been going to Movies 9 for about 8 or 9 years. I love it!. Not only is the price great but so is the popcorn and pop. I love the time options and the movies are always of interest and there is enough variety to find something good most anytime of the week. They keep it clean and the staff are very friendly. I have to give them a big thumbs up because I sure appreciate the fact that I have something so close that I enjoy.

THEY TOOK OUR MONEY FOR FIVE TICKETS ON THIER WEB PAGE VIA CREDIT CARD. WE GOT THERE JUST AS THE MOVIE WAS BEGINNING. THEY TOLD US IT WAS SOLD OUT. WE ASKED FOR OUR MONEY TO BE REFUNDED. THEY OFFERED TO LET US SEE ANOTHER MOVIE LATER THAT NIGHT. WE COULDNT COME BACK. THEY WOULD NOT REFUND OUR MONEY OR GIVE US A VOUCHER FOR LATER. THIS IS A DISHONEST POLICY. IT IS A CHOICE TO STEAL FROM CUSTOMERS.

This place reminds me why I support small guy cinema. They offer movies at affordable prices for everyone. Have enough theaters to get all of the releases in time cycled through, and staff who are fun and friendly. Its a very clean and lovely facility. Standard concessions that arent quite as overpriced as the big boy chains. AND they have a photo booth thats easy and fun. Date night!

I love only spending a couple dollars for tickets. But this kind of shack should not be charging $10 for popcorn. The seats were highly uncomfortable. The floors were permanently dirty. Id say its well past time for an update. Plus they turned on the theater lights at least 20 minutes before the movie ended then just left them on. At least the staff was polite.

A good place to go out and watch a movie as a family without breaking the bank. Despite this theater being around for decades it has been well maintained. The floors arent too dirty and the seats are in fairly good condition. Only downside would be lack of stadium seating, however they do provide booster seats for younger viewers.

An older movie theater with an old sound system but that goes without saying as the movies are $1. Concession stand charges the normal (inflated) prices on food and drink. Some movies need to be seen on a large movie theater screen but dont warrant paying $7. If so, this is a good theater for you.

Its the last "dollar theater" that I know about. Its great to be able to see new(ish) movies on the big screen for cheap! Concessions are still outrageously priced though. Its also really busy most of the time. But its still better than going to a "normal theater" for 5-8 times the price!
