What a great place for Hands-On, one-on-one, quality time with your child. For only $10 an hour this is a steal. My child loved to scoop, pour, measure, and drop all of the ingredients for each experiment. I got priceless moments of shock and wonder of my little girl in video as each experiment delivered a new and exciting chemical reaction. The staff are courteous and more than helpful. It seemed a little messy, but hey thats to be expected when you see all thats going on at each station. There are like 6-8 stations, each one named after a different scientists. Based off the two stations we went to i assume each station had 3-6 experiments. Your kid must wear a lab coat and eye protection and I recommend that you do too... some of these experiments can and will get messy. We were able to do 4 experiments in one hour. You get a big laminated binder with the pages laminated and it tells you step by step what you need to do. Easy to get started and and a lots fun! The one thing I would improve on, would me something to dry your hands after washing them.

While in vacation in Houston my almost 13 yr old and I went here on a rainy day. We paid for an hour, but that wasnt enough time, so we upgrade to the 2.5 hour time. ((Nice benefit that you can just upgrade by paying the $6 more when your first hour is up)). My daughter had a GREAT time, she could have stayed even longer. The lab is set up very logically and aside from having to ask for items that had to be kept chilled before use it was easy to do each experiment. It was nice not having to clean up but only having to put the stuff into the sink. There were lots of younger children there but my almost 8th grader liked it as much as the younger ones that were there. What a great concept and a very reasonable price as well!

Amazing space for children to be free to experiment. Took my grandchildren age 3 and 10 to open lab and they completed several labs in the one hour I signed up for. Next time we will certainly do the 2 hours! Prepare to be involved, I had a blast as well.

We love the open lab. Started taking my 4 yr old over the summer and the signed him up for preschool class once a week. He loves it. He cant get enough science this is the best place for his curious personality. Staff is great and very helpful.

We had such a great time at Little Beakers! Paid for the 2.5 hours and had plenty to do. We made three kinds of slime, all of which we got to bring home. The coke explosion was a blast (literally!) We will be returning soon.

We have only been once, but my kids loved it and ask to go back all the time. I wish they would open one in the Lake Houston/Kingwood area!
