My wife and I attended "The Best of Both Worlds" at Cinemark 18 at Military Circle in Norfolk, VA last night. The theater failed to show the last part of the event, instead choosing to proceed with the next movie on their schedule. This was perhaps because this event was scheduled to last only two hours, but they ran almost 45 minutes of marketing and advertising material before starting the scheduled events. A number of us attempted to confront the manager about this, but we were told that she was too busy to talk to us. We were also told that we were free to leave if we did not want to wait for her. After a few minutes, she sent someone down with free passes for some of to use on our next visit, but these were not made available to everyone who attended the partial show. In any case, this event was a one-time showing, so we will never be able to see what we missed. I do NOT feel like I got what I was promised when I purchased the tickets for this event!

I live in the community and have been coming to this theater for over 10 years. I have spent hundreds of dollars here and today I felt like my time and money was worthless to the staff. During a movie, girls night out, I had to get up and leave because a group of people could not stop talking. I dont mind a conversation but commentary throughout the ENTIRE movie was ridiculous! I tried to politely address the hecklers and they ignored me. I talked to a manager, he dismissed me and told me stand in line and get my money back and went about it his business. The second manager made an excuse for his behavior and told me I should have talked to the booth attendant and they wouldve handled it accordingly. She went into the theatre had me point them out and said she had to watch them to see if they would do it again. Why would I go through all of that, just for you to question if I was telling the truth? They should have been asked to leave not me.

Best multiplex movie theater in Hampton Roads, and better than any Ive been to in Northern Virginia. First of all, the quality of the theater is exceptional, but the prices are also unbeatable! Only $4.15 for the first showing of the day, $4.40 for seniors. and $4.65 for matinee before 6pm. Nothing else even competes with those prices! They have a few EXTRA LARGE auditoriums showing the most popular movies and the screens are MUCH bigger than at competing chains, such as Regal. Even the smaller auditoriums have good sound and are CLEAN! I find that competitors are often dirty or sticky, but Military Circle Cinemark is a truly superior theater at a cheaper price. The only downside is that the mall itself is failing miserably, but that means that there is always parking.

I love the aesthetic appeal of the interior of this theatre. Ive told many people about how beautiful this theatre is with its interior decor from top to bottom. Of course, the lower priced admission for first-run movies is a steal! But, just to experiene the museum quality of the gilded gold-framed artwork of large black and white photographs of famous actors in movie history along with images of famous theatres of the 20th century are great to view by walking around the theatre to see them. I even admire all the door handles and trim on the walls. As I am semi-retired I like going to the matinees for the low price and available seating. It is truly a delightful place to experience a unique, state-of-the-art theatre and see a nice, new film at that!

Great place cheap price but times on internet are wrong me and my wife went to see the girl on the train the time was 10:45 pm we arrived at 11:03 knowing we were late first off the women in the ticket booth gave us the wrong theater room so we ran through looking for it on the other side once we found it , it was over the movie is 105 minutes how is it over and with all the previews that play before the actual movie it would be over no sooner than 11:45 right ? Long story short it was a disappointment but it worked out a little we still found a movie to see

So, when I go to this theatre I always think "You get what you pay for." Then I sit down and forget where I am all together and enjoy the movie. The theatre is clean. The staff is fine. The environment is w/e. When I go to the movies, Im not really there to critique the whole experience.. I just want to watch a movie. This place has all the same movies with a sound system and seating just as good as any other Cinemark in the area - all for a price that makes you think twice before entering. 5/5, because its a theatre - and it plays movies... :D

Love the fresh popcorn. my favorite part actaually. Me and my duaghter have made this place a staple on many of our weekends together. I love the classic movie teather atmosphere . The prices are the best in the area. whether early bird or night owl.Compare it for real. Best bang gor your buck. Very rarely have we had issues, any small one and they were usually resolved. Me and my dad loved going to the moives when i was a kid. In glad me and my duaghter can do the same

I go to this theater at least once a month. Ticket prices are great, the theater is always clean and more importantly the employees are always friendly. I have never had an issue here. Matinee is around 4.50 and regular movies are around 6.50. Popcorn and drinks are high but that is to be expected since that is actually how theaters make their money. But you can buy a popcorn bucket and cup and drinks and popcorn are 3.50 a year every time you go for the whole year.

Okay, me and my girfriends have been going to this theatre for girls night out,for a little over a year now. I must say that we are never dissappointed. The staff is very friendly, the theatre is always clean and the Popcorn is always fresh! But most importantly, it is the only movie theatre in town with the best ticket prices. So, if you are looking for a good movie & popcorn without having to pay a fortune, then this is the place to go. See you at the movies...

This review is not entirely a reflection of the theater or employees (3.5) but rather a reflection of Cinemark. NO REFILLS ON SODA IS THE MOST ABSURD POLICY I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. A large soda refill costs theaters approximately 30 cents. Even after a refill the markup on a soda is around 500%. So instead of having a customer that attends movies some 18 times a year, I will not be returning to any Cinemark until this corporate wide policy is changed.

Im giving it one star only because I cant leave it blank but I was just there Saturday to see rings I love that tickets are the cheapest around and that drinks and popcorn are very reasonable priced... Ive been to a lot of movies in my time but never have I ever had to in the middle of a movie get up and walk out do to rude a** people there was even a infant in there like really... I ended up getting a refund and will NEVER go back there again!!!!
