The bowling facilities are awesome. The restaurant management and employees should be more accomidating to ppl with special needs. We had our special olympics competition today friday the 3rd and one of our parents brought food from the outside. Now the sign clearly states NO FOOD FROM THE OUTSIDE. well there in lies the problem this parent is iliterate. He did not bring this illegal food contraband on purpose. He was mere ly feeding his special needs kid. Someone from the restaurant staff threw the contraband plate of food away without the owners consent. DONT THROW FOOD THAT DOES NOT BELONG TO YOU. next time please anounce over the intercome while the competition is going on that way our special needs population will be accomidated. Thank you.

Just started on a league last year, but these are my favorite lanes in Austin. The employees and staff are courteous, prices are reasonable, and it just *feels* like a classic bowling alley. There are no gimmicks, this is a place just for bowling. You wont find a DJ, laser tag, or black lights. You will find good times, great memories, and some pretty darn good bowling alley grub at the cafe. The pro shop staff (Ron & David) are fantastic. They wont sell you on stuff you dont need. They take the time to really understand and help with small techniques to up your game.

I had no idea this place existed after almost five years of driving past it between Lamar and Burnet. Its a great community bowling alley that is reasonably priced and family-friendly. There are some solid weekend deals for students (show ID) and UT fans (wear burnt orange). Check online for the details. The concessions stand has your usual selection of snacks. Just keep an ear out for the ready announcements because its relatively quiet. Fun Fact: This is the bowling alley from Boyhood. The scene was filmed in the bar area beneath the wooden Texas signage.

Delicious food is not necessarily the first thing that comes to mind when you think about a bowling alley. It still might not be after you visit Dart Bowls restaurant. I get the enchiladas (truck stop style) for lunch every time. Its a formidable plate of chili sauce, tortillas, cheese, onions, and jalapenos. They do delicious homemade bread, and Ive heard their dinner offerings are pretty good as well. One caveat: the enchiladas will hit your stomach like a 16lb bowling ball. Be prepared for sleeping the afternoon away.

A bit hidden as its not near a major highway (rather, on 2222 between mopac and 35) but make no mistake this is a full service large scale bowling alley. Ive only ever been on Sunday but thats the night to go because games are two dollars/person which means hours of fun for 10 bucks a person. Ive never had any problems with the lanes/service. The crowd is varied and the music is passable. Its definitely provides a great bowling experience. That says something as its usually hard to find good bowling within the city proper!

A nice, classic bowling alley. We played in a bowling league here and the lanes seem to be very well kept. The bar tenders were always nice as well as the people who worked the cash register. I hear the enchiladas they serve in the little diner are some of the best in town, but I cant bring myself to eat in a bowling alley. Especially not after eating at the one in Blanco made me sick for two days. But I digress, come to bowl and drink a few pin shaped beers and have a great time.

I love this place mainly because I can walk here and stumble home. Go on Monday nights for dollar bowling, shoes and nachos! But honestly, I dont know who could think these enchiladas were good, or anything close to what an enchilada is supposed to be. Its runny, not spicy, and covered in gooey beef. The nachos are ok, but theres only like 5-6 chips with cheese melted on top and some jalapenos and onions. Not quite what Id expect from a nacho.

Heard about their famous enchiladas online. I think they were understaffed that day cause it took almost 10 minutes to get our menus after being seated and about 45 minutes for the food to come out for a party of 3. The enchiladas were good, not spectacular or anything mind blowing. But good. Tried some of the chicken fried steak which was awesome. Maybe I just came on a bad day, but its not a place I would go out of my way for.

A great weeknight activity and place to grab a few brews with the pals. Photo provided, friend won a little plush in the claw machine and we decided it looked just like the Shiner ram. :) Of note: the cafe closes a lot earlier than the bowling alley. So dont go for a late night bowl expecting to eat anything that doesnt come out of a vending machine or going on a "liquid diet."

We checked online for bowling deals and found Dart Bowl advertising Monday after 9pm special - $ 1 per game/ shoe rental/ 16 oz drink/nachos. When we arrived and asked for deal they said that the offer is old and they cant update website. We had to pay their regular rate. No soda specials or nachos. They should honor their webspecials or take it down. Bad business practice.

I coordinate summer day camps for kids with disabilities for Easter Seals Central Texas. Every time I have worked with Dart Bowl, they give us a discounted rate, the staff are extremely responsive and accomodating, and the children have a blast. I cant imagine not including a trip here as a part of camp. Kudos to Dart Bowl - I hope other businesses take note!! Many thanks!

A group of us went here and had a blast. Its your traditional bowling place and for the prices you cant beat it. The staff is friendly, especially Janet at the bar she is super sweet and took really good care of us and has been with Dart Bowl a long time, and thats awesome! I would recommend checking this place out for some good old fashioned bowling fun!!!

Very affordable bowling alley in north central Austin. Large bowling alley (20+ lanes) with small bar and cafe. I was here on a Friday evening and had about a 30 minute wait for a lane. Food is OK. Majority of the other bowlers were undergrads -- they get a student discount. Dart is pretty "vintage", so youll find more trendy bowling alleys around Austin.

Dart Bowl is a really fun place to head to for a low-key gathering. It has a throwback kind of vibe of a place that realized in the 80s that it didnt have to be slick and fancy to provide a good time. The food station is your standard bowling alley fare, which means youre in for a greasy enough meal that youll call it delicious no matter what.

I have been to Darts Bowl for pleasure as well as hosted a fundraising event there for a local non-profit organization. They were kind enough to shut down after hours and give us their entire building to help raise money for the non-profit. I am a huge supporter of Dart Bowl and their customer service is excellent every time I go there.

We are always greeted with a genuine smile and hello from the manager behind the counter. The place is clean, safe, calm for family fun and also a little bit exciting to mix. Everything about this place is fun and authentic, and has never been disappointing. Most days you can watch Leaguers and thats also fun for the kids too.
