Very enjoyable course. Well thought out layout; not unnecessarily difficult, but you will need most all the clubs in your bag. Only complaint is that there often isnt much difference between the fairway and the rough. I suppose this is to keep the avg player moving along. But it weakens some of the really great dog-leg holes, since the best play is often to just blast the ball through the bend instead of keeping it on the fairway. Greens could be better, but Green fees are cheap, so thats understandable.

Good course, well kept. This course was built in 1920 so dont look for a driving range because it was not built back then. Just warm up yourself. They do have a practice putting and chipping green and a very nice and friendly staff. Nice course, nice view, nice scenery, and nice people mean Ill be back!!!

I believe it started as a private country club. I have not played it in over 30 years but always enjoyed it because it rewarded accuracy. The greens and fairways were always well maintained. I live in Round Rock but plan to play there again someday.

Excellent value for a course in Fort Worth. I played the day before Thanksgiving and even though we waited on every shot, we still got through our round in under 4 hours. Lots of blind tee shots so be aware of the group ahead and behind you.

This is a course where the average golfer can hit every club in the bag. It is challenging to the low handicappers, and yet playable to the 100 shooters. A par on No.s 5, 8. or 16 is something to appreciate. And the people are the greatest.

The course is short but it can be quite challenging if you dont have your "A" game with you. Tall trees, water, and slanted fairways are just a few items to deal with, but the tricky greens will test your skills to the max.

What can you say, best public course layout in Fort Worth. Challenging and fair. Just wish they would put a little more money into it, but still a great course and lots of fun to play.

We came to this course when the Waterchase Golf Club refused to take us. We loved this course. It is so beautiful and you cant beat their prices! Would definitely play here again!
