I have been to the Plaza Theatre 3 times if you count the time that I performed. if you dont I have been two times once to see Zorro and the second to see Phantom of the Opera. I performed there once with kids Excel and I am going to perform there again with kids Excel. the Plaza Theatre has a lot of space backstage and plenty of seats in the audience. you cannot be anywhere on stage without being seen. I will also see Lion King there next year. the Plaza Theatre is a good way to put on a show if you get permission from the staff. the Plaza Theatre is where a good vacation should start!

A little back history , The 1930 Plaza Theatre, originally a movie house, has several ghosts, according to witnesses. Lights turn on and off, and an eerie red-orange light has been seen traveling through the mezzanine. Some of the apparitions here include a shadowy man in black and an elderly man smoking a cigarette. Also thought to be here is the spirit of a little girl, whose laughing is heard accompanied by the sound of a ball bouncing down the stairs in the Grand Lobby. Go check it out someday. muahaha!

Beautiful theater inside. Parking is more than a block away. Handicap accessibility is available but seemed difficult. Went to see Shen Yun on April 23, 2017. They delayed the start by 15 minutes or so because about half the audience could not find parking. Staff members were pleasant but seemed to assume everyone had been in the building before. Thus directions were not clear and there were no visuals to help guide a new patron. Seating was comfortable for me. The sound was perfect. Temperature was OK.

Beautifully restored historic theater. Just walking around looking at the tile, paintings, and other features was fun, plus an amazing performance by EPSO! The seats are very comfortable. The staff was also very helpful. There are steps, so if you have mobility issues you may want to call ahead to see what accommodations they have.

The Plaza theatre was renovated. It is a beautiful theatre, however, the seating is very uncomfortable and if there were ever to be a fire Good luck in getting out. Very good acoustics. Went to see the Little Joe Concert only reason I went to the Plaza Theatre. He made up for it. GREAT concert.

It is amazing on how the architecture was preserved as much as possible. You can literally breathe the history in that place, for it holds and undying beauty and elegance. Best of all, that refined classy feel of the early 20th century was not lost in the slightest, such mesmerizing beauty.

The Plaza Theatre is BEAUTIFUL. Coming here really takes you back to a different time period but its been maintained so well over the years that you feel like a high roller whenever you go here. They also host great concerts by big artist, the El Paso Symphony Orchestra, plays and comedians.

Theater with true El Paso ambiance! The auditorium is designed to look like a villa courtyard with a view of the night sky. The ceiling has thousands of twinkling stars to look like a summer night in EP. Its a gorgeous venue and most of the seats are good, even on the third tier.

BEAUTIFUL! We loved seeing Wicked here a few years back. Just thought of it because we are going back for another musical this week. I cant wait to walk in there and see the stars on the ceiling and the old walls now that they are restored. This place is amazing!

Balcony had a fantastic view and a quality equal sound when seeing El Paso Symphony Orchestra. Not close by any means but sound dealt big! Also they offer drinks in sippy cups that you can take to your seat and also take home for reuse if thats your thing!

Great venue for the performing arts. The entrance to the theatre takes you through a walk through classical Spanish architecture into a seating area the gives you a feeling of being outside in a garden as you gaze up at twinkling stairs in the ceiling.

Not a single bad seat in the house. Although I do have my preferred areas such as the balcony seats. Great venue with great shows. Take a date, or take the kids depending on the show and youre guaranteed a night to remember. Enjoy!

Saw "The Book of Mormon" here. Had a ton of fun with my wife. Venue is great, clean and the seats are comfortable. Not too cramped but aisle seats are best.

Saw John Cleese and Eric Idle live and managed to snag their autographs after the show. The theater itself was fun, with a nifty Southwest flavor inside.
