Great products for sell as far as gift shops go. Truely heaven for a child enthusiast for dinosaurs and geology. Over a wonderful experience for any family to venture. You may notice the missing 2 stars. That was courtesy of a very rude man that had glasses, gray hair, and facial hair. We had just drove from Broken Arrow, OK at 9pm the previous night until reaching Glenrose and showing up when they opened, they have a rather large parking lot and my mother in law who is diabetic needed to rest before joining us. I did my best to park away from the entrance, as to not crowd wanted stops. I parked in a shady spot so it wasnt so hot which were the 2 worst spots. The busiest they got while we were there filled about 1/8th of the parking lot. The man tracks me down inside while my mother in law is resting in the car with the keys. And he tells me I am blocking 3 spots, I explain to him. We ended up agreeing she would move the Suburban when she came in, he followed me a good 30 min to which I go and check in her and he is still following me, I find out its only two spots by the road, after explain to my 65 year old mother in law, she just decides to move to avoid the annoyance. I hope I explained well enough, I will add the park does trump some uptight pain in the ass having a passive aggressive power trip.

I took my kids (5 & 7), and they have been obsessed with learning more about dinosaurs ever since! The animatronic dinosaurs and real fossils in the museum were my favorite part. The kids loved the fossil dig and gem mining. There were plenty of large and colorful gems in each bag of soil. We brought our large-breed dog, and found them to be very welcoming to her. Although a good amount of information was provided on each Dino, my kids ran along the trail too quickly to read every one. Still enjoyed the walk. Definitely bring water for yourself and dogs especially, as none was provided along the trail. Playground was large, and kids could have played there longer. Had to drag them away at the end of the day! Prices in the gift shop were reasonable, although admission prices were higher than I would have liked. Staff was friendly. Overall a great way to spend the day!

My 4 year old daughter recently got interested in dinosaurs so my wife and I brought her to Dinosaur World. You first enter the large gift shop and the prices seemed reasonable and there are some cool items to purchase. The little ones can dig for fossils right out the gift shop and there are set times to do so. The trail itself was fun and educational, and just the right length before you start to lose interest in the hot Texas weather. At the end of the trail is the bone yard where the kids can get into a large covered sand pit and use brushes and shovels to uncover fake life - sized bones. There is also a playground for kids and covered benches for adults. The museum has some windowed displays and a couple of replica dinosaur skeletons. This is a great place to bring kids for a few hours but the cost is a little high I think.

Have visited this park back 12 years ago with oldest son when we lived 30 min away and it was fun then, but we now have another son and took him for his 4th birthday since he is into dinosaurs. It is now a 3 hour drive one-way for us and it was definitely worth it. They have added so many dinosaurs and a great play park area that the kids LOVED and not to mention all of the outdoor seating areas so there were multiple birthday parties going on and no one was in the way of others. Fantastic place to take a kid who LOVES dinosaurs! And the Fossil Dig and Gem Mine were extra costs but worth it for the kids!

We went here on a family trip in late April. I am/was 9 months pregnant and was soo thankful they had benches along the path. We were pleased with the exhibit, but we were very disappointed that there werent really any REAL fossils. The trail was a decent length, plenty of shade and photo opportunities, and the MODELS of the dinosaurs were nice to learn from. The fossils they did have were in the museum part and they were mostly footprints and meteor stuff, but they did have a dinosaur dig thing thats mostly for children. would I pay $13 again, knowing how the whole thing went? most definitely not.

Really wanted to visit the state park but it was closed for hunting, so be sure the check before driving out to the area! Also wanted to visit Dino World though so it was fine. Kids would totally love this place. As two twenty-somethings, we enjoyed ourselves walking around and looking at the dinosaurs. As graduate students, we probably over-analyzed the content of the signs and museum displays. Overall fun! Definitely stop by the Stone Hut Fossil Shop when you first turn on 205 from 67. Lots of cool fossils for lower prices than the Dino World gift shop!

If youre already in Glen Rose for Fossil Rim or Dinosaur Valley, then theres really no harm in visiting. Works best for kids probably 4-11 or so. A bit overpriced, so be aware of that. The novelty of it the first time is fine enough, but I wouldnt recommend a second visit. Ive been twice, and it wasnt as fascinating the second time around. Nothing changes essentially. Statues are statues at that point. I wouldnt drive far to get here, but if I was already in the area with some dinosaur enthusiast kids and hadnt been before, itd be worth the afternoon.

This place is such an amazing hands on experience, for kids and adults alike. They have added all kinds of fun stuff this year sure to make you and your child smile. What baffles me the most is in our ten total trips in five years, I have never heard an unhappy crying kid. Aside from the gift shop maybe. The shop has affordable stuff, we usually get rocks and or minerals. Admission for two adults and one child, was around $35 with tax. You can easily make this a half a day event. Bring your cooler and have a picnic!

Dinosaur World is not much more than a small park and a playground. For a little over $13 per adult, one can stroll and gawk at some very dated, badly sculpted and poorly painted dino statues. The museum consists of some mildly interesting fossils and some obviously fake dinosaur bones. Now, on the other hand, the camp value is pretty high. If you are in the area, have some time to kill, and like a good laugh, then by all means visit! Some of the dinosaurs expressions are bizarrely priceless.

Took my 4 year old and he had a blast. The dinosaur displays were nice and it was about a 45 minute walk. The half way point had a koi pond where you could feed the fish if you bought the food from the gift shop. They had a fossil dig where the kids could sift for fossils and keep three "fossils". (Shark teeth and other little things). They had a big sandbox, two big playgrounds, and a museum. My 4 year old wasnt too interested in the museum but loved everything else. Would definitely return!
