I was excited to try this concept as Ive never been to a dine-in theatre before but it was disappointing. Parking was great and not a problem. There arent too many movies playing so do t expect the same selection as a normal theater. We got our tickets quickly as well, but ended up only being able to get front row seats. Ive done front row seats in a theater before but these in particular were way too close to the screen. There are 2 seat style options. You can choose from a stationary seat like what the typical movie theaters have but it has a small table that swings around in front. The other option was a desk chair that sits at a bar. Since we didnt purchase our tickets earlier, this was the only option and I do not recommend it as it was not comfortable unless you like sitting in an office chair to watch a movie. We ordered food and I got the California chicken sandwich. Whats interesting is this theater prides itself on the food but what I got was mediocre at best. The sandwich bun was soggy and soaked probably from the pico de gallo that was on the bottom of the sandwich. I also ordered a margarita which was terrible. The mix they used was a cheap quality fake lime flavor. I took 2 sips and decided this drink was not worth the calories. Our drinks also came out after our food. Above all, the food and drinks are way overpriced for the quality and value. My bill with tip was around $28 for a chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and the margarita. I wanted to complain and fix the food, but honestly I was afraid if I complained about both my food and beverage being bad, they wouldnt have taken me seriously. I just wont go back. I recommend getting dinner and drinks at a normal restaurant and then going to a theater that has the comfortable reclining chairs instead.

Went to see Star Wars - Force Awakens and sound level was SO crazy high, I HAD to go complain to the wait staff, who them directed me to the manager who then told me he would NOT adjust the sound level. I work in audio and install theaters in high end homes in north Scottsdale, so I think I know a thing or two about excess decibel levels. The movie had "sound spikes" above 100db during explosions and lasers (helloooo, its a Star Wars movie, its going to have ALOT of those!!!). But thats like sitting next to a lawn mower during those bursts of sound or music!! - not enjoyable. The manager seemed content that his $15 per hour entitled him to decide what constituted prolonged hearing loss and refused to adjust the sound by telling me it was "preset and he could not adjust it" -- but then after I told him, "Oh cmon, ALL theaters can adjust their sound - along with peak levels and whisper moments in a movie - those parameters are set BEFORE a movie even starts by the theater" - he changed his tune and said that actually he COULD change the levels, but he wasnt going to do so..........so much for pleasing the customer, right? A little side note: I asked the patron next to me (on both sides), if they thought the sound was too high during the explosions and they both emphatically agreed with me........THEN, as the waitstaff gal was walking me to meet the manager, she too confessed that they keep that "Star Wars Theater" too loud! But hey, I guess Im not "pulling down" the sort of annual salary that manager is, so what do I know? All I can do is leave this 1-star review in the hopes that others wont have the movie ruined by an obtuse manager on an ego trip.

This used to be our go-to place for dinner and a movie with the family. The last few times we went I noticed the food quality was going downhill, but still ok. We went today and the food was flat-out awful. I ordered the Arcadia salad. The sever sold me on the "grilled" chicken. Well it was grilled somewhere else (who knows how long ago) and packed in a can/bag. They just dumped it in a bowl. The chicken was definitely not good and neither was the pistachio thing it came with. It looked like a melon scooper size of avocado, but didnt taste good. Salad did not come with dressing. I didnt eat it. We also ordered a quesadilla for a vegetarian member of our party. She wanted all the veggies that come in the steak quesadilla, simply no steak. They said no problem, theyll charge for a regular quesadilla. However we were charged $13+ for a steak quesadilla that didnt have steak. Tried to have the steak quesadilla charge fixed to the appropriate charge and the salad taken off. It couldnt be done because apparently they now run the card when you order and close it out. This is the first time the server requested the card at ordering. We were stuck. The food is very expensive for what you get. We could go to a nicer restaurant for the same money. I will also mention that the womens restroom was filthy. I do understand busier times may lead to the restroom being a little harder to manage, but this was early in the day on a weekday without too many people around. Its a shame that this place went so bad because we really used to enjoy it.

I liked the concept, which is why I tried it out, but the experience was not exactly what I imagined it to be. For instance, the chair situation? A, B, C, etc. So the "highly mobile" chairs in front of the really long table you can share with a large group of people are just pleather office chairs that they placed in the movie theater. The couple chairs that are not mobile are the sofa seats that I wish were mobile, as in having the ability to prop the seat back. The whole food service system was more distracting than I thought it would be. All throughout the previews and about 30 min into the movie, there are many waiters just going back and forth right in front of you to take peoples orders or bring them food. Soo.. that means, you cant see whats going on on the screen, you cant hear whats going on, and you cant focus for several seconds every several minutes for a total of 45 minutes. The food was meh. The service was mixed. Our initial waiter was very friendly. But we wait for our food to come out, and ours is pretty much one of the last to arrive even though we ordered it before the previews started playing. My friend and I ordered popcorn as an appetizer but after our entree appeared first, we had to ask where our appetizer was and then the waiter simply dumped this whole thing of popcorn onto our small tables, expecting us to just deal with it, and scurried away.

Bought 2 groupons for my husband and I, then read some of the reviews and became nervous. Since we already bought them, we decided we would give it a shot. So happy we did. The service was great, fast, friendly, considerate, and impressive. The process ran very smoothly. We were both very impressed. There was 1 waiter who some of the time wouldnt bend down while walking between the aisles, but I chalk that up as part of the experience and figure wouldnt be any different if you were at a different theater and someone left for whatever reason (bathroom, drink, food, etc)...he was actually less "distracting" than the latter. The surround sound of the movie was loud enough if there were any noises...neither my husband, nor I heard anything. I thought the food was priced well and tasty. I had the bbq burger, which was messy, but delicious; my husband had a pizza, which although he said it was tasty, it was also too "doughy" and we shared chili nachos, delicious too. Only downfall (I can think of) is the heads of everyone seated in the row ahead of us obstructed the bottom portion of the screen. Since we saw Argo (great movie btw - highly suggest seeing) and the movie had subtitles, you either had to move around the heads in front to see what they said, or you missed some of the text. I cant wait to go back :)
