“Pour les fans de Walker !” Musée qui a au moins le mérite de nous faire connaître lhistoire des Texas Rangers et mettre à lhonneur le colt Walker. De belles armes en exposition et vitrines représentants quelques faits (Bonnie & Clyde) et rangers « Célèbres ». Musée qui mérite une visite mais aussi pour les passionnés darmes et fans de Chuck Norris ;)

Great history lesson on Texas Rangers, crime, and guns. Bring your reading glasses cause there is alot of small print reading in the displays. I got bored after awhile, honestly, Im just not that interested in guns and endless displays of them. But I did enjoy the displays of historical crime and the Rangers who help solve them. We didnt have kids with us, but I did note they have a Jr Rangers program for the kids to as they explore the museum, I didnt see that there were any real interactive parts to the museum. Nice gift shop and good documentary film showing. This place is worth the detour, with beautiful displays and real treasure peices if you love guns, and Texas history!

For folks who love gun history, Texas history, and law enforcement, this place is for you. There were plenty of gun exhibits, from Colt to Winchester, from old musket types to Tommy guns and modern machine guns. There were historic saddles and beautiful western sculptures. The gift shop had lots of fun western themed artifacts and Texas maps for sale. I literally couldve spent all day here. Access was about $6, get coupons from the Waco visitor center in the parking lot just in front of the museum.

This museum has something for everyone. There is a lot of well preserved history and rare items you will not find anywhere else. Do not let other reviews steer you away from here. It is not only guns...in fact it will take you at least 2 hrs if you watch the 45 min video that is amazing. Why didnt I learn this in school? Great cowboy and Indian art and artifacts from the beginning until now...the modern cowboy cop. You must see this and dont skip the Lone Ranger section or the hands on gun.

I had very low expectations going into this museum, I had planned to stay 30/45 minutes and ended up staying about an hour and a half. As a Utahan my only experience with the Texas Rangers was what I had seen on Walker, and I was quite impressed with what they do. The museum staff was very helpful and the exhibits were very well organized. Overall I would highly recommend the museum. A great place for a husband to visit while you are shopping at Magnolia.

I recently spent a week in Texas (Im from NC) and visiting this museum was one of the highlights of my trip. I would visit the state again just to go back and spend more time here. If you love U.S. history, firearms (they literally have on display every Colt and Smith & Wesson revolver ever manufactured), have a love for the old West, and have always wanted to know more about The Texas Rangers, this is the place to take it all in.

There was an amazing showcase of guns. You could take apart or put together a gun and it was amazing. There was a 3:30 show and I learned some pretty interesting things while I watched. The gift shop is pretty neat too. There are some great things in there to look for. Personally I noticed the guns on the wall you can buy, they arent real, but really cool. I reccomend visiting this place if youre visiting Texas.

MY FAMILY AND I VISITED IN APRIL FROM LOUISIANA AND LOVED THE ENTIRE MUSEUM. IT WAS A PLEASURE TO LEARN HOW THE RANGERS WAS STARTED AND HOW THEY PLAYED A MAJOR ROLL IN LAW ENFORCEMENT IN THE GREAT STATE OF TEXAS. THIS WAS ONE OF THE MAJOR HIGHLIGHTS OF OUR VACATION. I LOOK FORWARD TO VISITING THE RANGER HALL OF FAME AGAIN NEXT YEAR WHEN WE RETURN FOR MY BROTHERS WEDDING RENEWAL IN APRIL......AWESOME MUSEUM.

Very interesting exhibit featuring the long, storied history of the Texas Rangers. From the early days before the Texas bar came a nation and then a state. Special exhibits on Bonnie & Clyde, including some of the guns that were used by them and during their ambush. The movie they showed even went into a few of the "dark" times for the Rangers so isnt just a cheerleading presentation.

This museum definitely deserves more attention! Really enjoyed the setup of the exibits and the people there were very helpful. Learned a lot about the Rangers and how much they have contributed to law enforcement. They are a very elite group that needs to be celebrated! Great museum for kids & adults!

I have been to Waco many, many times and always wanted to visit the Texas Ranger Museum. Being in law enforcement, it always interesting to see where the Texas lawman began their roots to where we are today. I highly recommend giving this place a visit. Awesome little gift shop as well.

When You cant be a Texas Ranger youll have to settle for the FBI and try to take credit for things the Rangers did because the FBI needs all the credit they can get unfortunately they fabricate or distort the facts in their favor but we know better

A bit disappointing. Not really much to see for the admission price. A lot of pictures of men in cowboy hats, and a lot of guns. So many guns! And not much variety. Youd have to be a big fan of the Texas Rangers to really enjoy this.

Staff was friendly, all areas inside and out were clean and well organized. Seeing the video was very informative and will help one understand how the Texas Rangers work in law enforcement to protect our citizens. Good experience.

A one of a kind texas and American history museum. A must see if you are already interested in this type of history, and if not yet you will leave with a better appreciation for the Texas Rangers and western history.

What a great way to learn some history. Everyone should visit. You can even look up your own ancestors in a separate section if you have the information. And they collect and add on all the time. Wonderful job!
