Only bar in NB Ive encounterd that promotes drunk driving. My wife and I were their one night and we drank a bit more than we shouldve. We waited by our car while waiting on a Uber and noticed a sign stating "All cars left will be towed". I asked the bouncer if we would be able to leave the car until morning so we could safely ride home with a Uber. He said "If you leave the lot Ill tow it myself; so dont get caught (driving) or pay the tow fee". I couldnt believe a licensed establishment would resort to such barbaric and horrid tactics towards their customers. Thankfully, we were able to contact a close friend to drive our car and us home safely. Overall the Pour Haus has somehow reached the lowest level of dissapointment I never befor thought possible for a bar in NB. If I can give any advice to a owner or manager, please, please reevaluate your business ideals because otherwise you might be responsible for the death of someone too scared to risk their car being towed and drive instead

Ive been coming to this bar for almost 5 years now. Never had one problem, always a great fun place to have a drink. The atmosphere was inviting and I enjoyed the inside and outside bars. As of last Saturday on my way inside I was stopped at the door. The door man looks behind my head and comments on my Texas outline tattoo behind my ear. Its 1x1 inch in size not easily visible. Now keep in mind Ive been to this bar over 100 times with zero descrimination and or singling out. He then points to a sign behind a bush that mentions visible tattoos above the neck. I asked how long this has been in enforced and he just gave me a smug smile with no response. Personally the doorman was a douchebag looking punk. All in all Ive seen plenty of people in there with REAL neck tattoos and yet mine was somehow offensive that particular night. Well Ill be sure to never give this establishment my money ever again and I will turn everyone I know away from there.

Great beer selection on draft and bottled! They rotate the draft beers so you always get to try something new, and you can expect that it will be good. The staff is great and the bartenders are especially kind. Its hard to beat the atmosphere because there are so many options to enjoy your drinks; you can sit inside at the raised tables, at the outdoor bar on suspended chairs that swing or at the many reclining wood chairs that are great for socializing. If youre not into sitting, they have an array of backyard games to pass time and free arcade games inside. Ive been fortunate to catch some local live music there on many occasions and was pleasantly surprised being the critic that I am sense Im a musician. Overall, Id say this is the best bar in New Braunfels.

I used to think the place was great but witnessed a pretty ugly incident there recently. They probably need to quit hiring steroid induced young punks as bar-backs & "bouncers". I watched at least 7 employees kick out a patron - trying to make them hit him the entire time, push down a young girl, because they were so busy trying to fight the guy being kicked out - who wasnt even resisting. What I was really pissed off about is that when on eof the "bouncers" was told that he knocked a young girl down and stepped on her - his response was - "the b*tch should have gotten out of my way!" Way to go Pour Haus owners - you hire some real losers.

I love what they have created here. Outdoor beer Garten type atmosphere, they are dog friendly and even have a fire hydrant with a grassy area for our fur babies. They have a stage and feature live music several nights a week. The prices are average, the vibe is upbeat and the staff and patrons are friendly and easy to talk to. Most of the crowd is 25-35, but they do let in the old timers like myself. When we go with friends we fit right in, when its just the two of us, its a bit different.

I played music for an event at this establishment, and my wallet fell out while sitting in a chair by the fire. I contacted them about my lost wallet and they responded a week later saying they had my wallet for me. I was in Colorado on tour while they contacted me. Took me a month to get back to the bar only to be told "we dont know about your wallet" then "Oh yeah we threw it away, because we dont want the liability of our employees taking it." So yall dont trust your employees?

A female bartender served me a drink in a tumbler last week that was cracked, so cracked that it looked like there could have been glass chips in the drink. I immediately brought it back to her and the idiot just poured the drink into another glass. I refused the drink and wanted another one. She turned her back towards me and reluctantly poured a drink that had no alcohol in it. I wont be going back, Ill be going the the other bars in the area and giving them my money.

Pour Haus is a fantastic bar! They are VERY dog friendly as most of their venue is outside. It may seem like itd be too hot but they have multiple areas with covered awnings and they have misting fans all over the place. They have live acoustic music every night of the week. They also have a great selection of drinks. They dont provide food, as of this posting, but they have food trucks rotate out on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

I dont really go to a lot of bars in NB, because I live here so I usually just stay home, but when friends come to town this is always where I take them. Especially if theyre from Austin, because this place feels so very Austin like, but with its own NB flavor. The beer selection is good and even though its busy on the weekends you can always get service easily. I highly recommend this place for when in NB.

This place has a cool setup. Its all outside with an open garage style bar on one side and a covered bar adjacent to it. I havent been here when its cold but its definitely a nice place to hang when the weather is nice. There is a stage for live music as well as games. I would be here a lot more if I had the time. The only downside Ive noticed so far is that their beer selection is limited.

Feels like yet another country bar in New Braunfels. Has an older crowd than I would have hoped, maybe 40+ for the most part. Their bloody Mary was good, more alcoholic than usual. They have a big open patio and bar games. Craft brew selection was not good. Multiple Bars to order from. They get pretty crowded, seems like the IT place to be on Saturday night.

Awesome place! Dog friendly, laid back casual atmosphere. Very cool layout with game options. Live Music. Taco Food Truck out in parking lot for the munchies. Can sit indoors or outdoors. Swing seats at the bar, genius! Was surprised when closing out our tab, expected a higher bill. We will DEFINITELY be back from Universal City.

We came here on holiday in New Braun -- great place! I like the swings at the bar, thats a nice touch. also, the fire pits outside when it gets cold is welcome. This bar has everything youd need -- Cold cheap drinks, shot specials, games, humongous patio, stage for a band...everything. Try it out!
