They have great shows, we all know this much. However when it comes time to do damage control for canceling a sold out show, they need to hire someone with customer service skills. The person in charge now is really lacking that customer portion of the skill set. I understand that the Phantom show experienced something to prevent it. However, when you dont provide information during the show and we are all waiting. Thats an issue. Then tell us to go out and spend more on your overprices beverages while waiting. Reeks of greed. Then have us wait even longer only to tell us to leave? Something stinks and you need to do a better job of managing this. I and so many others posting on facebook, news sites, etc were all expecting an actual response and a better handling of this issue. However when we called this AM, we were pretty much told that you do not care and will only refund the costs of the tickets. Poor poor customer service and way to represent our city. Nothing more than money in your pocket and not even worth of customer status it seems.

THE place in Denver to go to the theater. Musicals and plays from all over come to this location to perform. It is the place in Denver to go see your favorite Broadway show. It also is a great venue for many famous muscians. Elton John played here a couple of years ago and it was fantastic. Ive seen Phantom of the Opera, Chicago and other musical theater shows here. They also offer ballet and opera. Check it out for sure!

The Denver Center for the Performing Art (DCPA) is a company/business that produces live theatre. It should not be confused with the Denver Performing Arts Complex (DPAC), which is the complex of 10 performing arts venues located in Downtown Denver. The corporate offices of the DPCA are housed within the Robert and Judi Newman Center for Theatre Education at 1301 13th Street, Denver, Colorado 80204.

The Denver Center for the Performing Arts provides a variety of performances and performance venues. While including the familiar, they are leaders in bring new, innovative materials. It seems that they are constantly growing and expanding their role as a leader on the Denver area theatre scene. Visitors to the Denver area should definitely check out "whats playing" at the DCPA.

Outside & inside ushers were knowledable and very helpful in getting us to the right location. The atmosphere in each of the complex auiditorirum are always clean and has a warm inviting feeling. Get there early to get a parking spot. Elevators to the parking structure could be a tad faster. Spaces in the parking structure are skosh close for a full sized vehicle.

Says check seat did so nothing happened. About a half hour later think I discovered how but by then only single seats available. Need to get webpage folks on the ball.

DCPA is the non-profit theatre group that brings Broadway musicals, plays and special events to the downtown arts complex. Denver gets several first run events because of the great work done by this group. This should not be confused with the Denver Preforming Arts Complex, which is the physical venues.

This is the place to go for local theater. They bring in many Broadway shows that are absolutely great. Also good for the ballet (which I dont care for) and an occasional concert. I saw Elton John here a couple of years ago and it was the best!

DCPA is where I would like to spend every evening if I could. We always have such memorable experiences here with our family. Most recently we took in Wicked. This venue is fabulous. Thanks DCPA for bringing such great shows to town!

One of the best placed in Denver! The shows are Great, the venues are great, the staff is friendly and nice. Traffic can suck in the parking garage if multiply shows let out at the same time, but such is life living in Denver traffic.

Take care. I am a subscriber to DCPA. #7625552. I experienced poor ticket service service online. A lot of confusion/lack of communication regarding tickets purchased end of March and not received. Only partial delivery.

This place is great! Looking for a good place to take a date? Why not take her to a show here instead of a movie? Thumbs up to all the performers who make your visit a memorable one.

I have aways enjoyed the shows here, but I try to avoid the parking garage as it can be a traffic nightmare when everyone leaves at once.
