I give this the star HESITATLY for the experiences you can have from the rides. My family did the bobsled and it was AWESOME! HOWEVER, I give ZERO for the HORRID customer service at the front desk. And a ZERO for the complacent, smug management. After reading other reviews on here I now realize it wasnt just me that felt belittled by the staff. I walk in, ask a nice older woman what prices and time waits are in the rides, she gave the info, I said thanks and walked off. After picking our rides and signing our waivers, I stroll up to the desk again, only this time its a different, girl with long blond hair and resting b--ch face. I let her know we are ready, she then tells us that the bobsled isnt accepting anymore rides for the day. Okay, no biggy. But, the shuttle driver for the bobsled walks up and says its okay, he can take one more. THAT is when it all went south. She immediately got an attitude. Like it was my fault that he over heard her and bypassed her decision. Again, okay, fine but dont take your frustration for not being able to close down your register just yet, on me, the customer. She then, with the most blantent valley snot face voice asked if I had my close toed shoes? Which was news to me that you had to have them, I politely replied that I did not and didnt know I needed to have a close toe shoe. - She rolls her eyes, and I mean obviously rolls her eyes and says she JUST told me five minutes ago that I needed them. I let her know, again politely that she must have mistaken a conversation with someone else for me. Thats when this EMPLOYEE tries to argue with me that it was me. Mind you, my 3 year old daughter is standing there, my nephew, my mom, my FAMILY all gob smacked at her rudeness. I then calmly ask her if there is a reason she is being so rude to me? She turns around and walks off to get my refund receipt without word. (since I did not have close toe shoes, I was out of the bobsled ride - bummer but understandable). I was floored. Who did this juvinille employee think she was arguing with me that I was some customer she already spoke with??? It wasnt me, BUT had it been, I still would have been pissed by the sophomoric mentality and general "better than" disposition she had with a customer. - I walked away, nearly in tears from form frustration and humility. As I walked away, I filled with anger and called her a name under my breath to my mother, that I shouldnt have said. (Rhythms with ditch which) She then yells over the desk with her smug little face (knowing her management would rather make his much younger employee girls happy than a grown women customer), and asks if I would like to talk to management. I immediately, having been filled up with humiliation and anger say that YES, I would. HA! management. If youve been there you understand this joke. - This coy little man is standing at the desk, by what I am presuming is his lunch break flirt , I fill him in calmly, nearly chocking back tears. And with every respectably sentence, he has blank, in one ear out the other, nod. Staring blankly at me as if he was going over his list of closing duties, and how happy his young employee was going to be with him for not disiplining her. I realize he is not listening, or caring. So I decided it best to end the conversation. So I simply ended, with an eyeful of tears, that he please just make sure his employees dont make another customer try and feel stupid as she did me. He gives me what I can only describe as a Saturday Night Live spoof fake "Okay". AND here is the best part. As I am leaving there is another older man standing there, saying he got the SAME treatment from the staff just 5 min prior & its not okay to treat customers, let alone any other human being that way. NOW, I must conclude that the driver of the shuttle from Croasia? Or Germany? was WONDERFUL, hilarious & was able to make me and my family smile after such an ordeal. The staff at the bobsled ride itself were also funny and informative. I would give them & the ride 10 ⭐️

Worst experience, ever. Great activities but the people who work here are rude and obnoxious. (I had surgery 2 weeks ago and I have a limp) my husband and I brought our 2 kids here today. I asked 3 people about the "shuttle" and they had no idea. They ALL said "I dont know" . Fine, so when I eventually did get on the shuttle to go up a big hill with my daughter-at the top my husband was waiting with my son. So, as we are getting off the shuttle my husband asks the driver of the shuttle "is this where the shuttle to the bobsled is?" The driver screams at him "WELL ITS NOT going to sit here and wait FOR YOU!!" Are you kidding me? What is wrong with these people??? I went inside to see if I could talk to someone, a manager or something, about all the employees confusion about the shuttle. The first person I encountered at the desk (after I told him the problem) says "what are you trying to accomplish by telling me this? " oh my goodness. Needless to say, I talked to 2 more people who gave me all these excuses about why nobody knows what is going on with the shuttle. 1.) the employees are all in high school. 2.) this is a walking park 3.) shuttles are used for private events. Etc and so on. The Welcome Center where you BUY the tickets, the staff is dreadful. When I talked to the last person, who was presumably the manager, when I realized I wasnt getting anywhere I said "if you were me, would you feel ANY better after this conversation?" He just stared at me so I said "I dont feel any better about this situation after having talked to you" so he smiles and says "THATS OKAY!!!!!!" So, I walked away with my 4 year old. Is that any way to treat/talk to someone, much LESS a paying customer with an obvious limp. Ill review them as much as I can so that people know when they go there. DONT ASK about the shuttle or you will regret it!!!

My family and I have gone to the UOP for the past two years. The activities to the West (drop tower, ropes course, bobsled) are fun and easy to get onto and through. The biggest problem with the ropes course is when someone in front of you is very nervous or afraid and they get stuck. You end up waiting for them to continue or to be rescued and pulled through the course by employees. This happened to us each time we went on a ropes course. The drop tower is a lot of fun with two drop options - 10 foot free fall or continuous feed. On the East of the park are the Extreme Zip line, Extreme Tubing, and the Alpine Slide. The tubing is new this year and is fun and fast. The wait is short and you need to either hike up to it or down from getting off the lift. The Zip line and Alpine Slide are a totally different story! The wait to ride each is easily 45 minutes but when the line is full and crowded, plan on 90+ minutes! The Zip line was an average of 3 minutes between pairs zipping down (40 people per hour) and if they need to change brakes on the seats, plan on longer waits because it takes a seat out of commission for 2-4 runs. The time between cars on the Alpine slide was a minute or so. The green light would light up for the next rider and the employee would continue to hold the car for another 15-30 seconds before being released. My advice, go when it isnt busy (whenever that may be) and/or expect the lines. Make sure you can handle doing the activity without debilitating fear so things can run smoothly. If you dont like long wait lines, try another location like Park City, Deer Creek, Snowbird, or Sundance for Zip lines and other activities. You can also visit the park to watch people ski jump into the pool or simply explore the event history, these are all free.
