We saw circus 1903 yesterday. Was amazing. My only complaint was the staff didnt stop some unruly kids sitting ahead of us. It took all of us in the audience shushing them for 5 - 10 minutes and someone saying "be quiet! ". At last, quiet. We were in the lower area front and center so Im not sure how it wasnt addresses as people way behind us were saying "shhhh" as well. It should have been noticed. But .... there are no bad seats. Music can be heard well throughout. Bathrooms are pretty plentiful. Parking was easy to get into in the connected ramp, but be patient when leaving and my advice is to linger outside and look at all the theatres. Better than being stuck in the queue for 20 minutes to get out of the ramp.

The Buell is a fantastic venue for top notch Broadway productions. Even the nosebleed seats are OK for viewing the action onstage, though binoculars arent a bad idea from that distance, depending on the production. The only complaint I have is health-related, hence a one star deduction. My kids have asthma and walking into or out of the Buell (and most other venues at the DCPA), we are almost always met with a wall of cigarette smoke. I feel bad for those so addicted to cigarettes, and would prefer not to have to breathe their smoke. Otherwise, the shows at the Buell are great, most of the staff is super friendly and helpful, and we are always looking forward to our next show.

I enjoy seeing productions here, the talent that Denver is able to draw is impressive. I agree that the drinks are kinda expensive, the lobby does get crowded during intermissions, the lines for the bathrooms can be long and generally the smokers light up right after they leave the theater so the smoke can be an issue.. however, I do still enjoy seeing the productions here. The staff also seems to be helpful and friendly as much as they can be and accommodating as possible.

Very nice theater with nice paking garages near by. I have seen quite a few plays here over the years. Not really a bad seat in the house. Sound is great and chairs are comfy. They have bars that have good selection of drink options and coffee along with some snacks. Nice resturants near by within walking distance (The Corner Office is very close and very tasty). But on theater nights you will want to make reservations at the resturants as they can get very busy.

The Frozen show was AMAZING! The staff is super friendly! The problem was the planning. The show we saw last night was added without enough time to mail the tickets. Fine. The problem is that the Will Call line time frame wasnt extended, as a result I got a great view of Arapahoe & 14th as I stood dressed up, in the heat waiting for my tickets for almost an hour. Poor planning on the part of management.

The Buell theater is an excellent facility. They host all sorts of events from plays and concerts to TED talks and business conferences. This facility is very well kept and can hold just about any crowd size. It also is located under an open air canopy making the atmosphere of this area that much more unique!

It is cool that the building is historic but it is run down with tears in the tapestries, walls, and even the ceiling. The drink selection was as limited as the bathrooms available for such a large venue. I wished it would be invested in to renovate it.

Went here to see the Frozen musical with my daughter. It was an amazing show. The staff was all super nice and the theater is really neat and clean. We were up in the balcony and could see and hear great. Would definitely go back to see another show.

What a lovely spot - always a go to place to see TedX events. Overall they need to improve the AV broadcasting in the hallways for those who are manning booths outside of the events. The bar staff on all floors were very nice and helpful!

Frozen would have been great, but the half naked cabaret line in the middle of the show was off putting, to say the least. "Mom, are those people naked?", was not the question I was hoping to hear from my 9 year old. Very disapointed.

Awesome theater. Most of the seats in this theater are great. Sat in the balcony the other night and still had a great view of the stage. The acoustics are amazing. Many great shows come to this theater. Get out and enjoy the show!

Better shows than there use to be. Almost always get parking in the attached structure. Taking off 1 star because they always have the theatre pretty warm, if you are lucky you might get the A/C turned on during the second half.

Great location for theater-based events. TEDxMileHigh Women was held at this venue and it served our needs well! Excellent seating options, great sound design and a screen plenty high to see the events. A great location.

The Buell Theater is not only a great place to see plays from Broadway, it has hosted the opening for several plays. #23 on , The Best of Denver. The best places and must see venues in the Denver, Colorado Metro area.

The Buell is a great place to see a show. But the parking structure is horrid, and if there was a show that got out before yours did, you can never make it to your car in time. Best to pay for a surface lot elsewhere.

I went to see An American In Paris that was phenomenal! The acting, staging, music, the atmosphere. It really cant be put into words. The theatre itself was grande and larger than life. What an experience!

Saw circus 1903 and was mind-blown! Just a heads up for anyone parking in the main parking lot, allow yourself extra time for parking before your event because it takes forever to get into the parking garage.

Seats are comfy, staff is very nice. Both times I have been the views have been great. I like that if your late you cant enter... Could be a bad thing for anyone late. Snacks and drinks are the bit pricey!

Amazing shows! If you love theater, this is the place for you! I have gone to six or seven shows here and have yet to be amazed. Tickets are a bit expensive, but they are always well worth the price.

As far as big theaters go, this one is decent, with good sight lines. It has aged reasonably well. At big productions, the lobby can get packed & bathroom lines very long during intermission.

Beautiful, modern looking theatre. Saw the Frozen Denver premier. Really enjoyed it, would definitely see a show there again, but it doesnt have the intimacy of a NYC Broadway theatre.

Saw Phantom there. We sat in the back and still had a great view!! Sets are amazing, actors are great, and very easy to access! Definitely recommend seeing a play there.

My wife and I try to come to at least one show a year. Always such a great time and high quality productions. We love making the Buelle theatre part of our date nights.
