Amazing time. Costly but worth it. Ive always wanted to do a wind tunnel and finally got a chance too. This location was super clean and the workers were very nice and helpful. At first I thought I was going to be dismayed with the service because the counter girl today was sick - coughing and sneezing and still helping people which I thought was nasty but I had my trusty Purell. Check was easy, they had several computer monitors around to do that. FYI you have to make reservations, no drop ins. The packages start at $70 for 1 (1 min) flight and go up from there with options for video, pictures, advance learning in flight with the capability of doing it with friends in the tunnel at once. I opted for the 2 flight option with high fly experience (where the instructor guides you up higher than normal - not the very top). Luckily there was a 10% military discount - came out to be about $85. The bottom floor sold paraphernalia - t shirts ($17-$25), key chain fobs, hats, helmets, pencils, and more. Upstairs is where the magic happens. You get to sit and watch other groups in the tunnel until its your groups turn for getting ready. This floor of course had the tunnel, a counter for supplies, lockers (free) for your belongings and a little area I guess for meetings or parties. Everything again was super clean and organized. First the group goes into a room and watch a 4 min education video. They teach you 4 hand signals - for chin up, relax, bend legs and straighten legs. There were 3 other rules given by the instructor but I only remember 2 - smile and hold still. Our instructor was very animated and made the group feel at ease. It seemed like all the instructors were very patient and energetic. After the video, we got our supplies: suits (worn over clothing), goggles, ear plugs, and helmets. They had some helmets completed with face shields. Next we were escorted to the tunnel. There was a seating area inside. There was a video monitor with a 2 min lapse so you could watch yourself upon your return back to the room. Im glad I picked 2 flights because you dont know what to expect the first time around. Upon entering, the force of the wind really caught me off guard, it was kind of hard to catch my breath with all the wind in your face but then I relaxed and it was fun. The instructor was very good about positioning you and cueing you on body position and keeping you from hitting the walls and stuff but you didnt feel rough handed just gentle guidance. The 2nd time was great, especially when he guides you to the top for a few spins. Afterwards, he showed us how a pro does it. They all look very agile moving thru the air with expertise and exiting back first thru the door. I wouldnt mind learning more to be able to do some of that. I loved how encouraging he was with the feedback for each person. GREAT EXPERIENCE. Suggested for ages 6+

I felt discriminated and emotionally hurt!!! Their wavier says in order to fly you have to be under 250lbs nothing about height, Im 410" and not very skinny but I met the criteria for being under 250lbs ( Im way way way under the max limit), due to my height and weight ratio they pulled me aside when we were about to go to the training and told me I wouldnt be able to fly due to my weight. I told them Im way under the max weight of 250lbs the instructor looked at me and said 230lbs I looked at them and said Im still way under that. I was hurt that I couldnt participate with my family, if I would have known my height would of been a factor I wouldnt have sign up at all! Im the height of a kid, what if a child was in the same position as me and was told they couldnt participate even though they met the criteria, just think of how devastated they would be.. If youre under 5 and "chunky" do not plan on participating they will crush you emotionally and make you feel embarrassed.

My husband I are 63 and 65. One of our daughters gave us this experience for a Christmas present and she and her family joined us. Wonderful service and a very patient and experienced teacher/guide named RORY. I hope to be able to do this again, hopefully sooner rather than later!! I highly recommend this place for birthday parties and school field trips. Pat White 3/6.2016 I just read some of the reviews and I am shocked that there were some terrible comments about the service and staff. I think these people must be disatified with life in general and nothing makes them happy. As far as injuries, surely common sense would tell you there is some risk but no more than riding in a car in Houston. I am so sorry some were injured, but I cant think that IFly contributed to that. Go see for yourself!

Honestly, being in the wind tunnel and flying for your 2-3 minutes is amazing. The kicker is the 1.5 hour wait AFTER showing up for your SCHEDULED time. In other words, if you make an appointment for 8:00 pm, dont expect to fly remotely close to that time slot. The staff even suggested that my group leave the facility to go eat and come back an hour later than our scheduled time. Why even make a (very expensive) reservation if the time wont be honored? Or, at the very least, dont let guests make appointments during a previously scheduled competition being hosted at the facility... and then make ZERO mention of said competition until after the guests have checked in. Thats just poor customer service. 2 stars instead of just 1 because the flying was fun.

I absolutely love this place! My husband surprised me for our anniversary. The facility is really nice and the entire staff is amazing. The initial visit is a bit expensive (worth every penny) but the return flights are definitely more affordable. I would probably be there EVERYDAY if I could! We went on a return flight and took our daughter. The time spent with family doing something unique is really such a valuable experience and memory! Our instructor Stephen makes you feel like part of the Ifly team. I will recommend this experience and location to anyone that wants to have a great time out. I wont lie, Im really sore the day after! So worth it though!!! Im definitely hooked!!!!

I brought my niece here for summer break and a little bit of fun. It worked out excellently she had a blast and quite the workout. Thanks to our instructor Vincent and the assistance Eric who was so helpful with my photography shoot, of my niece, we had a wonderful experience. I know giving somebody 10 minutes for the first time could be but my niece is 15, so thats what I did. I figured she could enjoy the excitement and it would be good for her body and soul overall and it absolutely was! Thanks guys for helping an Auntie out. I will be back again for a 5th time, soon ish.
