At the Alan Cumming Concert, Sunday June 26, 2016 we utilized Majestic Theaters Valet Parking Service, as did most patrons that evening. After the concert was over and the valet returned our vehicle, we drove home. Upon arrival we thought of looking for objects we purposely hid prior to the valet parking our vehicle. To our disappointment, we discovered a missing multipurpose tool (leatherman style) that my wife stashed deep into the bottom of the armrest compartment. The next morning we phoned Majestic Theater who informed us that they would need to perform an investigation and they would return our call once completed. Majestic would not release the name of the valet company they contracted with but they eventually returned the call informing us now that a report had to be filed internally and again, they would get back with us. That was the last we heard from Majestic Theater. Since Majestic Theater has contracted with the Valet Service, the responsibility falls on them, especially as they would not release the name of the company. Its not alright to fail to take responsibility for your contracted services just because they are not your employees. My family and I will not be returning to the Majestic Theater for any future performances due to the unprofessional manner in their handling of the theft. Recommendation: If you intend to be a patron of the Majestic Theater, you should either remove ALL valuables from your vehicle or do not use their Valet Parking Service.

The theater itself is gorgeous. The seats are a bit small but I attribute that to the age of the theater. However, they have to do something to control the crowd. At every show Ive attended, please were arriving 20 or more minutes late and the ushers were showing them to their seats like there was no problem. I am sorry but I paid to see the show and if someone cannot manage to show up on time they do not have the right to take away from my enjoyment. Having the door shut and forcing them to wait until intermission to go to their seats might teach them to show up on time. To make matters worse, in the most recent event I attended, the three people sitting next to me first showed up 20 minutes late then decided that they needed drinks. There is no reason that the bar should accommodate these incredibly inconsiderate people by serving them drinks. I guess anything for an extra buck. Additionally, at least in the seating area, I have never noticed dimming of lights, ringing bell or anything else to indicate that the second act was starting. Thus, we get to be disturbed once again as everyone trickles in after intermission.

The Majestic Theater brings in everything from concerts to Broadway plays. The facility itself is kept clean which is nice, there is only one bathroom on the first floor, and one bathroom on the second floor. Which means for the thousand people that are in there, theres quite a line. Ushers are usually standing by to help people and show them where to go. The bathroom lines are organized thankfully. Seating itself can be rather crowded, if youre a bigger person it will be uncomfortable as the arms are stationary and always down. The building itself is beautiful, the inside is breathtaking. If you ever have any doubts about coming here, at least do it once. Would recommend to anybody, anytime.

Growing up in San Antonio, field trips to the Majestic were a given. As an adult-type person in San Antonio, it is a treat. Ive always been here to see the off Broadway plays, but have been vaguely aware of the symphony concerts that take place here. Truth be told, I was always a little trepidatious about that, concerned mostly about the acoustics in the old building. After going to the recent Harry Potter concert, I see the error of my ways. This is truly an amazing venue, and regardless of what is playing, chances are you will have fun despite yourself. Merchandise at any event is seldom ever cheap, and if youre looking for something at the bar, come prepared!

I absolutely loved the Majestic Theater. I thought everyone I had encountered that worked there was nice, the actual theater itself was absolutely amazing and beautiful and it was much less confusing then any other theater Ive been to. We saw The Lion King here and also had starlight suites, which I would highly recommend to anyone it is well worth the price. Especially for the seats you get and theres an area for suiteholders to go and chill out during intermission with your own bathroom, (no long lines!) I would recommend anyone just try this place once and see how they like it, because I loved it! Cant wait to go back. :)

Majestic is so great! The theatre is always clean and the shows are outstanding. Every now and then you get a "rude" house assistant but the rest of the staff is always excellent. Shout to the Box Office manager and her staff (Sherrie, Leigh, Marco, Alex, and everyone else) - I had a mix up with tickets and they were GREAT in helping me get everything situated. They were kind, understanding and very courteous. They would have been perfectly in their right to tell me "no" or "sorry we cant do that" but they went out of their way to help me out. Things like this make me a forever client of the Majestic. Thanks again!

This is an amazing venue. Restored back to its original beauty. This is a spacious venue that can comfortably fit a sold out audience. Old fashioned elevators with elevator operators make this a lot of fun. The ceiling is painted various shades of blue, there are stars that are lit up, and when it is dark clouds are projected across the the ceiling. This is just one of few touches to this amazing venue. I would totally come back to see whatever is here, party to enjoy an almost century old charm that simply doesnt exist in todays new buildings.

The Majestic Theater is a wonderful place with beautiful style and classy accouterments. Im on my third year of season tickets for the SA Symphony and my wife and I have enjoyed every show. HOWEVER, their bathroom situation is nothing short of barbarism. The mens sanitary accomodations are disgusting, and a place like this should provide FAR better than this. I had rather employ "port-a-potty" than those primitive, open things with which they insult and humiliate their patrons. Shameful

This is an awesome and eclectic theatre with a beautiful and elaborate interior. If youre in the area, I recommend catching a show. The theatre is short and steep, so views are decent even in the back, however I recommend trying to stay in front of the upper back balcony section of you want to avoid feeling confined by the ceiling thats right above your head. Bathrooms and bars are big, so wait times arent too horrible either.

This small theater has a beautiful interior and a well thought-out seating chart so there really isnt a bad seat in the house. As usual for theaters, drinks and restrooms are chaotic for intermissions but the seats are comfortable and unlike many theaters its easy to feel extremely close to the stage. By San Antonio standards, this is the place to go to see productions coming through town.

Very beautiful! Staff were very patient and helpful to find our seats. Won tickets to see Bill Burr from the balcony. Would not recommend those seats for my fellow tall people though. I could not extend my left leg the whole time and was super uncomfortable. Im a 510 female. I understand its from the age of the building that the seats are so small, but its be nice to see an update.
