Whod thought that the Brits (yep, Go Ape is a British franchise!) would put together such an awesome high ropes course! Ive been ziplining 4-5 times and Go Ape is one of my favorites. Its a legit high ropes course where you go from site to site via zipline and in between, there are all kinds of obstacles including some challenging walkways and a TARZAN SWING INTO A NET :) Theyve added a new section where you traverse over the road, and then zipline back over it! I like that they have water jugs at each stockade so folks can stay hydrated. And theres also a picnic/BBQ area and a firepit (bring your own firewood). The only thing I didnt like (that most people prob wont care about) is they dont allow inversions. Its a safety thing which I can sort of understand; but meh, its much more fun inverting.

Some observations: Derick, the instructor was excellent! Very observant. He should be your trainers trainer. The slope of the landing was too significant. Im not a very heavy woman, so Im not sure if this is a factor or not, but I can tell you that the landings were too fast and a girl about 16 years old got a sprain from trying to stop herself from the landing. She was highly experienced, as she told me of about four other zipline parks she goes to. I didnt mind the heights, the climb.. The landings were the worst! This was the scariest part and it shouldnt have been. To be clear, I wasnt worried about the nets. I was worried about getting slammed at the bottom of a course. As a result, I will NOT be recommending your course. Sorry!

We drove all the way from Southern Bethesda to Gaithersburg for the zip lines adventures and talked and discussed with the office about my husband having three children all of a sudden when we arrived there was a limitation of two children per one adult. So you can only imagine how disappointing it was for the third child not to be able to go. Meanwhile there was a not little kids. Those are all 11 and 12 year olds with lots of experience and zip-lining went in other parks. So we turned around and went to Sandy Spring for the Twilight special of only $39 per adult and there were able to accommodate all of the kids and all of the adults

Worth the price, we spent over three hours and loved it. Got up high enough to see eagles nest once. We are going every year now. Sign up same day for best weather. Rather go without heavy coats. So glad my kids were young enough to need an adult with them, so I "had" to go! Great activities to do while waiting. Water available all along the course. Nice safety features and monitoring for compliance. We came down starving, and its in a nice park with picnic tables, so in the future Ill have the picnic ready! Some of the best fun Ive had!

Lindsey the instructor would personally receive a higher overall rating. This is the second location weve done a Go Ape course at. Although we had fun, it was rather disappointing to see part of the course shutdown for maintenance while we were there. Makes me wonder how much of the course theyre allowed to shutdown and still charge full price. I would probably be willing to go back when the entire course is open again but will be calling ahead to find out if it is.

I am older and would disagree with the statement that if you can climb a rope ladder that you can do this. MAYBE if you can climb a rope ladder MANY times, you can. We were exhausted by the time we were done. We may not be in the best of shape, but we both hike and are active. The humidity didnt help, but at least we finished!

This place is FUN! THey give you a demo on how to be safe and some rules to follow while youre in the treetops. Youre harnessed in the whole time so even if you fall, you only fall a couple feet because your harness stops you. Best time EVER. Will be going again with more friends this time.

Really great instructor, Lucus, was fun and made sure all of us were safe. Good for families and groups with novices because anything that was tough had an easy option or very prominent warning. The air was fantastic and tons of zip lines. My favorite was the one that goes over a road.

One of the most fun & challenging times Ive had in a while. Im a bit scared of heights, but once I got up on the platform, I felt safe and ready to tackle the challenge in front of me. YOU HAVE TO GO APE! Ive been to plenty of ropes & zip line courses...nothing compares to Go Ape!

A better value for fun vs. time you could not ask for. Training was great and the mixed parties naturally tended to space themselves out. We were never waiting for anyone as we moved throughout the course. Amazing fun! If you are thinking about going, JUST GO! GO APE, that is. :)

All entrances were closed. Our appointment for our group was at 11. At 1059 we got an email they were closed due to rain the night before. So disappointing and poor service. I will not even attempt to reschedule. They better refund our money promptly!

My friends and I had a great time. Its not just ziplining... you hop through obstacle courses while attached to ziplines! Cameron was an awesome instructor/leader. Definitely recommend him and this place.

Went on a LivingSocial adventure here. Would suggest this to people looking for a great group or team building activity. Grab some beers after to seal the deal.

Had a lot of fun! Perfect for groups but also alone. They introduce you to the climbing tools and make sure you can use them before let you go. Recommend!

Lots of fun, but if youre athletic, you can finish the whole course very quickly. Go when its not too crowded and do the course twice.

This place is a lot of fun! It can get slow when the people in front of you get backed up, so go earlier in the morning.

Six levels.... Moderate difficulty... Zip lines at the end of each level. It took us 3 hours and it was a lot of fun.
