After departing the Dallas Sixth Floor Museum, we were strolling Downtown Dallas (15 minute walk) and were surprised by this 30 foot tall amazing eyeball sculpture. An enlarged replica of the artist, Tony Tassetis eyeball. It is across the street from the Joule Hotel, owned by Tim Headington, film producer, and well worth the visit.

Very cool statue. Would be 5 stars if the gates were open to let me walk closer. The detail is amazing and the size is overwhelming. Its a must see. Easy walk downtown and in a good neighborhood with lots of restaurants around to combine a food trip with a site.

I have always wanted to see this especially after learning there was a sculpture at one point in time in Chicago. Unfortunately you cant get very close to it due to a gate and some construction but it was definitely worth going to see!

Very unique. Anytime I venture into Dallas I make sure I admire this odd, and artistic eyeball. Friend of mine told me about it before I moved here to Texas and I thought they were joking. (Jokes on me because now I love this thing)

Fun art installment to visit for a photo. Sadly, the small grassy park space was under construction (looks like some new landscaping is being added) when I visited. Plenty of shopping and places to grab a bite to eat nearby.

We visited here 30/06/16 unfortunately its surrounded by high fences and they are re-constructing the gardens around it. So we went for a drink in the cocktail roof bar opposite and managed a sneaky photo through the trees!!!

A funny find while walking around, although nothing particularly special. It is fenced off so you cant go up to it. I saw a wedding reception being hosted there though so apparently you can book the lot for private events.

After a few drinks, walking down the street at night, I look to to my left and see THIS! Its really a weird and yet strangely appealing piece of art. Even if it startles you in the middle of the night.

I dont know what this thing is or where it came from...but its really cool and kind of creepy! There is also a really cool sculpture or wind chime type thing next to it! Great area!

The art is great but it is too far from the road and if you try to enter the field in which it sits to take a photo you will be harassed by security and asked to leave.
