I emailed twice, called and left a message inquiring about leagues since i have 6-8 people intrested and received no response. We arrive last night with those aforementioned people to have a fun night of bowling even without being responded to, only to be turned away because theres no available lanes (according to desk attendant) until after 9 or 10pm due to all lanes being taken by leagues. Bad customer service all around and these busy nights with no lanes available due to leagues should also be something communicated clearly to people on your website especially if you dont plan on responding to emails and phone calls.

I am not a regular bowler but I have been going to Westgate Lanes since the mid-80s. I have always found the place to be clean and reasonably priced. My latest visit was today and I was not disappointed. I still love the 70s wood paneling all over the place and their burgers are as good as ever. I took my son and was pretty impressed that you could choose an option to bring bumpers up automatically for the younger bowlers. All in all out of the four alleys I have been to in Austin it is my favorite of the three that still exist and I plan to get my bowling fix there as long as they are around to give it to me.

yesterday i went over to my friends for her birthday and we went bowling we had so much fun and the only problem we had was that some people were drinking.This guy got DRUNK and was not watching his kids and they were messing around in the arcade. but you should try the fried pickles. YUM!!!! Overall it was the best bowling alley i have been to so kudos to yall if you go pick at least one shoe size smaller because the shoes were a little big for me:)

Great Sunday and Monday night special. I come every Sunday and/or Monday,bringing 2-5 friends,tonight the kitchen closed about 45 minutes early,which has been happening more frequently since the name change,I look forward to guilty pleasures like bowling ball food, if this continues Ill just pay more and take my friends somewhere else. Pro shop service is 5 stars though,Ive bought a few things and have been very happy with them.

Westgate Lanes is the best ! ! The staff is always friendly and eager to help. My daughter has special needs and she is always treated with such kindness. She enjoys the Youth League every Saturday. It is a great place to have a birthday party whether you are young or not so young. The concession stand has the best staff and the best food. Bowling is good wholesome fun ! ! !

Came here with a group of 14 and they handled our bunch (half of which were kids) with ease. Had a fun time playing, though we ran into issues with the second bowl of each frame scoring under the previous person. After a few restarts, they finally managed to fix the issue (luckily we werent competing).

The reviews so far for this entry are confusing me. The Strike A Lot Pro Shop is not Westgate Lanes. This is the pro shop page! And the pro shop is really helpful. A great selection of balls and gear. I got my son in childrens league play and he was aw to gear up in one easy visit!

Loved this place! Have been going here forever! We recently got another bowling place closer to us but we would happily choose Westgate over them! The food was amazing, try the wings! And the bowling was great! The atmosphere and people we meet there are so great!

The lanes that we got had repeated trouble. The lighting above the approach was very pool and the floors were very dirty (bad for bowling shoes). It looks like it would be an ideal place for a childs birthday party, but not so good for adults looking to practice.

Good bowling alley. Lanes are good and staff is nice. Bowling on Friday after 10 is great. They have the lanes lit up with black lights and their is a good discount for bowling all night after 10. Seemed to be a little short staffed at the bar on Friday though.

Great place to hangout, especially after 10:30 pm, when the lights are dimmed down. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because our lane kept troubling us with randomly falling pins and we werent given a new lane. But I guess this is a one time mistake.

Good for the price. They have upgraded many things throughout the years and have avoided turning this place into an uppity venue wit no respect for the game. You will see pros, families, parties, rec players, and first timers here. Great atmosphere!

The bowling alley is clean and well run. The staff was very helpful when our little kids kept getting the balls stuck. We went on a Friday night at 7:00 and there were plenty of lanes available for use. The food kept our kids happy also.

Great place to roll a few games or get some practice in. They have leagues pretty much every day of the week also. On Friday and Saturday nights they have black light bowling and special pricing! The staff is friendly and helpful.

I bowled in leagues here in the 80s and it was good coming back to find the friendly atmosphere as back then. The food is still excellent, and we had a great time. Thank you Westgate Lanes for a free game pass... well be back.

This place has been here since I was a little girl and I am 28 years old now and its still rocking and rolling. Food is good the beer is good the Bowlings good and the atmosphere is terrific! Nothing but Fun fun fun!

The facity is well kept but gets a little dirty because of the flow of people. The fees are not crazy expensive but worth it. Never had an issue here great place to come unwind and take it easy.

Such a fun place to take the kids. We didnt have to wait long on a Friday night. Great drink options for adults or kids. Plus an arcade tonpass the time while you wait for an open lane.

Bowling here has got to be the coolest around town. On friday nights they trun the lights out and turn the disco ball and strobe lights on. I recommend this for a family night out.

Its a bowling lane - if you like bowling, you will like this place. One of my favorite things about Westgate is their bar and kitchen. Fantastic White Russians and grilled cheese.
