Room was great. I checked my stuff in with the bellstand. I was told to bring my ID to the bellstand and they would give me my stuff. However they have scraped the bottom of the barrel hiring "bellstandcrew" manager included. The guy who checked my stuff in was incredible. Getting my stuff back was a huge inconvenient unpleasant experience ...Unfortunately There were three standing around doing nothing. when I approached they were all scowling and unfriendly unhappy employees. When I requested my things. Derrick who didnt bother to greet me barked at me to describe my things. He didnt couldnt comprehend my description. (I was never told I would have to describe my things. I was told i simply needed my id.) Derrick who was very hostile blatantly refused to get my things. So I asked another Bellhop to get my things and gave him a description. He went to get my things however he was gone a while so I stepped into the back to see why it was taking so long. I found him going through my things. When I asked him why was going through my belongings He started yelling and screamING that I was not supposed to be back there.( Yet there is no sign anywhere stating this. ) I got a security guard and asked her to get a supervisor Because i caught the employee going through my things. He started yelling again at this point the security guard asked him to be professional. The manager camè over he was also crazy hostile and unreasonabe and refused to hear my complaint. For 300 dollars a night you can stay in an upscale hotel and never have to deal with thè type of harassment, and criminal activity that I encountered at Mystic lake casino hotel. The bellhop/Manager/customerservice/manager hit me with the cart running into the back of my foot and arm. Then denied it. Unbelievable! As i was speaking to another mangager. Who was also clearly not trying to hear anything i said. The manager offered to get me a discount. What a joke.! No one needs to be treated like a second class citizen for three hundred dollars a night. The standards for the hotel staff are exceedingly low. They do not match the surroundings or the exhorbitantly high room rates. There needs to be diversity training for the staff so this type of situation never happens again. These guys were above and beyond disrespectful with alot of unfriendly. The behavior of these workers was unacceptably offensive and uneccesssarily abusive. Apparently Mystic has no standard for the employees who have to actually deal with people of diverse backgrounds. Every person I spoke with had zero charisma ,zero respect, and zero customer service skills. They are expanding but I suggest spending some of their money on diversity training and hiring educated quality workers who can handle simple tasks like retrieving luggage, pushing a luggage cart and fielding customer complaints. Its is not ok to: Not Greet every guest. Refuse to serve every guest. Go through guests belongings. Yell at guests. Hit them with luggage carts. Descriminate. Refuse to listen when you are supposed to be the voice of reason. Treasure Island is way better. You win alot more there in more ways than one. Mystic will never let you win one dime because they need your money to expand their casino. I left feeling like everyone should know about my experience. Dont waste your hard earned money at this place. They didnt care about what happened. . Mystic doesnt care about the most important part of the casino. The customers. That is a huge! Be aware. Addendum :called to speak to a manager wound up talking to the same guy who hit me with the cart. He hung up on me. lol this place is a joke!

The Indians are so greedy. It used to be fun to go and play once and a while. My entire family has stopped going to this casino, (along with little 6), on birthdays, or any other occasion because there is nothing fun about pouring money into machines where nothing ever lines up. There is very little playback. If you actually get into a bonus round after feeding the machines, it is common to "win" less than a dollar! You can see it almost line up, but it always goes away before the reels stop. You can see it but you cant have it. (This is intentionally designed to appeal to your addictive tendencies and people usually put more money into the machine thinking it may "hit" next time). Not even the smallest wins happen, most of the time. We did not go to the casino and expect to win, (although once and a while it would be nice), but we would like to at least be able to play for a while and have some playback and SOME fun. We have moved around from machine to machine, played the same machine for a time, tried different days of the week and different times of day. All with the same NOT fun result. It doesnt matter. The indians dont care if you have fun or ever come back, there are so many people depositing their money into their games, they are way beyond caring. The indians do not need "donation money" and It is long overdue for the state of MN to open casinos to compete with or shut down the Indian casino Monopoly!!! Signing all of the gaming rights over to the Indians was a huge mistake! You can count on the fact that the Indians, are sitting at their cameras, laughing at all of the people pouring their hard earned money into their machines, and games, where it disappears, like flushing a toilet. The last time we ate at the buffet, all of their meat selections, dry chicken, pork something, beef leather yuk, whatever it was, were so dry and tough that it was not worth eating. We choose not to support them, and if everyone did that, they wouldnt have a monopoly on gambling! We need to demand a change, and the only way to change this monopoly is to stop going to the casino and stop giving them money! There are just a few of the Tribe members that share this huge amount of money. They let their own people starve while they are raking in the money. They dont pay taxes and as a sovereign nation, they govern their own gaming practices and do what ever they want to do without fear of recourse for their actions. Expecting to have fun at Mystic Lake is a mistake. We have started calling it Mistake Lake. Stop giving them your money for a while and see what happens!

Beware ***NO OUTSIDE ALCOHAL IN HOTEL ROOMS *** did not know this till after we checked in and one of the uncountable security guards checked our cooler as we walked to the elevator and wouldnt let us in with booze in the cooler, were told we had to purchase at the bar one at a time and carry them 14 floors to the room. This was just the first hitch. Went to the buffet and paid $48 for food that was just edible, if you are there and are hungry, do yourself a favor and DO NOT GO TO THE BUFFET!! After we ate subpar food at the overpriced buffet we decided to do a little gambling, first we went to the bar and bought a drink. TWO MIXED DRINKS WERE $17.50 at the bar and watched the bartender use rail booze that tasted like you wrang out the bar rag. Then we proceeded to the floor. As we walked around sweating our asses off because it was about 95 deg in there ( Im guessing to accommodate all the 90 years olds smoking while huffing from there oxygen tanks) we each lost our allotted amount of gambling money in about 30 min, so we went back to the room. We skipped the coctails (remember no booze in the room and $17.50 for two mixed drinks that tasted like used bar rag) and put on our swim suits and headed to the pool. The swimming pool was packed with 10 year old kids so we proceeded to the hot tub. The hot tub was nice, however there was another one of the countless security guards walked up to the hot tub every 5-6 min and stood there checked us out and made another lap. By this time we were a little creeped out with all the security guards and we felt like criminals so we got out of the pool and went back to the room. So with no booze, gambling money gone in 20 min and a creepy security guard by the hot tub we resorted to watching TV. We didnt get any premium channels so I watched regular network. This was fine and dandy till about 11 p.m. when the cable went out and now we didnt have TV. Wife was sleeping by 10:30, out of gambling money, no booze, felt like a criminal in pool, no tv. Pros = Room was clean and had a big screen tv that you couldnt watch past 11 p.m. I would not recommend this place to anyone, I felt like they had there hands on our wallet the second we walked in. I would recommend trying Jackpot junction or Diamond Joes depending on your location, they are 100 times better than this ripoff!!!
