I was really excited about touring this venue for my wedding and reception. I contacted them last week to schedule an appointment for today, Labor Day, if they were open. I was told that today at 12:30 they would be available for a tour. Rita even asked about our wedding date She was talking to another young lady in the background and asked her to check her calendar for her. Then she asked if she could call me back to confirm the date was open for booking. She called me back and said the date was open and confirmed our tour date. My fiance and I drove here from Mesquite, which is an hour away. We were extremely disappointed to arrive on time and no one was at the venue. It was locked up and dark. We waited a few minutes then I called Rita. No answer so I left a message. We waited a little longer but no one showed up or called back. When I book these tours I put them on my calendar immediately. I have not had this problem with any other venue we have toured regarding them not being there at our scheduled time. We wanted to see this venue before we made our decision this week. We were just really disappointed considering the reviews we read and the time it took us to get here only to find that no one was here. We were headed back home to Mesquite when Rita called at a little after 1:00. I told her we had been there and left. She said she had us down for 1:00 and apologized for the confusion with the time. My fiance was not happy but we still decides to turn around and go back since we had driven that far. It was a nice facility as the other reviews have stated but there was not a bridal/groom suite. If there was it wasnt shown to us. Thats something we would need. Overall this facility was nice. I loved the ceiling drapes and chandeliers but the grounds didnt provide much as far as backdrops or outdoor scenery for photos and again, no bridal/groom suite to use before wedding was shown to us.

Let me start by saying this place is simply beautiful. They also offer the up lightning for the lowest price around this area. Unfortunately we couldnt use the lights due to it not being the right shade of our color. My suggestion to you if you go with this place is to use their catering or make sure to tell your caterer to come with all food prepared and ready to serve. They only have a prep kitchen. I asked several times could our caterer cook in their kitchen and was told yes. Wedding day came and we get a call from our caterer saying their was nothing to cook our food in. We all scrambled and i sent out for some rice cookers and our caterer made it work. Big shout out to Leo the photographer. He is awesome and made working with them absolutely amazing. Rita on the other hand, not so much, she is the one who told me our caterer could cook in their kitchen but then said she wouldve never said that. Idk if she has issues remembering things or what. Shes a sweet lady but she definitely told me our caterer could cook in there. Then my poor husband to be had to practically kick her out of the grooms room so they could get ready cause she was just lounging in there like it was the employee break room or something. I signed up for the photo booth, i liked that it was in a separate room. However, sometime between when we booked and one of our walk troughs before the wedding,we found out they have to use that extra room for storage and the "photo booth" area was now in the hallway. I was disappointed but it worked out. All and all i would use them again i would just have everything Rita says to me in writing just in case she forgets and Leo rocks. If you dont go with them, at least go with Leo, great photographer and extremely accommodating.

3 stars because the owner, Rita, was very unprofessional but Leo, the photographer and manager was very helpful and kind. So, I went with my friend, who is getting married, for a tour. Keep in mind, she made an appointment for 12. She was running about 10 minutes late and called to let Rita know. Rita said that was fine. When we got there, Rita greeted us as she was eating an egg McMuffin or some type of breakfast sandwich while sitting on the couch with her legs in the chair while wearing a dress. I saw things I wasnt supposed to see because of the way she sitting. Thats how you greet prospective clients who you are expecting? How unprofessional. Red Flag number 1. Leo, the manager and photographer, gave us the tour. It was nice, but not really what my friend had envisioned for her wedding day. Leo showed us the bridal and groom suite. We really couldnt go in the groom suite because Rita was, I guess, taking her lunch break inside the suite. She was finishing her egg McMuffin while her legs were propped up on the coffee table... Really? Red Flag number 2. They have great prices, but you get what you pay for and I guess thats unprofessionalism.

OMG!! Where do I start! Rita and Leo are just two awesome people. My story was one of sadness until I met Rita and Leo. I was rescued by Rita, after another venue owner sold/lease his location right from under me; eventually returning my deposit, but leaving me in a panic to find another venue. In my search, I finally met Rita @ Ferangue Villa and immediately she took me under her wing and the rest is basically a love story for me and my now husband. Rita performed our ceremony with so much love and joy. My husband and I laughed and shared our vows together in the bridal suite with immediate family right before going to the reception hall and like magic "we had a ball!" The hall was perfect not to mention beautiful; with the blue up lights/chandeliers. We (family) are still talking about how beautiful and organized everything was at our wedding. I owe it all to Rita/Leo for allowing us to have so many wonderful memeories at the Ferangue Villa. I truly recommend this venue to any bride/groom, you will feel like no one else matters on your magical day. The place is beautiful!! Thank you Rita!! Paula & Ivory

Rita is AMAZING! The venue was prefect for all of our guest and the staff was so helpful from day 1 to the wedding day. The were so flexible with all of our request and made the happiest day of my life the easiest day! We worried about the size of the venue and our 175 guest but it was prefect I know it looks small but once it gets going everyone finds a spot and you still have a nice dance floor. The bartenders were great they were fast and awesome with the drinks. We had margarita machines that we rented and the bartenders cleaned them for us the next day. Rita really was the real MVP the day of the wedding, she we the maid of honor I wish I had. From 10am-midnight she made sure everyone was where they needed to be and all I had to do was walk down the aisle and say "I Do" she helped with the cleaning she helped with the guests. She was like a super hero that night. If God forbid I had to get married again Id call Rita and ask to do it again with her.
