My family and I went there a couple of nights ago. I cant tell you enough how friendly the staff was. We have a special needs child who is easily frightened so the owner actually explained to me about a couple of potential jump scare moments so I could intercept them during the escape process but he didnt spoil the excitement for me. It is a family run business and the escape room we used was very family friendly. The puzzles were challenging but not too complicated and we manged to finish with 12 seconds left on the clock. It all ran at a nice pace with some support. We came away wanting to another one.

LOVED it so much, we did both rooms!!! Friendly and fun owners! Creative, awesome clues, challenging, engaging, very interactive surprises and clues! Fun and exciting for all ages! We had two 8 year olds that loved both escape rooms: Raiders of the lost Art (a little more fun for kids) & Grandmas Hidden Treasures! Unique concept: they have two similar rooms to race another team to solve the clues! Hope they will have a third room to try soon! Very exciting and FUN!!!!! Great family fun!!!

What a FANTASTIC experience!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the coolest thing ever! The family that owns "That Escape Place" really added to the overall exceptional experience. My husband and I were newbies to the whole "Escape Room" experience and they took the extra time to give us tips to make the adventure even more enjoyable. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone that likes solving mysteries/puzzles! We cant wait to return when the other escape rooms are complete!!

Absolutely fantastic experience!! I love that they are family owned and operated, and how apparent it is that they are passionate about what they do. We went for my husbands birthday, and had a group of 8, ages ranging from 9-58. Every single one of us LOVED it. 2 people in our group had been to several escape rooms, and they both said that this one was far better than any of the ones they had been to. Really, you cant wrong, they are amazing.

Perfect experience with the kids (age 12)! We did the Raiders of the Lost Art and it was fantastic! Challenging, but super fun! Accept the clues, youll need them! We all are dying to get back to do the Grandmas Treasure room. The kids had done other companies escape rooms, but agreed this was the best one theyd ever done. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time! This place was very well setup and challenging. We did the "Raiders of the Lost Art" room and it was very fun a challenging and we were able to complete it. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We cant wait to see the rooms they come up with next. I highly recommend!

This was probably the most fun group activity I have been a part of in a very long time. It was much more fun than the Spy Museum in Washington, D.C. Friendly and welcoming staff, and a comfy waiting room (even though I wasnt in it for long). This is truly a MUST. Keep it up!

We have been to a few escape rooms in Houston and this beats all of them hands down! This place is so awesome! The owner was very helpful and nice. The escape room was so much fun and the clues were great. We cant wait to try the new room when it opens!
