Dear Family Fun Center XL, First and foremost I would like to start this letter with a strength your operation possesses. I am thankful and appreciative that you are not required to purchase a buffet to enter the building. As other places (Pizza Machine) require a purchase, you do not. Thank you. Having said that, lets talk about opportunities your operation has to improve. In a recent visit, my ten year, five year old and I were disappointed in several areas. We attempted to play the Elvis coin game where there are a few card scanners around the game itself. When one didnt work, we tried the second, when that didnt work (now having lost 2 credits) I asked the person behind the desk if someone could help us. Instead of calling someone, she gave a look of bewilderment and shock as if I asked her to explain quantum physics. She gave me a credit and went back into the kitchen area. As I was grateful to get half back, our initial objective was to play the game. There was no attempt to fix it, look at it or even give me a fake "sorry, its being that all day" line. So I brushed it off and explained to my 10 year old when he asked why she didnt call anyone and went into the kitchen that perhaps she is telling the manager. He didnt buy it. As we continued I noticed several people without wrist bands or any type of proof they paid for the buffet, make trip after trip with several kids in tow. No one behind the counter, no one on the floor and no one visible behind the kitchen door. Im flabbergasted as to audacity of these people continuous pillaging of the buffet while my 5 year old just wanted a cold glass of water and I didnt want to get a cup out of fear of not purchasing the buffet. After that we decided to try our luck with your "most popular attraction" laser tag. We approached the area and waited for someone to come over, after a 2 minute wait, I went to the counter to seek help. After waiting 5 minutes (which is a long time to stand at the counter and not be acknowledged) I decided to call the number listed for family fun center XL. The phone (which was in the office, as I could here it ringing) rang 12 times (yes, I counted because my agitation level was rapidly rising) and no one was near the office with the door wide open. At this point, I was regretting the $50 I had put on the XL card. HOWEVER, I saw a glimmer of hope when a buffet item needed replenished and an actual worker came out of the shadow of the kitchen!! It was amazing to see one in their natural habitat, so I asked him if he could send someone to the laser tag area. Moments later, saints be praised, we had a person. He was obviously offended we had asked for his assistance but who could blame him with all the "excitement" behind the door in the kitchen. (Im a little sarcastic and I apologize but understandably I was frustrated) He asked "you guys done this before?" Aside from the improper wording in the sentence, we said "yes". With that he offered no rules or suggestions on how long the game is or the scoring. Well, to make a long letter long- we finished with the game and we decided we were done. Too many missed opportunities to make our day fun. As we headed for the door, my ten year old swiped the card one last time in the truck wheel spin game where you advance by a wheel spinning and landing on numerical spaces. He slid the card to play one last game, and wouldnt you know it, the.game.didnt.WORK!!! Now, I could have got the manager but without working for you or the health department I couldnt go into the kitchen, I could call again and maybe waiting more than 12 rings (who knows, maybe the 13 ring was the key) but I didnt. We were done. Thank you for reading this long letter, I can find ways to disappoint my kids on my own, I certainly dont need help. Ryan Kreifels Sent from my iPhone

Cons: The games at the new location are lacking variety severely. alot of their games are being run on emulators and arnt original. They only have one single pinball machine. I was really dissapointed because I was expecting an arcade with many classics, not just a couple icade 60 in 1 cocktail tables by the glo golf arena to subside for what they do not have. Family fun center has alot of space, but with the lay out of the arcade they are not fully utilizing the space they have available. They have air hockey, but the tables do not work very well. All of their games which used to hold prizes now hold ticket amounts. Im very dissapointed with how family fun center has turned out, I miss the older games they used to carry. The prizes have gotten relatively cheap and joke worthy. One thing that angered me is the hours on sunday said 12am and they kicked us out at 11pm because not enough people were there, so I was told. One last thing, Some games charge whacky amounts, like skiiball 35 cents, pinball, 95 cents, etc... pros: The location was relatively clean, they have a nice layed back staff who are very helpful. Even off duty employees are willing to go out of their way off the job to help out others who are having trouble with games. Lazer maze, lazer tag, and paintless paintball were fun, and would be fun for your kids... maybe not paintball... I would say this is a pretty chill location to bring your kids for a fun time, but for us who grew up in the 80s and 90s I would stop by and browse before you decide to play. The best value is getting a 25 dollar unlimited pass when they open and stay all day. Overall: I am rating this a 3 star out of 5 star arcade. mainly being because of the games available, and there are better arcades I go to that suit my generation.

This place was horrible! Pricing: They over price you and have horrible deals vs pizza machine I could do way better with their pricing. Buffet: Let me tell you this. They claim all these pizzas and all these wings on Friday ...um there was a lil square tray of burnt old wings, maybe only about 5 in it that look like they was from three days ago. The pizzas looked like plastic cause they sat there so long. They literally had like 2 or 3 pizzas to choose from. The other stuff was nasty as well and looked old. They had chicken tenders too and they was mushy and cold to eat and the mashed potatoes came from a box and had no taste and was cold. The employee I mentioned how their buffet had bad food and food that looks like its been sitting out all day...she "quote" said that doesnt suprise me. Place is just nasty..I wouldnt be surprised if they are serving expired old unsafe food. Games: Well lets just say some of them didnt work, but everytime you swipe your card it takes money off it and well you get no play. Golf game wasnt spectacular looks like all the course was weathered and beat up. When you go to pizza machine its pack full and is like three times the size of this place...if you go here there was literally like 8 guest there...so I think people have noticed how bad this place is. Youd be better off staying home and ordering Clean Fresh Food and playing your xbox of playstation then wasting your money here.
