horrible Its Friday night date night! my wife came home at 630 pm and said lets eat at the theater ok We bought tickets for Hercules 715 showtime - at 701 pm we ordered a pizza med sprtie lg coke -onion rings and choc almonds. We were given the device that lets you know when your food is ready .Great 40 minutes later 2 groups of people that came in after us got their food . Problem was they were each given the wrong food -then we had 2 servers and 2 families in the theater next to us trying to sort it out -very distracting! another 15 minutes go by - my wifes HUNGRY as we skipped dinner for eating at the movies. I got down to the counter and am referred to the MOD-ALLEN as im standing there he is helping some teenagers .As they walk away he says whats a matter you cant read .Then asks whats my problem?i explain he says came back after your movie we lost your order REALLY i said no take care of it now .Allen a very not friendly manager refunds 13.75 of the original 27.00 order he doesnt offer anything else -maybe a pretzel? chips nothing -then says a very un meaningful sorry I said no you not and should not show your poor attitude to your customers and the staff that was clearly in fear of him .We have always had good experiences here but one bad[ manager] can stop that The new theater in pville looks like a better option

This past Friday night april 3rd my family and I attended the movie Home playing at 7:15. I was very disappointed with my experience. The theater had children talking throughout the whole movie. There was a birthday party going on and was not being monitored by any movie staff. There was a section that was reserved for the party and they didnt sit in the section designated. Kids ran up and down the stairs talking. I have 5 children that know how to sit through a movie respectfully. This not the first bad experience while trying a enjoy a movie at city lights Georgetown . Going to the movies have became very expensive, expecially for a family of seven. I expressed my concerns to a manager on my way out, he looked at me puzzled. I pretty much just walk off because he didnt seem concerned. If it wouldnt have been my daughters 12th Birthday we would have left in the middle of the movie. When my 6yr old daughter makes a comment about the noise and not able to hear the movie its pretty bad. We never got a opportunity to truly enjoy the movie. My family will drive into round rock for future movie viewing. Which really is a waste of money because we live in Jarrell, but I will not spend money to watch a movie and be unable to enjoy it.

My wife and I have gone the past 3 yrs to see various movies we have liked. The place is clean. Clean bathrooms. Theaters are nice sounding and you dont hear other movies in them while watching yours. Staff is friendly and upbeat. Food service is a nice added touch delivered to your theater when its ready. Popcorn is fresh and we like it. Drinks/Popcorn you can get refills, but really do you need it? America is fat enough. Senior citizens is the main crowd that weve seen, not so much teenagers or kids. We go on a Monday night mainly as its not crowded and wait about 3 weeks after a movie is released, so just a handful of people in the theaters. We have gone on a Friday opening day movie and the audience has been very respectful. We did hear one gang of Seniors that was chatty once when we went, so it can happen, but only once encounter by us. Dirty fabric on the seats. The seats need to be steam cleaned. Pretty disgusting! What are you to do though?

Dont listen to any bad reviews from a 12 year old. I go to this movie theater 9 times out of 10 for years now. Pros- The best popcorn around with all the best condiments (always stocked) - Inexpensive movies with pretty decent screen quality (3D & 2D ) - Unless youre seeing some Disney/Kids movie or say Mission Impossible soon as it hits box offices.. Theres never a crowd. 9 times out of 10 Im the only one and have the whole place to myself. Cons- Bad fried pickles. They literally soak them in vinegar its straight nasty and smells even worse. - Ive never had this issue before, but during Ant Man there was zero AC. By the end of the movie I was pretty sweaty AWESOME movie theater! Help them stay in business! The only reason you should ever choose Alamo Draft House over this is if you feel like having food delivered right too you.

We saw Deadpool last night. Not the least bit disappointed in the movie :) I AM however disappointed in the City Lights management and employees; We were sitting in the second to last row, and behind us was a group of 7 or 8 young folks. Buy young folks I mean the one "adult" of the group looked to be about maaaybe 16 years old. The youngest looked to be about 4. Even after letting the City Lights management know there were little kids in a rated R movie, the only thing he did was walk in and look up from the stairs, and walk out. So kids, if you want to see any rated R movie, this is the place to go. Regardless, we still had a good time, bit will no longer go to City Lights. We will be having our movie nights at Flix Brewhouse from now on, where kids arent allowed at all. Not to mention the theatre was dirty.

Nice little theater, trying to differentiate itself from all the other chain multiplexes. Went recently with my kids and had a decent time. However, after we bought our tickets and had them torn by the ticket taker, we went to the concession stand where I ordered food to be taken to the theater, Once she rang it up, I noticed she had added in the price of tickets to the order, so I was double charged for tickets. The manager gave me a refund with no hassle, but the whole thing seems ridiculous since you had to go past the ticket taker to get to the concession stand in the first place. Kids popcorn was stale. My pizza was good, and came out right as the previews were winding down before the movie started, so the timing worked well. Overall, I would go again, but Ill also be double checking my receipts each time.

All other theaters sold out the night we were going to the movies. We called City Lights and they said they only had sold 2 tickets to the Mummy. We get there are hardly anyone is there. I dont understand why. The place was super clean and has comfy seats. The popcorn was fresh and the girls behind the counter were super nice. I havent been to this theater in I bet 3 years due to proximity to where I live. It is about 25 minutes from my house. I will make the drive more often now. We need to all support this family owned theater. (Not a chain). I would rather see them have crowds of course but it is a nice experience so try skipping the others and give this one a try.
